Man, Daniel Rand is a poorly min-max'd monk player.

He took all these flaws for his ludicrous starting wealth, always forgets to use his Perception skill, and has some sort of weird archetype developed by the GM!

And then the whole Leadership feat... thing...!

Laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaame~!

I'm actually really enjoying Iron Fist, in case it wasn't obvious. It's a well-paced show with characters who have* reasonable issues and a sometimes painfully naive protagonist, where you don't hate many of the antagonists, and you don't always root for the, uh, "supporting characters," I guess? While you're always rooting for Danny himself, his critics often have valid points - he does things not only incorrectly, but also foolishly and in a manner that sometimes gets others in trouble or in danger or even gets them hurt. Although none can deny the... efficacy of his training, it's clear that ti's not a manner that we would find morally acceptable in our society, and it expressly harms his ability to help his friends - or even make friends - on more than one occasion; all that adds up to us, while rooting for him, not always agreeing with his ideas or methods (and often opposing them).
