Much like the AP thread, post your ideas for modules here!
My own:
Darkmoon Vale - The Varisia of the modules line has been neglected since PF rules. Let us go back with a new story there that can also be used as a sequel to the previous modules.
Insane Asylum -Something horror for autumn, pref by Logue and/or Pett, exploring a Kirkbride style/Shutter Island asylum.
Underdark - Not much has been done with the darklands since Second Darkness
Viperwall - nuff said

I've wanted a war/Heroes of Battle module for quite a while now and with the shift from 32-page modules to 64-page modules, I think that's a perfect opportunity for such a module. I'd prefer for such a module to focus on Mendev/Worldwound but Belkzen/Lastwall might be a great setup as well, as might Linnorm Kingdoms/Irissen.
More Ustalavic horror is another thing I'd really really like to see in the not to distant future. And if such a module was to include a proper insane asylum, Paizo would hear no complaints from me.
Osirion is third on my wish list.

Are you not aware of Reign of Winter (Irrisen) and Wrath of the Righteous (Mendev/Worldwound), the two APs scheduled for 2013?

Yes but what I'm talking about is not just a module taking place in either of the nations. What I'm hoping we'll see is a module in which an actual war is a major backdrop for the module. A module in which the heroes take active part in the battle(s), much like the D&D 3.5 supplement Heroes of Battle suggests.
From what I've read of the product descriptions for Reign of Winter, there's not really a whole lot of war going on between the Linnorm Kingdoms and Irissen (which is what I'm suggesting).
As for Wrath of the Righteous, it's my understanding that parts of the first installment take place in Mendev before the rest of the adventure path moves into the Worldwound and the Abyss itself. I don't get the impression that war is a major component. It's certainly a backdrop in the sense that the Mendevian Crusades are there but it's my understanding that they won't take center stage at all after the first installment and we won't get much of a Heroes of Battle experience.
Maybe I misunderstood some of the information that's trickled out about the Wrath of the Righteous adventure path. If so, yay!

My module wish list:
Location-based Modules:
Osirion
Quadira
Nidal
Five Kings Mountains
Kyonin
Lands of Linnorm Kings / Realm of Mammoth Lords combo
Razmiran / River Kingdoms combo
But of greater interest would be themed modules:
1. The Heist - a bona-fide infiltrate & steal the object where the PCs have to gather intel on the location to case the joint, and then run the heist
2. War - as adventure, not backdrop
3. Sandbox/exploration (Kingmaker lite)
4. Thieves Guild/Gang - underworld-themed module. PCs choose a side in the conflict. Sidebar/appendix for running the module from the side of The Law.
5. Arcane Academy module - Yeah, I'd love a module that take players through their graduation year from Korvosa's Acadamae.

I'd like to see a module set in the Realm of the Mammoth Lords. Alkenstar also seems like good module fodder. Arcane Academy is also awesome; I might be bored with an Acadamae AP, but a module would be awesome.
Perhaps some modules that take place over time, rather than one open/shut scenario. With 64 pages, I'd like to see a module that could amount to a mini-AP. To illustrate my meaning, maybe something similar to the AP issue Howl of the Carrion King. The article on the Brazen Preaks provided plenty of fodder for action set around the area, and the re-building of Kelmerane is expected to take a year. I'd also like to see a module that assumes certain things about the PCs. We Be Goblins went so far as to assign pre-gens, and I don't dislike that. I think there are certain areas that are more organically explored with certain assumptions. A Realm of the Mammoth Lords module that assumes the PCs are members of one of the barbarian tribes would feel much different that a module that keeps itself arbitrarily open for any kind of PC to play, like a Pathfinder Society mission set in the Realm of the Mammoth Lords.

Environment themed modules, where the location plays a significant role, not just in the "Ok you're in a swamp, here's two encounters with swamp monsters, and... we're done, you arrived to the dungeon".
Sort of River into Darkness on steroids.
Swamps, mountains, deserts, rivers, forests, etc. Face the great outdoors and its denizens, not just the denizens in the relevant outdoors.
Also different themes. Intrigue more than combat. A dungeon made of logical puzzles and traps (remember the old Challenge of Champions adventures in Dungeon Magazine?). War, both large field battles and guerrilla style, against a capable enemy.
Areas left untouched by sourcebooks and APs, such as the Realm of the Mammoth Lords, Nirmathas, Druma, Geb...

