thanks for all the work and I look forward to the next wild shape levels. thank you very much

For me, the numbers look wrong, so I'm hoping someone can clarify. When I plug in +0 Str and +6 BAB, The sheet pretty much says +7 or +6 across the board for all creature sizes. Shouldn't Large creatures be showing +10 / Medium +8 / Small at +6? Why the fluctuations? Why aren't Large showing up at +10?

Are there additional rules I am just not aware of that effect these things?

I want to have my daughter use this, as she plays a druid, but I was having trouble figuring out why this is different than the calcs we did on the forms she presently uses frequently.

Help?

If I skimmed properly (I apologize whether I did or didn't, as you've put in a lot of good work collecting all of the information!), it looks like you haven't taken the size bonuses/penalties for simply being a smaller/larger size into account; those mean the attack bonus for wild shaping into animals is almost always the same (except for Diminutive), since the extra STR gained for each higher size category is cancelled out by the size penalty to attacks.

Medium is +2 STR, no penalty, for a total of +1 to attacks.
Large is +4 STR, -1 size penalty, for a total of +1 to attacks.
Huge is +6 STR, -2 size penalty, for a total of +1 to attacks.

Similarly for taking smaller forms:
Small is no STR bonus, but with +1 size bonus, for a total of +1 to attacks.
Tiny is -2 STR, +2 size bonus, for a total of +1 to attacks.

Diminutive is the only wild-shape-applicable size that differs, with -4 STR and +4 size bonus, for a total of +2 to attacks.

The negatives are to DEX. Why on earth is that supposed to have any effect on the attack bonus? Please help me understand.

Is this a mistake? Or are porcupines really that scary?

Another nasty for a single attack is the giant dragonfly. It has 2d8 bite attack as a medium creature.

The bonuses have nothing to do with dex. Depending on your size you get a size bonus. 0 for medium +1 for small. -1 for large. Its harder to hit something small like a mouse than it is to hit the broad side of a barn

Also the size bonuses are applied to the combat manuevers as well. Only in reverse as a giant is better at grappling than a mouse is.

I've finally figured it out. The Polymorph School description clarifies it. I wish the spell description or Druid description indicated you should read the Polymorph school info when applying beast shape and other polymorph spells / spell-like effects.

Where is power attack or other feats that directly either increase/decrease damage or attack? other than that awesome and super useful.

Hey guys,

I am using a simular sheet for my Druid

Druid Wildshape sheet

fill in your stats in the upper part below "score", add ability bonus to the right.

you can change what form you want to use by clicking on the light blue "beast shape".

It's a work in progress! but feel free to use it.

Hey guys,
what about this other one?

It's a web application that you can use from any device (laptop, mobile, tablet...). It's almost finished. Now I'm working with the buffs (magical enhancements from objects, spells, feats).

Hello Pathfinders!

I have created a Wildshape Calculator for Level 4 and Level 6 Druids.

Level 4 Wildshape Calculator

Level 6 Wildshape Calculator

Simply enter your STR BONUS and BAB in the fields at the bottom of the first worksheet, and watch as all available animals and elementals have the attack bonus and damage calculated immediately.

Additionally, the movement forms and special attacks are listed if applicable.

I will try to do level 8 and 10 this week.

I appreciate any feedback.

Enjoy!

Excellent. I've been trying to make a druid shifter, this will help :)

I have made another Wildshape Calculator that might be of interest. I converted it from OpenOffice to Google Docs so it might have some flaws, but it seamed to work okay for me. If you find any errors please let me know.

It calculates new attack mods, AC, CMD, CMB and HP based on your choice of form. It also allows for Wild armor and shields, as well as Mage Armor.

Is the one for Druid 10 finished? I have yet to even use wild shpe and just hit lvl 11. Thank you

So awesome. Seriously.

Hey Guys,

I'm hoping someone could help as I am confused by the need for this tool? I admit that I have never personally read the rules I get everything through my Dm.

I was told if using wildshape you just take on the stats of the amimal you transform, so just take the stats from the beastiality book?

Thanks fr any advice you can give on this subject.

Nope - your DM was mistaken (unless he's consciously chosen to run things differently from the standard rules). According to the rules-as-written, when you wildshape, you gain bonuses according to the description for the beast shape spells rather than just lifting stats from the Bestiary entry. The description of Wild Shape in the druid class details will tell you more.

