Well met! I am the comrade of Doomcrow who spoke highly of the Keepers of the Circle - merely from the literature I have seen here. Apparently he took me so seriously and beat me to the act of offering my sword and loyalty.
I have already pledged a fair amount at the Crowdforger + add-ons, and was looking to be part of a guild that had similar outlooks as my own towards good and community.
I have interests in two character - which thanks to pledge will skill-up concurrently
1) Sir Kicley - a warden protector paladin of sorts (though I know the system will be class-less) devoted to defending the weak and innocent.
2) Frostrazor - an Ulfen nomadic wilderness warrior sell-sword type, without a clan looking a for a home and community worthy of calling home; designed for exploration and slaying monsters.

The Wild Ring of Wood
When looking upon a map, there are cities, rivers, roads, bodies of water, forests, etc. There are also certain areas marked “Danger! Keep away” and what’s more, there are areas not marked at all. Blank edges of the maps, uncharted lands. This is the home of those that reside within the Ring of Wood. Men and women unafraid to brave the unknown, unafraid to pioneer voyages into these unmapped areas, and unafraid to face the horrors that lurk in the unknown shadows.
There isn't much structure to the Ring of Wood. It’s members are scattered and as wild as the animals they walk with. The thing they share tough is their blood as brothers and sisters of the Ring, and their duties as children of the Ring. Just like an artist, a Keeper of Wood may dabble in all of the arts but there is the one art form that is their forte. Scouting, animal training, herbalism, hunting, and defending the Circle, these are all duties of a Keeper of Wood.
Striders are members of the Ring of Wood that spend the majority of their time walking the land. Striders explore and venture about, memorizing the land as if it were the back of their hands. The eyes and ears of the Circle, reporting any unusual activity to their Guardian. They are the scouts of the Ring and of the Circle. The ones who can get in and out of an area unnoticed but they may not always be traveling alone. Striders are also the primary escorts to those who do not know the way through the wilderness. Striders act as guides and help others into and through hot zones. (Addressed as “Strider”.)
Whisperers are a unique set of individuals. They consider themselves equal to animals not better or superior to them. They prefer to comfort and speak to animals rather than whipping them into shape or submission. Understanding the ways of nature is their way as well. They study animal and plant behavior and use that knowledge to coax hostile creatures out of the Circle’s territory rather than always resorting to killing the encroaching creature. They use their knowledge to train animals for other Keepers, no matter what Ring the other Keeper belongs to. Herbalism and plant lore are also talents that a Whisperer may possess. Whisperers typically have an animal companion they travel with. (Addressed as “Whisperer”)
The Wolf Pack is the hunting force of the Ring of Wood. Predators by nature and master trackers, they hunt game to provide the Ring with food. But their skills are also called upon when a quarry arises. If anything needs to be tracked down and put down, whether it be a humanoid or a ferocious monster, nothing escapes the Wolves. Tales have been told, in hushed voices, about the Wolves and their howl of pursuit. Fleeing from the Pack is always a futile attempt. They practice the “Old Ways” by consuming the hearts of fallen quarries and therefore believing that they are consuming the creature’s essence. Most only consume the heart if they are deemed worthy enough of consumption but radical Wolves consume the heart of every kill. All Wolves wear a cloak made from the pelt of a Dire Wolf with the head of the wolf being the hood. (Addressed as “Brother” or “Sister” by Pack members and as “Wolf” by all others.)
Not all Keepers of Wood have to fall into one of the above “unofficial” categories.

This is Frostrazor!
Interesting - this character is fashioned after my all-time favorite pen&paper character that I played for a few years in 3.5. He was a barbarian/rogue.
But what's interesting is his backstory was that he was of the "Frostwolf" clan. And he wore the pelt of a Winter Wolf that he killed as a Right of Passage and wore the head over his chest piece.
Then reading about the wolves - it seems it was meant to be.
Thanks for the nudge. Other than Doom Crow I have already told 5 other people who are interested in PF MMO about KotC. I'm hoping to entice them all to join. They are all dear friends (one is actually my aunt).

Raythos, there are a few in the Ring of Iron, with others thinking of it as a secondary option, but we certainly can use more with Iron as their primary focus. I strongly encourage you to wander on by our forums and see just how awesome the Ring of Iron people are so far.

