Nop...I live in San Antonio..

Maybe give it all to me at NTRPG Con and I will stick it all in my Car?... ;)

Frog God Games

The PDF is already available for those who contributed to the Kickstarter. I'm not sure when exactly it will be available through the Paizo store.

Random question to GM's who are either about to or are currently running running RA.

Were are you starting your campaign and what level?
Are you you starting your players out at level 1 starting at Zelkor's Ferry or at a higher level starting somewhere else?

I'm starting them at level 1, Zelkor's Ferry. Hopefully they pick up on the right clues and end up in the more appropriate area first. I don't want to hold back much, but I find myself with a couple of Brand New to Table Top Gaming players...

Ahh, so you're breaking them into the hobby properly? Excellent!

The Slumbering Tsar Saga was for sale before those who pre-ordered the books.

Because stores broke the street date.

There is absolute zero we can do about that.

In my experience most game stores don't know that there are street dates on RPG products. And the only company big enough to actually make them stick to them is Wizards, although I'm fairly certain they care more about Magic street dates than D&D ones.

I don't think that it's a matter of not knowing, but not caring because there's nothing that can be done about it.

They get the book they're going to sell it.

Now, I don't hold it against them at all, I just don't understand folks who don't get that and hold it against the publisher like there's anything we can do about it.

I've officially completed my final version of the Rappan Athuk review. As soon as the files go live here (an if you sell them via DTRPG, if I can get a coupon), I'll post it. :)

Bad business. Claiming ignorance of street dates and the whole practice of street dates is, at best, extremely lame. Anybody that has had a passing interest in books, can tell you of the concept of street dates. Bad business.

Just to be clear, I am refering to game stores that break street dates.

Bill, just in case you were refering to my comment, I was refering to game stores that break street dates.

As an aside, FGG has been awesome with customer service and quality books! Any hint otherwise is simply poppycock. :)

Kicking myself for not getting in on this kickstarter! There's been a lot competing for my dollars lately.

Kickstarter is kicking my ass. First this, then the Swords & Wizardry one...now there's even a Horror on the Orient Express one.

And the Reaper one. :/

My players will start at level 1, at the ferry... probably

but I have not decided how they arrive at the ferry in the first place... maybe on a boat along the river, or by the road from the north. It would help knowing the location of major cities around the Rappan Athuk area. Is it Bard's gate to the west/south-west? Maybe Endhome is north. Uhmm

Scarab Sages

As I'm also running Tsar, and one of the players in that game is going to be in RA, I've said his RA character can know (or even be related to) his Tsar game.
(Me and mentioned player may be co-DMing RA.. if so my character will I think will know one or more of the Tsar players)

Can anyone tell me how many pages the final product actually is?

Dark Archive

550, 672 with appendices, battle maps, backer listings, 16 orbituary pages and ads.

Scarab Sages

The Pathfinder PDF tops out at 672 pages.
The Swords and Wizardry PDF tops out at 496 pages.
So I'd guess the print product will be the same.

Reaper one is killing me right now. Though I sent it to a couple of my players and they signed on too.

Just saw the photo of the book.I thought that the pathfinder version was suppose to have a black cover and the swords wizardry a red cover. Is the pathfinder and swords and wizardry logos the only difference now?

Frog God Games

PF is red with gold and S&W is black with silver. We made an error in reporting the colors is all that happened.

Shadow Lodge

Hmm...just thought about that. Why's the S&W PDF red with gold, then?

Frog God Games

Because I made all of the covers with the same cover template.

lol; I know El--its really tough for just about everyone to totally predict delivery times--the dice are what is kicking our butts--otherwise I think I'll have it all w/ in 2 weeks of plan (end of August was plan). I am not optimistic about getting dice in <4 weeks though--and I hate missing deadlines.

hehe..delay is all you guys fault anyway (wink/smile) for ordering so darn many books!

Thanks again all; we greatly appreciate it.

Reaper is pretty spectacular at the $100 level--wow

Bard's Gate is roughly due north of Rappan Athuk. Haven't got the distances all pinned down yet, though. All will be included when we release our FGG/Necro campaign world in a year or so.

Is that going to be PFRPG and S&W?

Thanks Greg! I'll wait eagerly for the campaign world, of course! :)

What was the plan for the Rappan Athuk subscription if you didn't include it in your pledge?

Kickstarters got the subscription for $50, I think it was going to be $60 after the kickstarter

Dark Archive

Does the Pathfinder version of this have new art or does it still use the od versions?

What do we know (if anything) about the upcoming campaign setting....

Will it include ALL Necromancer/Frog God locations (CoF, ToA, HotRM, ST, RA), or just the latter?

Any ideas of size, format, name, etc? Come on guys, gice us something to keep us going...

Kevin-

there is some new art, mostly in the new levels.

Caen- Probably no way to give you any info on the campaign yet, mostly because if we start doing that, people will ask 10 times a day. The campaign isnt coming out for at least a year and a half, sorry. Greg is really tied up with a bunch of other projects for now.

Is there any word on when the PF Rappan Athuk will be available in brick and mortar or through the Paizo/FGG websites for those that missed the kickstarter)???

ET

Just my guess but the kickstarter copies are supposed to ship in late August or early September so I would guess the other shioments should go out around mid September.

Just my 2 cp.

Frog God Games

Late September/Early October...as soon as we ship to the kickstarters--Paizo had a few at Gencon is all

@Bill, Thanks for the clarification. As I said I was just guessing.