Just for the future: you're more likely to get a response to a question if you create a new thread for it, rather than adding on to old threads. It makes it easier to see. Also, might I suggest d20pfsrd or Archives of Nethys as resources, so you don't have to rely on second-hand information? Both are free online collections of the Pathfinder ruleset, and will get you well on the way to rules-knowledge independence. :)

However, if you really want to powergame, I prefer the Deinonychus for the multiple attacks. Cast a frostbite on yourself prior to wildshape and you can do 2d8+10, 1d6+5, 1d4+2, and 4d6+16 (no save) in a single round at level 4.

If you really, really want to powergame, I see 2 ways to go. One is Giant Octopus: 1 Bite + 8 Tentacles all with Grab and Constrict, for 17 attacks/round! Tentacles are Secondary Natural Attacks, so you should take Multiattack.

Play a Human. Take a level in Warpriest, 2 in Brawler, and 2 in Fighter. Take weapon Focus Unarmed. Then take Martial Versatility weapon Focus and Specialization. Now all those 17 Natural Attacks a base 1d8 damage, +2 for Weapon Specialization. That's 1d6 for Warpriest, + Size increase from Medium to Large. Cast Strong Jaw on yourself, and inflict damage as if you were 2 Sizes bigger, so that's 3d6 damage for all those Attacks.

Have a suit of Barding Armor made for you while in Octopus Form. Put Armor Spikes on it so that you will do an extra 1d8 Armor Spike Damage with every Constrict, 2d6 if you buff yourself with Lead Blades.

Take 2 Weapon Fighting. Add 2 Unarmed Strikes to your attack routine, also doing 1d8 or 2d6 damage.

Acquire a Helm of the Mammoth Lord, and that will do 3d6 Damage, too. Acquire a Tentacle Cloak, and you get 2 more Tentacle attacks!

Take Hamatula Strike. Now your Gore and Bite get Grapple Attacks similar to Grab, and they get Constrict and Armor Spike Damage, too.

Take Snake Style, and your Unarmed Strikes count as Piercing, so they can get in on the Hamatula Strike Fun.

The other way I would go is Warcat. You pretty much can't take Multiattack in Pathfinder Society, and I can easily see a GM making trouble for you staying in the form of an Aquatic Creature if it isn't a maritime campaign.

Warcats are like Tigers, but Size Huge with a Bite, 2 Claws, Grab, and a 2 Claw Rake. If you play the Warpriest/Strong Jaw trick, That's 4d6 Damage/per claw. You might still apply Hamatula Strike to all your Natural Attacks. You could take a level in White Haired Witch and add a Hair Attack, which a GM might not allow on a Giant Octopus: no hair.

I don't think Warcat is on your list of Animals. Also missing is the Megaraptor. like the Deinonychus--your favorite--Bite/2Claws/2Talons, but size Large.

Thread is 2 years old. But since I'm here I'll just point out that warcats do not get rake. They get rend and trample instead. But you don't get rend in wildshape.
Warcat claw damage is 1d8, if you cast strong jaw the damage increases to 3d6. How do you get it to 4d6?

I overlooked that. Shucks. They get Grab, though, and that's pretty awesome, expecialy with the Armor Spikes. But that makes Warcat comparable to an Allosaurus. Except for the Hair.

Use Warpriest Sacred Weapon Damage, 1d6 for a Medium Warpriest at level 1. Size up to Large, 1d8, Huge, 2d6. Then Cast Strong Jaw on yourself: 2 sizes bigger, 4d6.

That's cool, nice way to circumvent the Feral Combat Training nerf and make Fist of the Forest a thing again.

I've been using Shoemakers spreadsheet since I first created my daughters Druid and now she has hit level 10 and no updated spreadsheet :(

Any idea if this is going to be updated?

Me too, i have write to him, no answer yet :(

Your sheet has been most helpful. Thank you. However, I have noticed there is no Diminutive calculation on the "Notes" page. It looks like you are using the Tiny calculations. While the attack bonus is still calculated correctly, this causes the diminutive damage values to return incorrectly.

Why not add all the levels on 1 sheet, one tab for each level?
