I was wondering if anyone would be interested starting either a Pathfinder or Star Wars Saga Edition play by post campaign. I recently bought the core rulebooks for both games and am interested in trying one or the other out. I don't think I would want to GM, I'm relatively new to these games.
Let me know if you're interested in playing, or perhaps GM-ing!

I think when it comes down to it, I just am not currently getting as much game time in as I would like. I short, I am very interested in getting a PFRPG game happening (perhaps I should make my own thread...).
Excellent! PM if you do. I look forward to potentially gaing with you :)

Play by post has a lot of things to offer it. I find it easier in some ways than F2F but is much slower, and leads itself to more RP focused.
As someone who's run a couple of several-year-long Play-By-E-Mail games, I can attest to this. The games were (and are!) great, but keeping everyone on track and maintaining momentum can be a hassle that who ever GM's should be aware of. I personally have a "if you don't post at least once a week, we skip you" rule in my games to help counter this.
Depending on the format, time-frame, and game type, I might be down for playing. :)

Even if I don't end up playing, I'd like to offer up my bundle of house-rules and fiddly bits from the Star Wars D20 Thread that turned into a Star Wars Saga Thread as a thinking point.
Everything on that has gone through a couple of years of rigorous playtesting and discussion and generally works quite well, I assure you.

Of course, whoever GM's is completely free to ignore this suggestion. :)
