So they just unvieled 4 new PFS scenarios for our anticipation. 7-19, and 7-21 through 7-23. Interestingly there is currently no 7-20 listed. I wonder why that is.
EDIT: fixed an error
Shush! We don't talk about that scenario anymore since... the incident.

Now don't mention that scenario number again!

#7-20 Sealed Gate 2: Fun Sponger
After one-shotting that boss in hard mode, I found it anti-climactic. Of course, I was playing a Pummeling Style Monk before the errata that removed it's critical hit modifier. Pummeling Style did need that change, but I do wish it dealt with Hardness the same way as DR now.

Still hoping for Shax's house of pain... and that would really need a disclaimer that GMs can only run this, once they have played it.
Kinda like paying it forward ...
That actually reminds me of an idea I had for an "exclusive" scenario (given the normal PFS nomenclature exclusive isn't really the right word, but whatevs). It would be introduced at GenCon and run by the author a handful of times, maybe two to four times. Once the scenario has been reported, the scenario would then be added to the accounts of those who played it (this is where the idea probably starts to break down, as I imagine implementing this step would be problematic), and then those players would be allowed to GM it. It would be pretty neat to watch the scenario spread from one central event like GenCon or PaizoCon to different areas all over the world.

#7-20: The Haberdasher's Debacle
The Pathfinder Society has decided to welcome its first Otyugh Agent, Hats, with his very own confirmation! As leaders of this confirmation, it is the players' duty to keep him safe without denying him the challenges necessary to test his abilities. But will they be able to keep Absalom safe from him when a haberdashery convention is being hosted nearby?

#7-20: Blood of ...Shadows?
A sudden influx of new recruitment and field commissions drowns the Absalom Lodge in newcomers, some of whom might not be entirely sold on the Cooperation aspect of being a Pathfinder. Are these new Agents on the up-and-up? Have they been recruited by, perhaps, a former Pathfinder, an old enemy (or an old friend?) of the Society, or someone else entirely?
This scenario is appropriate for four to six PCs of levels 1-5. Wade through a small army of dual-wielding half-elves with dark skin tones and more apostrophes and Zs in their names than the other 25 characters of the alphabet combined. Diplomacy or the calm emotions spell suggested for penetrating the ennui of the horde to get them to answer questions about their commissions; Perception or Profession (art critic) helpful for differentiating between "very dark brown (Pathfinder)", "very dark purple (monster)", and "midnight black (monster)".
(After seeing the fervor that shook loose when Blood of Shadows dropped, this opportunity to joke about it is much appreciated. Thank you!)

One of the wikis lists the scenario as tier 12 even without any information released yet. It also has scenarios:
7-24 tier 1-5
7-25 tier 5-9
7-26 tier 12
7-27 tier 3-7
7-28 tier 7-11
7-29 tier 12
If the other scenarios were all tier 12 as well I would have just assumed a default. Now I'm excited at the potential of a bunch of higher level games.
It's like a mystery box. It could be anything!

That is actually a pretty cool idea Mitch.

I'm hoping that it's 7-20: Rise of the Drow Guild. Drow show up and while the PCs seem to know what's going on, the rest of the world thinks they're just nice, slightly strange missionaries sent from one of those weird churches. After all, their only opposition is the Pathfinder Society, and have you seen those weirdos?

If this is true, I hope 'Eyes of the Ten' isn't retired this year. My local group are currently getting a table-full of Pathfinders up to 12th level to tackle it together (with me as the likely GM).
They're currently approx. 5th level, and aiming to get to 12th and play EotT near the end of the year.

It could very well be a 3 part retirement arc. I'm about to run Eyes as well hopefully we can squeeze it in before any changes.

Maybe it's a typo? A second evergreen 1-2? A reworking of First Steps so the factions make sense?
