Hmm, if only Obrist could somehow get Mirror Image to effect his suits of armor...
I agree about Obrist being low-enough level to be useable. The high level characters (Helegur, Yiankun, Seregon etc.) are all fantastic, and they've been so well built one would be hard pressed to find out who is and who isn't mythic if one were to describe what each person was capable of.
Other characters, like Obrist, have a bad ass mechanic to them, but are low enough level that they could be useable.
A 20th level/Tier X Helegur, won't really make an appearance in a game, except as a background character, or the end of a high level game. Obrist, as an 11th level/Tier X character could appear as a Boss for a mid level game and can be leveled up to maintain a threat against the party. He also fits into worlds better as an NPC for GMs.
Someone like Helegur is hard to introduce to a party and have any merit in the campaign, without bringing up questions like "Why does she need us to do this, if she is so much more powerful than us?". Not only that, the presence of someone like Helegur in a region is kind of a game changer. She commands great power over politics and events in a region simply by being present. Plus, any other suitably powerful people will be slightly on guard due to her presence, just out of necessity.
It'd be like you owning a tank and deciding to take it for a drive. Sure, there's nothing illegal about it, but every single person's eyes will be watching you. Especially law enforcement. In context, you could also own an armored HMV, and no one would really pay too much attention, although they'd probably notice it.

The new art gallery is not just limited to heroic portraits, oh no. It is a fair bit more comprehensive. :D
Got a chance to sit down and look through some of your art collection. I'm sitting her thinking to myself, "This guy needs a medal. Awesome characters, and an awesome collection of art? Ravingdork is an RPG Hero!"

Why Obrist should be Mythic? His concept already seems mythic. A guy with crafted armors and he justs gets more and more as his gold increases that act as his personal army. THats pretty mythic already. Plus if you eventually give him still/silent spell he can stand back and cast surround by copies thus unfindable if need be I believe.

Yes but they are not terribly expensive. As he gains more levels(not even necessarily mythic) he could theoretically create more and more clone armors...correct?
MOstly I was saying the eventual army of back up armors would be 'mythic' by itself, not necessarily pathfinder rules mythic.

My Skydrive files have been reorganized somewhat, so as to make things easier to find (allowing you to better differentiate between NPCs and monsters, PCs, PFS-compatible characters, and the like). I've also moved the art fodlers over to the Crazy Character Gallery so it's all in one nice spot for all to enjoy.
What's more, the character, Vallairs, has been completely overhauled. Among many other things, she is ten levels lower--now a fearsome low-level hunter of the underdark rather than a high-level boring-as-drying-paint-vanilla-druid.
Coming soon: The eventual relabeling of all the files to include race, level (or CR where appropriate), and brief one or two word character descriptions.

If you all would please be so kind to look at/download The Raven King, you will see a new PDF format that I am trying out. Among other things, it makes for fuller pages and better PDF bookmarking.
Tell me what you think. I hope to use this new format on the other characters more over time.

I really like the new layout. Doesn't seem to different other than a bit easier to read though...
It's nearly identical in appearance. The section bars are spaced slightly wider, and there are fewer page breaks, reducing the amount of negative space. You should see them in DOCX format. I can click on a section header (such as the character's name or "DEFENSES") and have that section fold in on itself. In short, I can compress it so that it only shows the information I want.
I've also converted everything into styles, so if I want to later change how all of the bold "form entry" areas look, I can do so for ALL of the character sheets in mere moments (or at least I will be once I get them all updated to the new format).
Using style section headers also makes for some nifty bookmarks when I convert them to PDFs too.

EsperMagic: Why? There is nothing in Inner Sea Magic that indicates that Thassilonian Sin Magic Specialist is an archetype. If anything, they seem to be alternate schools of magic, which is what I have it listed as on the character sheet. Choosing "Pride" as one's chosen school of magic is really no different then choosing "Evocation" or "Metal."
Malkier1923: You mean lightfoot? That's coming from her Cave Druid archetype.

I've updated Araonna Chorster.
In addition to utilizing the new character sheet template (allowing one to navigate her undead hoard more easily with PDF bookmarks) I have fixed her animate dead HD limit, reduced her giant bodyguards by two (refunding her for the expensive material components) and changed her Purple Worm "undead-craft carrier" to a Crimson Worm (which, according to the Purple Worm entry in the Bestiary, is a bigger version of the same thing)--essentially allowing me to add the giant template at no additional cost. ^_^

Welcome to my Crazy Character Emporium, brought to you by popular demand!
I make a lot of characters just for fun in my free time (roughly one a week, over a hundred currently sitting in my personal archive), many of which never get to see the light of day. Therefore, I decided to make this thread as a place where people can see all of my concepts, all of my builds, in one place.
It was originally my intention to sell them all in the form of a "PC Concepts PDF," but I'm afraid I don't have rights to sell much of the art that I use as character portraits, and I cannot afford to hire an artist to recreate them all. Not willing to produce a boring looking product without art, or let them all sit in the dark for eternity, I've decided just to let everyone see my work, as is stands, for free. Lucky you! Having this thread will also allow me to update regularly with new character ideas and corrections, something that I could not easily do with a standalone PDF product. It will also better allow you, the many fans who follow my work, to assist me in finding potential problems, such as typos or rule snafus that may need to be corrected. What's more, you can download only what you want or need, without having to slosh through a huge ungainly PDF.
Please feel free to use the following characters in your home games in whatever manner you wish (but please don't use them elsewhere, such as in your personal novel). All of my creations exclusively use Paizo's Pathfinder and Golarion Campaign Setting rule sets and assume a high fantasy campaign. They thus use the 25-point buy method for determining ability scores and a have 75% of the maximum variable hit points (4 for wizards, 7.5 for fighters, etc.), rounded up to the nearest hit point. They otherwise follow all of the standard rules of the game as I interpret them. None of these characters use any intentional house rules, though as with any complex game, please expect, and allow for, some leeway for interpretive...
I can't seem to get the links to work....

