YES!
I have only played in a mixed party / all demon party game. I've never played an Angel or anything else other than a Demon.

Just ignore that last part! ;)
I would LOVE to play an In Nomine game.

What sorcery is this?
Do you mean "In Nomine? Never heard of it, what is it?"
Or is it "In Nomine? I haven't seen that mentioned in ages!"
Because if it is the first one, man you have got to check it out. Angels Versus Demons battling for the upper hand with the battleground usually being modern day Earth. It is such a fun game.

The original French game was actually two Games, 'In Nomine Satanas' & 'Magnus Veritas'.
When Steve Jackson games acquired the rights for US publication, they took the concepts of the two & fused them into one game, where you could play either Angels or Demons. Although from what I understand from my French friends, they culled much of the gallows humor of the original, but I don't read French so I've never tried to confirm this.
With further expansions, they made it possible to also play other concepts as well, primarily 'mere' mortals, but I think you could actually play more 'pagan' spirits also.
It was hella fun to read, but I never had the chance to actually play it.
Both. I've heard in mentioned, but it must be quite old, for it seems my memory stems from the early 2000's. Never played it, though the combination of worlds is a very flexible concept.
Only if by 'old', you mean 'mid-nineties'...
Sorry, some of us cranky old farts remember back when Vampire was the 'hip new thing'.Algar Lysandris |
Having played both "side" of the game with the original french books i can vouch for all the Dark humor, the funky historical "supernatural" explanations etc...
Fyi: In 2015, a successful crowdfunding campaign provided the budget (in reality, more than 700% of the asked-for budget) for an upcoming new French edition, called INS/MV : Génération Perdue

Oh, I remember this.
Ah, how deeply I remember the Calabim A-hole Bob who basically said F You to both heaven and hell. My fondest memory of him was when he was being chased by a Malakim up a fire escape. You know those old fire escapes, sometimes the bolts get rusty. While he was trapped in the metal, Mr. Bob had to apuse in his escape to unzip and let his golden blessing flow down.
However, on PBP, I'm definitely more interested in a good side game.
I doubt I know which box my books are in, so I'd need to buy the PDF's, but I'm interested.
