Correct me if I'm wrong Kraang, but I believe you can still use a Wand of Shield on another person, but the duration is still a minute so yeah, you'd either be wasting charges or burning through them really fast.

Ummm, I don't agree. This FAQ is non-responsive to this issue for two reasons.

1) Share Spells is not modifying Shield.

The FAQ states wrote:

All of the examples given in this question are feats or abilities which change the function (i.e. "modify" it) of the spell. Examples listed: Augment Summoning, Spell Focus, an evoker's ability to do extra damage.

2) More importantly, Share Spells is not a Summoner special ability. It is an eidolon's special ability. The eidolon is not casting the spell, and thus is not "modifying" Shield (if you believe that Sharing Spells is a modification).

It seems to me that the purpose of Share Spells is to enable the summoner to cast Range: You spells or non-outsider-affecting spells on his eidolon. Disallowing a summoner list spell from being cast on an eidolon negates this ability.

I searched the FAQ and Paizo.com Rules Forums for more specific rules clarifications on this topic, but didn't find. Anybody find anything more explicit? I admit my paizo.com-fu is not Master-level.

I really don't want to be that guy.. x) There's hardly any consensus on this or threads on the boards. I've had the same argument a little while ago with my local VL and the conclusion was that it wasn't possible for the following reasons (in order of argument):

1) Share spells does actually modify it; as it changes its range from "You" to "Touch":

However, bottom line is:

And of course a summoner can cast any spell with a range of "You" on his eidolon (like a druid could), but not from wands or scrolls.

I'd like some clarification on this as well, but since the FAQ is the only reference we've got, it was ruled as a 'no' in the Netherlands area where i'm from (although they do tend to rule on the side of "avoid rules debates" here).

Yeah... can't really agree with you here. The FAQ seems to be focused on preventing metamagicking of wands, staves, spell-like and supernatural abilities.

Share Spells doesn't modify the wand or the spell cast from the wand. If anything, it modifies the eidolon, making it an eligible target. This is in line with the spirit of the ability and logical, since the ability is the eidolon's, not the summoner's.

Share Spells is an ability meant to make the eidolon an eligible target for such spells.

Since that 'Netherlands' rule would also affect me, I'm going to go with 'no' here. It makes sense to me as well.

I have a concern with Jan here. You see, when making the character I didn't realise the few things PFS has changed with the Gunslinger. Namely, the discount on ammo. As he is built on hero lab I have bought everything for it's full price. Do you mind if I go back and make a few changes for the right prices. All that'll really change is he may have a Buckler, but I can wait to the end of the adventure to buy that and instead stock up on bullets, black powder and alchemical cartridges.

Thought it best to ask first. It's really my own fault for not doing more research into gunslinger class.

Edit: Fixed! Thanks to Hero lab they had a option to use the craft function on ammo. All that's different is I have a little less gold, but lots of ammo.

I'm not sure what you mean, but you roll the day job before the chronicle is applied. Any benefits you would get after applying the chronicle cannot be used for the day job. Does that help?