Welcome to our new folks. For all that might have an interest in the diplomatic and mercantile aspects of life, we have been working to draft the sub-charter for the Ring of Gold. I present it here for general information of possible Keepers.
Sub-Charter: Ring of Gold
The individual rights of all sentient beings are sacred to the Keepers of the Circle. Fundamentally, contracts show respect for those rights. Keepers of Gold are those who engage in mercantile transactions on behalf of the Keepers as well as those who represent the diplomatic arm of the Circle. Keepers of Gold are known for strictly adhering to their contracts, for providing information to the Circle, and for maintaining positive relations with other groups and nations.
Section I: Hierarchy
As with the overall Circle, individual freedom and empowerment is seen as critical to accomplishing the purpose of the Ring, thus the Ring of Gold is specifically organized to avoid multi-layered, cumbersome bureaucracies. The Guardian of Gold, known within the Ring as the Principal Mediator, guides the entire organization and serves as the final arbiter of disputes that cannot be resolved at a lower level. The Principal is assisted by three Chief Officers, each in charge of one major interest for the Ring of Gold:
- The Chief Merchant supervises all mercantile matters, including the establishment of shops within Circle territory or by Circle members, the provisioning of caravans to properly benefit the Circle, and the monitoring of market prices to ensure Circle merchants are competitive.
- The Chief Representative directs the diplomatic efforts of the circle by coordinating official representation in foreign territory and sending appropriate emissaries to lands or groups that do not yet have formal ties with the Circle.
- The Chief Financier oversees the financial needs of the Circle through the establishment of banks, coordination of investments to support projects of other Rings, and management of income/expense records and planning.
The majority of the Ring of Gold, made up of Keepers and Wardens, serve one or more roles under the three chiefs:
- Envoy-Venturers are members of the Circle that routinely travel on trade and/or diplomatic missions. When present, Ambassadors and Consuls serve in leadership and advisory roles to Envoy-Venturers in their assigned territory.
- Mongers are members of the Circle that maintain shops with inventory for sale. Mongers cover all sales not otherwise provide by another Ring in Circle settlements and may also provide these services to other Rings. In Circle settlements, Mongers look to the Chief Merchant for support and guidance. In foreign territory, Ambassadors and Consuls serve in leadership and advisory roles to Mongers in their assigned territory.
- Mediators are officially recognized representatives of the Circle empowered to provide impartial conflict resolution and contract negotiation services. Mediators report to one or more Chiefs, depending on their favored area(s) of arbitration.
- Bankers are officially recognized representatives of the Circle that run banks and coordinate other individual investments. These services are centralized under the Ring of Gold, but may also be provided to other Rings upon request. Bankers report to the Chief Financier.
- Consuls are officially recognized representatives of the Circle that live in another area and provide diplomatic/trade support for the Circle to the locale. There may be more than one Ambassador per location, if the size of the location warrants such. Consuls ultimately report to the Chief Representative, with an Ambassador (when present in the Consul’s location) serving as Prime Consul.
- Ambassadors are officially recognized representatives of the Circle to other groups, able to make binding decisions for the Circle with that group. They also provide diplomatic and trade oversight for their assigned territory. There is never more than one Ambassador per outside group to avoid confusion of authority, although in times of need one Ambassador might be assigned to multiple groups. Ambassadors report to the Chief Representative.
The Principal, Chiefs, and all Ambassadors, Consuls, Bankers, and Mediators must be Wardens in the Ring of Gold. These members hold official letters of accreditation detailing their authorized duties. Envoy-Venturers and Mongers must be Keepers and comply with directives from the Chiefs (generally the Chief Merchant and/or Chief Representative) but are otherwise
Section II: Other Rings
Crystal – Provides enchanted items and spell casting services for sale, as well as magical support and protection to shops, caravans, banks, and consulate/chancery facilities. All knowledge acquired during trade and diplomatic efforts is shared with Crystal for archival.
Earth – Gold works closely with Earth to ensure funding is provided for construction, maintenance, and expansion of Circle holdings and infrastructure.
Iron – The primary source of goods for sale in shops and stocking caravans. Gold works directly with Iron to ensure profitability, planning for shifts in production to meet local and foreign market demand.
Light – Direct partners in providing mediation and arbitration services, with a role similar to Crystal in magical support and protection of shops, caravans, banks, and consulate/chancery facilities.
Shadow – Provide covert protection of shops, caravans, banks, and consulate/chancery facilities, especially in foreign lands. Intelligence gathered by Shadow may affect mercantile planning. All knowledge acquired during trade and diplomatic efforts is shared with Shadow for proper use in defending Circle interests.
Steel – Provide overt protection of shops, caravans, banks, and consulate/chancery facilities.
Wood – Scout out new caravans routes and potential diplomatic opportunities. Provide mobile support and protection to caravans and other envoy-venturers.
Section III: Missions
Ultimately, all Ring of Gold members are both diplomats and merchants that can be called on for mediation. Individual Keepers and Wardens may pursue one aspect more than the others, but the skills for each are very cross-dependent.
The Ring of Gold maintains shops in all Circle settlements, and in other settlements when possible, for any goods that are not represented by other Ring members interested in direct sales. This approach ensures all Keepers and Wardens are free to pursue non-mercantile interests while still realizing a greater return on crafted, enchanted, or otherwise acquired goods. In the event that a Circle member outside the Ring of Gold desires to manage a shop, the Ring of Gold works with that member to ensure detrimental competition does not occur and market information is provided to ensure success. The Ring of Gold also works with other Rings to establish profitable caravans, trade ventures, and standing trade routes.
Through Ambassadors, Consuls, and Envoys, the Ring of Gold serves as the diplomatic corp for the Circle. This group ensures official relations with entities remain positive, establishes new trade agreements, non-aggression pacts, and alliances, and provides a first response in conflicts in an attempt to avoid unnecessary clashes. Mediation services are also available to anyone seeking resolution to contract disputes.
With their insight into fund utilization and a broad view of what all Rings can offer, the Ring of Gold bears ultimate responsibility for all Circle funding needs. The Ring of Gold must ensure adequate funding for all recurring Circle-wide costs, generate funds for new projects, and secure appropriate savings for emergency situations. Other Rings may, of course, maintain their own specific funds if desired, but the Ring of Gold stands ready to serve this need on request.