Wreaking more relics of Kazavon.
An adventure involving transporting a fire beast's heart from inside a volcano to the Plane of Water & feeding it to a kraken.
More one-offs in Tian Xia, including one where the PCs begin in Kaoling, preferably as hobgoblins.

Something with the same level range as Dragon's Demand, but with the characters all members of an organization from the faction guide. This would allow the module to be a campaign starter, sort of like how various products in the Campaign line have the outlines of adventures or campaigns.
Lord Gadigan |
My current list:
1. Modules taking place major planes other than the material plane.
2. Modules set on the other planets in Golarion's system.
3. Modules set in the vaults of Orv.
4. Modules set in Tian Xia.
5. Modules above 15th level.
6. A module that has to do with Kytons.
7. A module entirely devoted to Viperwall.
8. A module relating to the Jistka Imperium.
9. A module set on the Crown of the World.
10. A module set in Nex or Geb.
For 1-4, I'd prefer modules that are fully set in one of those places rather than ones that involve only going for part of the module or hopping between a bunch of different planes/planets/vaults/countries.

Lately I've been thinking a lot about kytons, and I keep coming back to the thought that the 64-page format is an excellent format for a module delving into the kytons and how they interact with mortals in Golarion.
So, a module focusing on kytons is very high on my wish list, preferably set in either Nidal or Ustalav.

I would totally be down for Hellraiser, Pathfinder style.

Enough with the goblins for RPG Day this year! I suggest a kindly turn in direction which should please at least one specific person with the chance to open the joy to many others in the world.
We Be Flumphs! There should be no need to explain what this LG take on the already popular We Be series would involve as it almost writes itself. Who wouldn't want to embody a flumph in the quest to assist the locals against an approaching evil from the Dark Tapestry.
Flumph plush to follow.

A module set on Akiton, inspired by A Princess of Mars.
An adventure that emphasizes intrigue and stealth over fighting.
A module set in Riddleport that involves the Cyphergate.
A module set in Galt that involves the latest round of the Red Revolution.
An expedition to Hollow Mountain.
An expedition into the Mobhad Leigh.
And I'll second Coridan's suggestion of Viperwall!

Much like the AP thread, post your ideas for modules here!
Yes, please do!
The schedule may or may not put me in a position to do anything with these ideas for quite a while, and we'll never get to everything, and there are always other factors at play when outlining adventures, but I am reading the thread!

Wuxia and horror blend in Shenmen.
A mod that can support an evil party in Kaoling.
Awesome Elves in Jinin, as:
Part I: The Ayajinbo Auidara
Part II: Once Upon A Time In Sovyrian
Goka Or Go Home!
Soil Stained Blood Red, as:
Part I: Infiltrate Galt's Maze of the Open Road
Part II: Arl's New Gods of Old Azlant, though Go Ka or Go Home would be OK too.
While the Truce Lasts, an adventure down the flood road of Belkzen.
Seriously, a tie-in to the Faction Guide and or/idea books like your book of artifacts or lost cities/kingdoms.
Sissyl |
A module set on Hermea. Not necessarily to "solve the problem there".
A capstone for the Darkmoon Vale adventures, where a decision is made on Falcon's Hollow's future.
Anything else in Andoran.
A module set in or dealing with Kyonin. Or Jinin, for that matter.
Stuff set in Riddleport.
Anything written by Nick Logue.

While Wrath of the Righteous handles some of this need, a Belkzen/Lastwall adventure could be fun. A big war module ala Lord of the Rings, with armies of orcs and the PCs facing orc troops at the end.
Start off in a city under seige, defending against the onslaught. Then escape, marshalling troops for a counter attack. Follow up with some mass combat to open a gap for the PCs to break through and kill the warlord uniting the orc tribes. The Friendly Lich |

A module about shutting down the Chapel of Rent Flesh.
It could be the adventure about Kytons we've all been waiting for - and it would be the perfect tie-in module for Iron Gods.
