I didn't see anything regarding this specifically but i thought i'd check.
Am I to assume as unlike every other arcane class that calls out arcane spell failure chance, as we didn't call it out in the warlock spell section do they ignore it?
I'm curious as right now outside of a few pieces the warlock piece feels like a magus without spell combat and spellstrike. But instantly starting off with no armor penalties seems somewhat interesting as you could be instantly battlemage with a feat to get heavy armor, and poke everyone to death with your super melee touch attacks.

We've been jotting down ideas, and Logan told me he's liking the idea of putting ignoring light armor's ASF into a talent though!Okay, I love this so far, but I have a question because there's something I think I'm missing.
How does the Warlock Vigilante spell casting interact with armor?

The summoner, either unchained or standard, gets to cast arcane spells in light armor. I would allow the Warlock to have this same ability. Their spell progression and BAB is the same for either class.
Summoner gets an a lot more abilities in my opinion even after giving them that. For example, their summon monster ability and duration n minutes. Plus their Eidolon and the abilities given to it surpasses a talent every even level in my opinion. Talents are nice, but only a few are powerful. I don't see the problem of using a feat to get an extra talent.
Its not that powerful a class...

in round 2 there is a talent that gives you failure free casting in light, and later on medium armour
Only problem is the Warlock is talent starved as is....
So far, I have not actually gotten around to playtesting, because every concept/build I try, ends up falling flat compared to using another base class :(

I liked most of the changes.
Though I'm sad mystic bolt looks harder to use without TWF. but thats sorta normal for this system, "more attacks =more better" (sans a few specific builds and classes of course)
I hope the final version will have like.. a sustan mystic blast, that does higher damage but no iteratives. Though more talents will fight for space, but it would allow for some fun builds.
I like that they can eventually cast in medium armour, but its pretty rough cost going down the caster route.
I think innate light casting would be a good idea, then combat casting+medim armour casting would be a good talent.

Well, that was disappointing, not only is the damage lessened but the bolts are utterly useless after 8th level given the average energy resistances that are going to become more common around that time. The warlock version has a lot of potential for fun, but seriously, this is just annoying, it looks like they beefed up the ok versions of the vigilante and made the problematic ones worse.

How about a feat that let's you bypass ER? Or a "Clustered Rays" feat that works like Clustered Shots.
When making multiple touch or ranged touch attacks, total the damage from all hits before applying that opponent’s energy resistance. If you must roll to penetrate Spell Resistance, you only roll once. If you fail to penetrate Spell Resistance, then none of the rays hit.

still too feat intensive and it still wouldn't do enough damage. This is frankly depressing. I wish a few of the ideas that were offered, mine included, would have at least been considered.