What is all this posting you say? Why is this Erian fellow blabbering on about these Keepers? Well, my purpose is two-fold really...
Firstly, as a recently recognized Warden of Gold within our group, I am eager to establish dialogue with others. I fully realize discussions for many topics will have to wait for some time, but when need arises you now know how to contact us.
Secondly, with time ticking away on the Land Rush I truly want to ensure general players have the best opportunity to see available guilds and throw in support. So, anyone I could find on the first three pages got a bump! Obviously, I would personally hope for folks to join the Keepers, but I also know our group is not for everyone.
Ah, and of course for any groups I may have missed that wish to open up formal discussions with the Circle, our Chancery is now open (registration is necessary for posting.

I have heard of your great guild from my good friend Hark and wish to join in building a great place for many to prosper and i would humble request the position of warden of earth if you would have me. I would like nothing better than to build great infrastructure of towns, roads, farms, mines, and building of any kind. As such is my passion in this life, but make no mistake I will be equally strong in my sword arm as I am in strong in my mind.

Greetings Keepers of the Circle,
Recently your Warden of Gold dropped by our recruitment thread as a representative of your CC.
I just wanted to drop by and say how impressed I have been with the recent growth of your organization, and have great hopes for this company in the future.
Aeternum always welcomes friendly talks, and we hope that our peoples can in the future find favorable deals to benefit us both, and the Golarion as a whole :)
Any of your officers and representatives are welcome to sign up for our forums at www.paxgaming.com. Once signed up just send Dak a personal message and I will assign you the ambassadorial rank of "Friends of Pax"
I expect my Ambassador, Ezekiel Krow will also be by this thread and your forums soon. If you are interested in a place to lay down a settlement in a kingdom we might have much to speak on. We are committed to honest, clear terms that are favorable for all parties.
Congratulations Keepers, Fourth on the leaderboards. Let no one second guess the depth of your dedication. Aeternum certainly isn't :)
High Thane Dak,
The Kingdom of Aeternum

I think your circle would be a great home for this wandering ranger of the woods. I am very interested in your rings of steel, shadow, and wood. I offer my blades and bow to your service. What say ye?
I have not fully developed a name for my character yet, but I ampartial to my long time name of Shadowmyst. I do very much like your charter and am willing to help out in anyway I can for the guild. Currently I am deployed, but am able to get on the internet every couple of days. I thank you for your time and consideration.

I come by way of friendship, invited to learn of your Circle.
*nods toward Robert*
If my old friend plans to make his home within your borders then I could eaisly see myself doing the same. I am afraid I do not know much about myself yet... I have walked Galarion, and other realms, in many forms and incarnations. Time will tell what form I will take when I stand beside you, but I look forward to meeting myself. ;)
I have not secured msyelf a place of early access... but I expect, early or not, that the world will be there when I awake.
Edit: I forgot to mention, I am interested in several of the rings... but I am thinking a certain aspect of me may find the Ring of Shadow most fitting.

Greetings Keepers, I like the cut of your cloth. Having found myself committed to spending at least a year and a half in the wilds of the River Kingdoms, I have been looking for a band with which to lend my spear. Though a dedicated servant of Iomedae, I have found the more militant-focused orders a little too... zealous for my tastes, and as one of those frowned upon as "Forlorn" by those of my race, associations unduly focused on the traditions and interests of the Elves bear even less interest for me.
I am Dame Vayne dIr, and I will add my spear to your Circle of Steel if you will have me.

Hi I am interested in joining, I have been playing MMO since DOAC and in most games I spend a lot of time crafting(normally ending up a top crafter), but I PVE a lot also I would say I am 70/30 PVE vs Crafting.
But with destiny twins I will have one PVE/PVP character and one Crafting Character. Early On I plan on leveling my PVE near my Crafter location to defend his camp(if I read the game play Correctly).
So count me in.