I've PM'ed you on the matter, Hobgoblin Shogun.
In short though, the older links in this thread are out-dated, have long since been abandoned, and may no longer function. What you want is the new link, which contains all of the characters (and other useful tools) all in one spot.

That is some cool stuff. I'm fairly new to pathfinder, but I've been having quite a lot of fun building characters myself. I'll see if I can use any of yours eventually.
Funilly enough, my first (and current) character is a dex-built version of your Obrist. He's full magus (and only level 5) but I'm also building him to craft constructs. He's also japan-themed, as my DM was generous enough to let me use the Katana with dervish dance, and I'm hoping to give him kikko armor soon enough.

Sorry for me being slow and not getting up the Characters... I got distracted with Campaign Designing and need to rework everything on theirr sheets...
I lost the PF versions and only have the 3.5 Versions... (Thank you Microsoft Guardian Anti-Virus!?!)
Also have you noticed that Skydrive seems to have been going down nightly here recently?

No. I've not once seen it go down. Are you certain it isn't a problem on your end?
Has anyone else experienced this?

Would someone be able to help me understand how Araonna Chorster can have so many HD's worth of undead under her control? I get that there is one zombie under the command undead FEAT, and that she can control up to 6 HD/lvl instead of 4 HD/lvl with the animate dead spell. By my count, she has 166 HD under her control (not including the one controlled by the feat), while she is lvl 15 and so should only have 90 HD.
It was my understanding that the caster level increases (i.e. varisian tattoo, spell specialization, spell perfection, and ioun stone) only apply to the HD of undead created, not undead controlled; mainly because they are temporary bonuses that apply to the spell as it is cast, but not your actual caster level which determines the Hard Cap Limit (maybe the ioun stone would still count though). Even the Undead Master Feat only specifies that it increases how many undead are animated.
I hope I am wrong, because I love the idea of her, and she is one of my favorite characters in this Emporium.
Regardless, thanks RD for all your awesome characters.

RavingDork, thanks for the list of random guys. They are pretty cool and far more creative than I could do, but I had a few questions (I tried doing some searching but 1k messages is alot)
For Magora, can she have a frog just assuming the DM allows it or is there a faq/errata stating it? I looked at the entry for beast rider and it seems to list out the mounts available and sadly frog isn't one (though I don't see why not, just wondering).
Also, you said you make about 1 guy/week, how do you go about making someone? Do you see something say hey, that looks cool, let's make a guy around it, or you think of a character concept and go from there? Also, how do you decide what level? I see folks range from 5-20.
PS. Commas are probably horridly wrong.

Why wouldn't they apply? They specifically increase the caster level of the spell, which is what the undead HD limitations (both for initial creation and maintained control) are based off of.
I see absolutely nothing anywhere that refutes that interpretation.
Regardless, thanks RD for all your awesome characters.
Now you've gone and filled me with warm fuzzy feelings. ^_^
For Magora, can she have a frog just assuming the DM allows it or is there a faq/errata stating it? I looked at the entry for beast rider and it seems to list out the mounts available and sadly frog isn't one (though I don't see why not, just wondering).
Allow me a small excerpt from the archetype:
Small-sized beast riders can choose a pony or wolf mount at 1st level. At 4th level, a Small beast rider can also choose an allosaurus, ankylosaurus, arsinoitherium, aurochs, bison, boar, brachiosaurus, elephant, glyptodon, hippopotamus, mastodon, megaloceros, riding dog, snapping turtle (giant), triceratops, or tyrannosaurus. At 7th level, he can also choose a dinosaur (deinonychus or velociraptor).
Medium beast riders can choose a camel or horse mount at 1st level. At 4th level, a Medium beast rider can also choose an allosaurus, ankylosaurus, arsinoitherium, aurochs, bison, brachiosaurus, elephant, glyptodon, hippopotamus, lion, mastodon, megaloceros, snapping turtle (giant), tiger, triceratops, or tyrannosaurus as his mount. Additional mounts might be available with GM approval.
Magora takes advantage of that very last line.
Also, you said you make about 1 guy/week, how do you go about making someone? Do you see something say hey, that looks cool, let's make a guy around it, or you think of a character concept and go from there? Also, how do you decide what level? I see folks range from 5-20.
I don't have a set method. Sometimes I am inspired to copy (or partially copy) something that I come across in the media or elsewhere. Sometimes I see a cool game mechanic or rules combination and think "how might I make a cool character around that?" Sometimes I start with the concept and ask "how can the mechanics be used to reflect this concept?"
