Monte Cook, Skip Williams, Jonathan Tweet and Danny O'Neil team up to build a trickster god's Megadungeon.

The Grande Temple of Jing.

I backed this at the $175, so there will be one level co-written by me. So you know that's an incentive to back.

Grand Lodge

I'm in for GM 6: Completist.

Thanks for the link Dudemeister

Grand Lodge

In for the PDF and working on the front door.

I just backed this too, at the 50$ level.
Looks to be awesome!
Just backed the Pathfinder MMO too (at 15$ for the pdf of Emerald Spire, but still hope it can count)

Sovereign Court

$50 for a 150+ page megadungeon in hardback, plus a players guide and a few other cool things.

Written by those writers!

Sounds good.

Yep, I got in on this one, too. Looks like a great value.

I bought into this kickstarter faster than a down on his luck gambler grabs a cheap bottle of gin. $85 dollar level.

I'm in, I forget how much but I'm getting a few toys out of it.

I would love to hear what that experience is like, please let us know on the boards?

I will absolutely do that, I am excited to be included in any book with the legends of the industry listed above. It's a big responsibility!

I've just seen the new stretch goals (for $20k) and they include HL files, a new race and new fiction set in the Temple written by Dave Gross!

Very cool.

Backed at GM 3. Stoked to see a megadungeon with such pedigree writing it. Can't wait to see the finished product!

Just bumping this to remind folks that the book is now in Hardcover for no extra cost.

Now lets hit that 20k stretch goal (less than 3k to go) to get a story by the inimitable Dave Gross!

I was waiting for this kickstarter since last gen con when I visited the booth. It was supposed to happening October. When November passed I despaired. Anyway, good to see that it is on. I'm pledged for GM 5.

So this Kickstarter is not tiered, you do nto get what is listed in the levels below what you pledge. Interesting way to deal with it.

The Book itself does sound interesting though. :)

Hey Guys,
I'm relatively new in the world of freelancing, but I am excited to be an official part of this project. If you like any of my work in Pathfinder Society Organized Play, please consider backing this project so I can work on The Grande Temple of Jing!
Thanks,
Larry Wilhelm

To finish off the Kickstarter they've introduced a 'bring a friend' incentive.

Danny wrote:

Bring-a-Backer Program

Get a friend to sign up for the GTOJ and get free stuff! If you are a backer that chose a tier at the $35 or higher level, you can sponsor a friend that wants to join in. If they pledge $35 or more, then they can send us your name and e-mail to tell us that you sponsored them. Then BOTH of you will get free stuff!

If you and/or your friend took a digital package (like GM2) then whoever did gets a free PDF of their choice (The Tower of Jing or the Developer’s Guide). Each person can only earn one of these rewards in this way.

If you or your friend took a printed package (like GM4) then whoever did gets 10 custom Imajewels free of charge! These Imajewels are status tokens than can be used to track the condition of party members in your game. THIS REWARD IS CUMULATIVE for the person that sponsored the pledge up to 100 free Imajewels (we have over 100 Imajewel designs to choose from). So sign up some friends. And be quick! There’s only 2 days left!*

40 minutes to go...

Funded, along with all the stretch goals. :-D

Sovereign Court

Looking forwarded to seeing how this turns out.

Plus, fiction from Dave Gross and KAM!

Well this is good news. I look forward to seeing the completed dungeon as well as the other items included.

Hey, Dudemeister!

Any news yet? Where are you at: still icing the beers? Marinading the ribs? Or are the coals aflame?

Contributor

Oh man, I totally missed this! Is there any word on availability outside of the KS?

+1. Would love to kick in to get a copy of this one.

Sovereign Court

I sent an e-mail, asking Danny from Hammerdog Games:

Yes. It will be available for preorder on our website, hopefully soon.

Thanks for asking!

Been a while since there's been any discussion here...I received my copy of the finished product a few weeks back, and I've been slowly making my way through it. All in all it's brilliant at first blush.

Anyone else get a copy? I'm wondering about the timeline in the temple, and I don't feel as though I have a good understanding of how it's supposed to work. The relationship between solar days and Jing days seems clear enough, mostly, but what's not clear is the whole "the timeline starts at midnight on Jing Day 1 when the characters enter the temple" piece. So, how does that affect people already in the temple? And does the passage of time SEEM consistent to those in the temple? Meaning, although they last longer in terms of solar days, does each Jing day feel like a single, 24-hour day? So the relationship between being internal to the temple and external is that more time passes outside - namely 28 solar days for each Jing week. Or do the players in the temple experience each Jing day as increasingly longer?

I'm sure other aspects of this work will also raise questions for me, hopefully some of you may have insights if you've picked up and reviewed this product.

I backed it. I'm mostly waiting for a map pack to go on sale so I can run it more easily in Roll20.

For my campaign, I'm breaking up the temple into different dungeons as I found the solar/jing day thing rather confusing. For the moment, they are acting as optional areas to explore for loot (and some additional storyline) regarding to Jing. Very sandbox game and the playfulness of Jing has made for a very different encounter than they were expecting.

Thus far the party has just completed the Trial of Copper last week and they -loved- it. They got really tripped up by the one trap in there, but managed to get around it. It was just a really fun time for everyone.

I'm still waiting for mine.

Are you a PDF backer? You should contact Danny via the kickstarter messaging system.

I got mine Saturday and it is damaged and he won't respond to my message even to say too bad it has separated from its cover and ripped in half fix it yourself.

I am still waiting too

I got the book the other day, but boy, this was one of the worst kickstarters I've ever been a part of. What I have read so far seems good, but I can't say I'm a huge fan of Danny right now.

Danny just helped me get my PDF after a couple of weeks of working on an issue with my PDF code not working.

Anyway, if you did get a copy of the book, I'd love to know what you think of the Stinking Ziggurat of Jing (Area 2.4). It's my first published work and is a pretty sandboxy dungeon compared to other levels.

I'm still waiting for mine too, though his last update did mention that there was some kind of snafu with the higher tier rewards, what they contained, and when they shipped. So I'm trying to be patient.

I wrote the (idk what its called in the book now) Slime level. If anyone has any idea which one it is and has read it, I'd love to hear what you think. I'm worried about what has been done to it since I sent it in...

I was in contact with him last week and I am one of the folks that was in a problem pile. I knew what the problem was, I bring it up to you all cause something similar may apply to those of you that have not received your items yet depending on the situation.

Yay! Mine arrived safe and sound in Europe at the new address.

If you need to contact Danny try the hammerdog games websites contact form. I got through to him there about an address change in the nick of time...

Sovereign Court

Lucky you. but hopefully, I should not wait too long

Sovereign Court

Still waiting.

I'm European, and backed for a print copy.

Sovereign Court

I got it just after my message.
Seems like a great book
