Will GenCon pickups get their shipping emails before actual shipments, after, or will they be mixed in?


I had one class deck not included with my order as well

We're having an issue with preorders for August not properly schooching into the August subscription order. You guys didn't do anything wrong, its on our end.

I've finished the "Regular" August auth and I'll be starting the Gen Con pick up one soon.


Will those of us who requested Gen Con Pickup receive some kind of confirmation that the request did indeed go through? The display bug has me worried that I my request might not have gone through.

So we'll know when the authorization went through when we receive a confirmation email or it shows up as "pending"? My order, Order 3205859, says it's "complete", but I dunno if that's normal or not.

I ran a few subscribers for Gen Con and it looks like it will both authorize and charge the card today. This is functioning as intended and I was mistaken about how that part worked. If the charge cannot go through due to payment errors, and if it hasn't been fixed by the time you arrive to pick up your items, we can try processing it again there.

It also looks like after I run the Gen Con pick up stuff, any reference to those items will disappear from your My Subscription page. You can however, see the order in your order history:
https://secure.paizo.com/paizo/account/orders.

PDF's should hit Gen Con pick up subscribers around Wednesday or Thursday.

I just went through the thread and moved any reported pending copies of the Class Decks / Card Game Play-Mats to ship with this months subscription shipment. You should be able to review your order on your Order History page and confirm the changes.

Odd. When I look at my subscriptions, it shows that the next items that will ship are part 2 of Iron Gods, and the Monster Codex. Yet I've received no confirmation e-mail on the ACG or part 1 of the AP. Just a bug maybe?

I'm new to subscribing. I just purchased some minis and choose to have them ship with my subscription in a new transaction. Will they ship with my August subscription?


I also have the seven Class Decks in my Sidecart and they are not yet combined with the pending order.

I wanted to clarify how paying will work, cause 98.43 was pulled already for the order, earlier before it was fixed, and it still shows that that payment was taken, but I don't see any other money being pulled for the order total of 238.15 , so as I can see, I still have 139.72 still to come out but no signs of that yet, and need to make sure that it is gonna pull that much, and not try pulling 238.15 on top of the 98.43 already pulled

You are seeing an Authorization (FAQ on auths here: http://paizo.com/paizo/faq#v5748eaic9n0t. Long story short, we authorized for one package but have not authorized for the second yet. The transaction you are seeing is a temporary hold and we have not yet settled the charge.


Hi Sara Marie,

Both you and Sharaya kicked my subscription around back in late July and finally got it to only show the add-on deck and not the base set. Now the base set is back as part of my subscription authorization. Could you take a look again and possibly wrangle it back into shape once more?

For clarity, I was hoping to have the subscription start with the add-on deck with all of the promos, but not the base set.

Please let me know if you need additional information or if there is anything I need to do on my end. I don't believe I have anything in the sidecart, and I am not planning on adding anything until the August subscription has shipped just to make sure nothing else goes haywire.

Apparently I was in the group that didn't get my class decks Order 3192534 folded into my subscription order 3228131. They are still listed as two separate orders.

I know y'all are looking into this as Sharaya said so I won't heckle you on that, but I wanted to add: are there any known problems with Adblocker when putting down orders on Paizo's website? I ask because I had a similar problem when I subscribed to get the Numeria: Land of Fallen Stars book, and I also had Adblocker installed then. As much as I like Adblocker I know that it causes floopy things to happen on websites sometimes.

Looking at your subs, its an easy fix but I need to use them as an example for writing a bug report with the tech team tomorrow morning when they get in. I'm working on searching sidecarts for class decks that didn't get moved and proactively fixing them. I will continue this tomorrow. If you have class decks that were supposed to be combined with your sub order, please go ahead and make a new thread for your order so they don't risk getting missed in the this thread (which is easy to happen in longer threads).


Add mine to the too fix list as subscription and class decks are in two different orders. The order numbers are 3228214 and 3185516.

I just started a subscription up for the first time to get the ACG. Because I just got paid today, I only just did it today. So does that mean my book will ship closer to the 22nd, or do you think they'll be a bit quicker than that..?

I ask because I'd went ahead and ordered the ACG last month ahead of time, figuring it would ship with Iron Gods 1, but now I see one has processed but the other hasn't.

Your sidecart is the bit of the system that contains anything that is awaiting shipment with your next subscription shipment - It works for thing you order between subscriptions, or non subscription releases due at the point of your order.

Normally, when they generate the subscription orders, the system goes to your account, and looks at your subscription. It picks out one of each item your subscribing for, and then checks your sidecart for anything that it can send out this month.

The problem this month seems to be for some of us, it hasn't done that 'look in sidecart' stage.

Following Sara Marie's advice, best to start a new thread here to highlight it to the team so they can fix the error.

Ideally, anytime up until we spawn orders you can put things into your Sidecart. We when spawn orders, items that are ready to go should be pulled into that month's subscription order and generally this will save on shipping. Right now, we're having a couple issues with sidecarts. First, with a a new user interface for the order checkout, adding things vs shipping them separately got a bit buried during check out and its not as easy to find the option to switch from one to the other. Secondly, it appears that recently the order spawning tool stopped properly handling Paizo preorders that were releasing at the same time as the subscription. So people who preordered, say, the Advanced Class Guide may have had trouble getting it into their sidecart and if they did get it in their sidecart, it wasn't pulled correctly during the order spawning. I am attempting to go through and find as many of these items as I can so that they don't get left in the sidecart.

I will email you additional details about your particular order for the Advanced Class Guide.
