Like to give my shout out. Sean good luck with this new exciting chapter of your life. I am happy to hear about you and Jodi's move and impending success. I have greatly enjoyed your work since your first days here at paizo. And as WoW player who has greatly enjoyed playing with you on the paizo guild I wish you only the best. I also embark on my own journey to England and cordially invite you and Jodi to enjoy a nice trip to the English countryside after you guys get settled.

I always enjoyed Sean's work back to when I first noticed his name on Forgotten Realms products I enjoyed like Faiths and Fantheons and Magic of Faerun. He always seemed to have a fair take on most rules allowing characters to have power, while at the same time putting some limitations on abilities.
Then again this seems more like "See you later". Sean always seems to get back to gaming books at some point. He must like the work to put so much into it.

Bummed to see Sean go. Been following his work since way back. Also love his politics and snark. Plus Jodi is hella cool too.
Good luck in Indiana sir. May the gods ever smile on your ventures.
Fare thee well.

Best wishes in the move and in Indiana, Sean and Jodi (I've only met Jodi in passing but send my best wishes). I'd make a list of favorite d20 products Sean has worked on, but it would be a long list. All of his Forgotten Realms work, his 3E website (his write-ups on the Greyhawk gods were great, like all his works on DnD/PF deities), all his Paizo work, his non-Paizo work, and some of the minis on his etsy store. I guess it's a short list.

I too want to wish both of you every success for the future.
It was Sean (amongst others) who took this fan boy and gave him the kick up the a** he needed to take designing seriously.
Sean's honesty coupled with his great love for the game and his audience clearly shines through everything he does, even his posts and more importantly his feedback on your work. I have no doubt that in the RPG Hall of Fame his name is there with Gygax and Arneson, and rightly so.
Learning, taking his feedback - Yes, it was painful, yes, it stung, A LOT, but he was always right on the money with everything he said, you just have to move past the feelings and look critically at what he advises.
I, personally, have grown so much through his advice and assistance found on these forums and on his own blog site. I am still learning to day because of him. I don't know if I will ever be an RPG Superstar (as Clark once said, I could never win that competition) but I have now had articles in three successive Wayfinder's including a whole mini adventure in the latest issue. That wouldn't have happened with out that kick in the pants. So thank's Sean, keep kicking.
I know we will see you posting in the forums, you care too much not to.
I know we will see more from you, as you said, you want to concentrate on your writing.
I have never had the pleasure of meeting you personally as I am on the wrong side of the pond, but if I can ever help you with anything at all, the offer is there, in thanks for all you have taught me over the last few years.
The very best for you and your lady in this new chapter of your lives.

Man, I feel like I got ripped off, I've only been a hardcore Pathfinder player for a few years! I can't count how many times I was bored at work and decided to look his ID to check how many trolls he put in their place on his post history!
Seriously though, Sean, thank you for everything you've done for my hobby. I really hope we continue to see you on the boards. From what the people who personally know you have said, I would love to meet you at a Con one day.

I, too, am really sad to see Sean go, as he was one of my favorite RPG designers. :(
I moved three years ago across the country in pursuit of new challenges, so I can understand their decision (and yet I miss my old home town every day!).
All the best in life, Sean and Jodi! As we say in Finnish: onnea ja menestystä teille molemmille! :)

Well it looks like I'm kinda late to this going away party.
Dear Sean,
You and I, well, we disagree a lot. But I want you to know I've always respected you. I hope everything in your life goes better than you hope for and you find all the things in Indiana you're looking for. Your contributions to these games I've spent thousands of hours enjoying are immeasurable and they do not go unappreciated.
Thank you,
Jack

While I'm here:
Seriously, if I can separate my game grievances with this man from my opinion of him as a person, then no one else has any excuse. Grow up. I'm almost ashamed at the level of moderation I'm seeing here.

Paizo employees are required to actually be at the office. Freelancers are fine to collaborate long distance, but being on the actual payroll requires working at their office.
Such is the Will of the Triops Queen. Those who would be Chosen must first join the Nest.

Paizo is actually a company with premises, warehouse, cubicles, coffee machines, raptor dens and toilets*, in case somebody believes it's just 5 guys knocking together PDFs in a basement.
* I'm not sure about those, can anybody confirm?
My understanding is interns can be used for just about anything... Not sure why they'd need toilets when they have interns.

Fair thee well, SKR.
I appreciate all if the hard work you have put into both this game, and in maintaining a presence on this forum.
You and your contributions will be missed.
Good luck and best wishes on wherever your life's journey shall take you and Jodi next.

Good luck Sean. The best thing I can say to you, is for years of my life, your work at paizo and elsewhere has contributed to me and my friends having lots of fun together. Thats about as great a gift as you can give to anyone.
So thanks for all your work. I hope you find the peace and quiet you desire in Indiana and continue to do great things as you sit in what I am imagining will be a quiet home on a farm somewhere, surrounded by bear traps that only activate on people who ask questions about armor spikes.

SKR, thanks for everything and good luck!
Soo... I noticed the word 'map' but I'm not seeing an actual one here. I'm kinda planning a political/revolutionary one-off game. I think I just decided who the BBEG and crowd will be. I'll just head over to my lair to stat the clowns.. I mean interns. The map would be appreciated, I suck at mapcrafting.

Paizo, Pathfinder and gaming in general will have lessened with your moving on to newer (and hopefully calmer) things.
I can absolutely appreciate the desire for a life outside the bustle of the city; it's the reason I work overnights.
And while I'm positive I had a clashing design philosophy on some aspects of gaming, it's that difference, and coming from someone so stridently unafraid to oppose, that I'll miss the most.
I love having my thoughts, fears and ideas challenged and proven wrong, if only in that it incites my own personal growth.
A big thanks to all the huge contributions, and a hope we will still see some of your work our way.
Best wishes Sean!
