A family emergency had just arisen. I will be unavailable for the next little while. I hope to have everything resolved and to return in a week. I am sorry for any inconveniences this causes. Feel free to dmpc me as necessary.
I agree Family First. You will be missed. I promise to try and not kill off your character. Be safe. We look forward to your return.
How long would that take? The Craft Skill checks talk about manufacturing things in a week. Clearly the blanket is already made. Two rounds to gather the materials then a round to work each corner, so a minimum of six rounds. But then there would be the matter of wielding it afterwards (-4 penalty). I guess you could tie several stones in to each corner to get sufficient weight.

Well, as I have sling bullets, and a blanket, I think that a few rounds would be right but I might be able to reduce that to 5, as I have the materials.
Yes, was looking at weighting the corners, to help it fly.
As for the penalty, I think that would be appropriate. After all, there isn't a profiency called blanket. :)
The battle with Erylium is nothing short of a classic. You should read some of the threads concerning different party's struggle with this Tiny Demon. In my last ftf campaign, they did not have Enlarge, so reaching the Quasit was an issue. After two sittings, I allowed a modification to the Whip, as suggested by one of the players. Having played around with a Whip in my days, I knew that you could grab things with a Whip. So I permitted a long shot attempt using the Warchanter's Whip to Grab Erylium when she reappeared and within range. The player rolled a Natural 20, so I had no choice but to say that the player managed to Grab Eyrlium's ankle. That was about in the 25th round of the battle. They drowned her in the pool.

A it is a demon. Sorry not a person, a friggin demon. Elektra would have moral qualms murdering a goblin but this is a friggin demon.
B You do not kill it completly. You just send it back to the abyss. Maybe it looses status, but usually it is not completly dead.
C It is immortal. It is full of malice. Keeping it alive could have dire consequences.

I will not be able to post tomorrow, as I will be attending rememberance day, to remember my 13 friends, and 35 drinking buddies that did not return from Cda's commitment to afganastan.

I never got a chance to play in canada's sandbox, due to injuries, but I have raised many a wobbly pop in their honour, and memory over the last number of years.
I spent close to 5 years outside of canada on various missions, which really sucks at times. :)
And I thank you for the wishes. :)
As tedious as the current episode of emerging Uglies may be, it is actually the right thing to do. There is a significant bonus for silencing the pool. With Erylium's XPs, and the value of each Ugly, the party should be able to reach 3rd level once they finish exploring the Catacombs of Wrath.
Things are finished now, though not as I had hoped. I lost a major part of my life and as such, have had to reevaluate some peons of my life. I regret this, but I must withdraw from most of my campaigns, including this one. Thank you for the game and I hope it continues well for you.
It has been my honor to have you a part of this campaign. I understand greatly about priorities in our life. So I truly respect your decision. You will be greatly missed. You are an exceptional player. I am saddened that you are leaving us, several future plot points were being developed around your character. But truly Family comes ahead of such endeavors as these.
My hope for you is Shalom (Pease). And to follow David's lead, God Bless and hopefully our paths will cross again.

GM Mazra,
As much as I would like to say we can carry on.
I do not feel comfortable continuing without some means of healing.
So if you wish to open up recruitment for a healer, I will not object.
Lyr, once again, my best wishes to you and your family in this trying time.

I ... agree. RotR has a reputation for being quite hard. Without someone who could prevent the worst, especially with 3 melee, it will be rather difficult!
Then go ahead and role play out of the Catherdral of Wrath. It is a reasonable stopping point to allow us to open up recruitment. Personally, another Good Female Cleric would be ideal. I would like everyone involved. This is an opportunity for everyone to help pick who would fit in best with the party.
There is still a lot to explore down here, or did we head to the end battle early? If we decided to stay down here, then GMPC Lyr till we leave.
Either way, I would suggest opening the recruitment back up specifically for a divine caster, probably cleric would be best, and a Melee cleric at that.
There is more to explore. Both ways go through a door. The Statue is the choke point. Your party is banged up, and without healing. I think Lyr had one more Channel Energy and that's it. But ultimately it is the party's decision.
Part of the fun in this game is creating characters. I don't think we should be too restrictive of what characters are submitted. Ultimately, we will choose which character will be added to the group. Let players submit somewhat freely. I tend to look at the player more than the character anyway.

Just for clarity, the Cathedral is just the room you have been in. At the statue, which you can now surmise as being the Runelord Alaznist, this is the bottleneck. There is a door up the stairs to the East, and a door just to the North. Anything that could exist still in the Catacombs would have to past this point. Additional Guards could be brought to this point. They would need to be brave. ;)
