OK recruitment is officially CLOSED!

I will review the submissions and let you know who is the lucky winner. I will post here by Monday evening who the new character is, so keep watching here!

Thank you all for your EXCELLENT submissions!

Intense competition for that lone spot! Best of luck to all the applicants!

Lantern Lodge

I am all sorts of anxious.

Oh I do hope it's me. I certainly hope the best for all the rest of you as well, but this time, I hope it's me...

I keep telling 'Fancy' we need to get out more.

Gnomey wants the spot. Gnomey wants to burn a lot.

If Gnomey doesn't make it, light a torch in my honor.

Let the professional nervous time begin.

Is it Monday evening yet? I'm running out of fingernails!

It cannot be Monday evening. I still have too much in my inbox.

If you want you can borrow some of my fingernails?

Yes! Thankfully I'm much to busy to be nervous right now! :)

Sovereign Court

Good Luck everyone!

waiting has NEVER been my best feature *whistles*

barrows whatever fingernails Gnomey has left

Waiting had always been hard.

The cold sea air whipping across the deck of the Weathershade brings back memories of climbing through the Godswall mountains to one of the ship's crew. Leaning against the port side railing with his eyes set out to the sea, the lone half-orc aboard this sailing vessel thinks back to the trials of his youth. These memories and the stern voice of his master in the back of his mind brings the half-orc's hand up to a copper medallion hanging around his neck. His thumb brushes across the hammered metal surface, a black nail tracing the stamped writing in orcish on one side: "Ro'kun"; unrelenting force. The medallion is turned around, showing Minkan glyphs stamped on the opposite side: "Adagama"; forged by harm.

Ro'kun Adagama. His master found humor in giving this name to him, but it was one earned. The cold air serves as a reminder of each scar that earned this name, of each punishment for failure, and each lesson in victory.

Brows furrowed, he relaxes his fingers and lets the medallion fall from his hand. The ship rocks, pitching towards the aft and causing the half-orc to grip the railing to maintain his balance. Sea spray mists the air and the sailors above deck, their voices joining the cries of something else in the mid-day sun; sea birds. The call of these distant flyers means only one thing, the long wait is nearly over. Setting his eyes back to the horizon, Ro'kun braces himself again...

Not for the chop of the sea, but for what comes at the long wait's end.

Is this thing on? It is? Ahhh...OK. Well...wish me luck here. I have to break some unpleasant news to a whole buncha people...and they're all WELL ARMED! *Gulp*

Okay, Hi everyone! This is it, the big Reveal. Who will get the opportunity to join our intrepid heroes Ganer, Gared and Horven?

Seriously folks, this has been far TOUGHER than I thought it would have been when I first opened this thread. Your character submissions have simply blown me away. 15...15 great character submissions! WOW! a tough call even if I was recruiting for a brand new adventuring party!

I must be honest with all of you. I relied on my players to give me input as to who they wanted to join the group. After I closed recruitment, I had them vote on their top three applicants. I took their decisions quite seriously.

Now for all of those who did not get accepted, I can only offer an apology and a degree of sympathy. I have been exactly where you are right now, and I have been rejected before. If it was at all feasible, I would start two or more new games with all of you! Unfortunately I have RL to deal with, not to mention a bunch of other PbP I am in.

Anyway, I have decided to accept two applicants to the adventuring party. Without further ado, here they are:

  • Yamyra Anafa (Female Halfling Summoner) Irnk, Dead-Eye's Prodigal
  • Carmina Scarnetti (Female Tiefling Sorcerer) Old Mammoth

For those Lucky two players, please confirm you are ready to go in THIS thread.

Again for all of you who did not make it, I am sorry. I hope you all find games for your characters, and also do keep an eye out for future games I run here. I would love to bring your character aboard!

Again thanks to all of you for your submissions!

Ha, congratulations for the winning, miladies !

I'm sure you've got a fine adventure before you.

Me, I will continue to tread the plains of Varisia in search of opportunities and daring adventurers.

Have a good game :-) !

If anyone dies a hot, fiery death keep me in mind ;D

Good Luck^^

OMYGOSH!!! Thank you!

Edit: Is anyone else having issues accessing Paizo's Online Campaign message-boards? I just tried following the link DM Eric posted & it took me to a blank screen. I had the same problem a bit earlier as i was trying to check another Online Campaign.

@DM Eric: I will post on there as soon as I can get there. Something seems wonky right at the moment. I promised my son we'd see 'Wreck-it-Ralph' tonight, so it might not be until late or early tomorrow.

I had the same problem. Here is a link that works.

Yeah there was a bug detailed HERE. Should be fixed now.

Grand Lodge

I am looking to replace a player who has stopped posting in this Shattered Star AP. We have nearly completed the first module (Shards of Sin) and all of the other players are 4th level.

The other players are:

Horven Graveltoes, male Halfling Rogue,
Gared Naught, male Dwarven Monk
Ganer Jitesh, male Rakshasa Spawn Oracle (who has apparently gone missing)
Carmina Scarnetti, Tiefling (Demonspawn) Sorcerer,
Yamyyra Anafa, female Halfling Summoner (and her eidolon Fancy)

Ground Rules/Creation Guidelines

4th level.
No Evil characters.
All PF Core races and classes, plus the Featured Races in ARG (Chapter 2) on DM approval. Also the classes in the ACG are available on DM approval.
25 pt buy
2 traits
Average gold per level
Max HP at 1st level. Roll or use the PFS method for HP for the rest of the levels.
As for the character class, we are looking for a divine caster to bolster the party's healing capabilities. Feel free to check out the Game Thread.

This is NOT first come-first served. Recruitment will close on 9 pm PST Monday 10/6 .

Good Luck!

Grand Lodge

Bumping this thread to say the position of divine support is still open!

What is meant by average gold per level? Do you mean the value from the wealth by level chart?

I'm working on a druid who I hope might be a good fit with the group.

Dal, when I first petitioned for the Campaign, that was what DM Eric meant, yes.

Because you were the only player to respond so far to this thread, DM Eric started a new thread here. You might apply on that thread since I suspect that one is the one we will be checking.
