My interest depends entirely on the type of campaign you plan to run.
Notably, large groups in play by post games tend to be slower - I've found that three players is the maximum for truly steady posting, even at a relaxed rate, and anywhere above that is fairly risky. There are also a few mechanical bits (rolling more dice for players, such as Initiative and saves, to speed things up), but you can pick those up as you go along. Gestalt rules aren't a bad idea when running with a small group, but they're not totally necessary, either.
Otherwise, I personally tend to prefer high-power, high-challenge games. ^^ And anything Mythic.

Mythic Adventures hardcover....kinda higher power options....cool, but not needed to play. I recommend staying away from that for a while. And what Rednal says, larger groups can bog down the rate of posting...but that doesn't mean big=bad. Whatever you feel comfortable with, go with that. Gotta start somewhere right? What you could do is ask if anyone wants to play in a "playtest" group, by that I mean something to get your feet wet. Some players are willing to give a new GM a shot(me included). I think doing a one-shot adventure would be best. That's my $0.02.

I am up for a lot of ideas. You looking to DM a homebrew, an AP, a 3rd party AP, a module, or take a 4e AP and convert it to pathfinder?
I'm up for many things, but there are many things I'm not up for. If you make a thread, I'll guarantee you will get responses from many players. The player to DM ratio is very high, that it does not matter if you are new, old, well respected or even really hated DM, people will sign up.
and the reference for mythic is here

I am not sure what i am up for exactly. I have played mainly in 3.5 and pathfinder. Ive played some home-brew classes/races. Im sure I can do well if there is material on it for me to reference. But maybe a one adventure would be good to try and Im sure it could turn into a bigger campaign outta of that if everyone likes it lol. So what are good ideas for one shot adventures? Ones that could develop into bigger stories?

There is a Curse of the Crimson Throne Group looking for a replacement GM,
most of the players are GMs, but have their GM plates Full.
You can learn the things from the group and you also get into a one of the Player's games.

It looks interesting but I'm not sure how to run that campaign, I dont think Im experienced enough to pick up where someone left off. I would need some guidance and way more information so I know where to point everyone in the right direction. Why are you looking for a replacement GM? I just don't know where I would begin if I took the spot.
Mai Asta Isabella |
We are looking for a replacement GM,
since Our GM left due to Real Life reasons.
If you need a hand, I or the others can give the advice you'd need.
I'll give you a hand at a few ways you could pick up the game where it was or close to.
To run it, It would be required to get the AP Books (or PDFs).
Contains the Adventure, Maps, Monsters, Events, Regional information ... etc
The PRD will cover most of the regular monsters and have the rules and stuff you'd need there.

Picking up a low level module would be a good start probably.
You are going to find anywhere from 15-40 people who are interested in anything, no matter what it is.
Deciding on a several things will help:
What is your post rate going to be like, are you able to check and post once a day, constantly?
Do you have published materials you want to work with or your own homebrew?
How do you plan to map?
Answering these questions will help decide what to do and how to recruit.

hmm yes those are good questions. :D Also I can get the pdf mai. My post rate at minimum would be to try to post atleast once a day if not more. I have some books i own and i have pdfs and the internet, nothing homebrewed of my own. I dont know how i am going to map i have seen several different ways it has been done.

Hey, yeah, I'm totally on-board with new GMs. I agree with what everyone's saying about adventure paths being more straight-forward. However, if you wanted to go homebrew (you don't have to come up with new rules by the way), you could have a lot more of a relaxed time, and tell your own story (not to mention you have a lot more elbow room with NPCs and plot twists, etc. which will help take up the slack of being new to GMing). Plus it's cheaper to come up with your own story.
Anyway, if you wanted to do that I have a few ideas you could run, just lemme know (I'd also like to play them, but no obligation).
Whatever you decide to do, please keep me in the loop, I'm looking for a relaxed and fun game!
