Okay, before I read any of this....I just want ya'll to know that I already discussed things with Henry. Now, that my eyes have turned Amber in color....would anyone like to try and guess what I'm feeling right now?
All I can say...is wow. Just wow....No Skaar, we don't blame you for following along with someone else who just thinks she knows what she's doing...but there were people with REAL information if anyone had bothered to ask. That's what Arista's upset about and the fact that you put yourselves at risk when there are more important things to be concerned with. LOL Well, my night at work was okay...laughed...ALOT. I had two nurses who had 5 patients each, but they were great at helping me out and I love them. They even have a tech that comes in at 4am and he helps with the lab draws, baths, basically anything we need help with. Yeah, I'm still sore and stuff, but it was a good night. One of my nurses...Matt, he was MY nurse when I was on the neuro floor after my brain surgery. Me loves him, he is such a caring and compassionate nurse. A FINE example for all those other b$#~*es. Hehehe He was telling me along with Dot how I should be wearing support hose so my ankles dont swell so much and hurt so much. And he was all like, "Ya know, you should be more concerned with not getting a blood clot than looking cute." And ya wanna know what I told him? Huh, do ya?
I said *giggles* "It doesn't matter what I wear, I'm always cute." Heheheheheheheeh
To be fair though, it does look like I have a soft ball hanging out in my ankle, so they probably have a point. *le sigh*

I know...I'm a funny odd sorta duck.
So, Henry is trying to do this victorian, steam punkish kinda game...since I couldn't get my cyber punk fix and I'm making a vampire sorta chick, but I got this whole back story thing going....She's Romani gypsy, but taken in by count Doru. I'm a little over 200 years older than the other characters, so I gotta come up with alot of history. So far, I have them getting back to the Counts estate, but not much after. I'm trying to figure out how she comes to the realization of what he is, and how she is turned. It's not one of those power seduction trips, but that he fosters her need to be accepted and her thirst for knowledge. I'm just having trouble with some of the...finer details of it though.
Well thirst for knowledge is a big draw for immortality, all the time in the world to learn all the secrets.
Yeah, I'm kinda leanin toward he allows her the time to come to the realization of what he is on her own, since she's not an imbecile. And then he explains everything about it, the good with the bad and leaves the choice up to her.
*shrugs* That's kinda what I was thinking. I got a good look into her history before he showed up, explaining what type of life she had with her kin...not pretty. He just sort of....rescued her from all of that misery. She has a sort of relationship with him that develops over time, but it's one of respect, not lust or desire. She looks at him almost as a teacher, or some such....don't exactly have all the details nailed down yet. But she is very strong willed, intelligent, and naturally curious.
I just need to finish writing it out. Henry said that my eyes are duel colored now....hehe. Like diagonally...weird. In one way they are turning amber, and the other diagonal half is turning some type of blue. Like I said, strange duck.
I need to stay up a little longer so I can take a muscle relaxer for my back. Was doing some pretty heaving lifting last night....but at least I had help. >:o)
My wife has mood eyes as well, when we were going out I impressed her by being the first person to accurately decode them according to emotion.
yeah....*smiles sheepishly and blushes* Henry was the SAME way...he knows what my different eyes mean....sometimes it's kinda scary. Sometimes the eyes are attributed to...different...things. My hair is kinda the same way, due to all the different highlights in it. It will change color depending on different variables, but it's always unmanageable.
Yeah it's a very cool phenomenon.
Henry was the FIRST man I had EVER been with that recognized me for who I was and NOT what I was. It was especially scary because he could usually tell what I was feeling...sometimes before I even recognized it myself. He's the other part of my whole, the yang to my yin, and I just can't imagine my life without him, ever. Lol
I think I'm just weird.....it's hard looking at it as something good when you had been constantly belittled, ridiculed, and abused because of it.

I said it before and I'll sy it again, "normal" is boring. Who wants to live in someone else's neatly constructed box? All the most interesting and amazing people in history could be called weird. It's just a term used in an attempt to stamp out uniqueness.
*sighs* Yeah...I know...it's just...it was hard not being able to fit in that box...very very hard. When you looked like I did, and knew the things that I did...well, it just made life with my extremely hard nosed, Christian, Baptist, parents....well, hell really.
They didn't want unique...they wanted normal...and I...I couldn't be that, no matter how hard I tried.
They didn't want me being what or who...or whatever it was I was...but they let that abusive piece of s#!% into their house and never even called the cops when all the violent s#!! started happening. But that's the Temple City way ya know? Just cover it up, nothing to see here...oh nothing wrong ever happens behind our precious picket fence....that is why I didn't fit in, cuz I was wrong.
