I hope the request for shipping doesn't come this month. I am just a bit short after moving, buying RotRL Anniversary, and Rappan Athuk Kickstarter.

Yeah, keep telling us how hard you have it. :p

Skeeter, will we receive some kind of confirmation regarding our survey entries?

According to blondefrog, who is currently in the ether, and has limited connectivity to the mortal realms, we will try and summarize the orders in the paypal invoices for shipping costs.

If you dont use paypal for shipping.....we'll all figure something out. We appreciate everyone's patience with this; we're trying hard as we can to make this as smooth as possible. This is our first attempt with Kickstarter and such a massive response, and there are definitely some bugs to work out, but as many of you know, Bill and the Frogs will make it all right for you.

Yeah, heading to GenCon as well, Dragnmoon.

Too bad FGG’s presence will be pretty limited.

However, I look forward to meeting BlondeFrog!

Wow. Well done sir. I can only imagine what kind of a wringer you've been through this last week , since it sounded like there was a printer scheduling snafu that resulted in you having less time than originally planned.
Lol and I'm guessing that the legal appendix is not exactly the most exciting part of the project to work on either, but persevere, Chuck, persevere, I say! There is light at the end of this tunnel, sir!

Of course, that light is probably just the oncoming train that is all of the other pdfs that are coming out of the RA Kickstarter, but I digress...

Must....resist....urge....to ask if...pdf...will be sent to Bill...for upload to...Bytes Interactive...

<I'm actually gritting my teeth with the strain, but it turns out to be really hard to find an emoticon for that>

In all seriousness though, thanks for your hard work Chuck!

Just looked back through some emails, figured out this conversion/update/torture test started on Sept 24th last year. Almost 10 months to the day to get this monster out. Not quite the ordeal Vaughn went through, but a task (may even be known as a Trial).

In the last few hours, I really wanna thank Chuck, Bill, Dawn, Matt, Greg, The Rachel, John, Stefen, Greg (other Greg), Liz, Erica, Karen, Vance, Robb, Jen, Sarah, Stoney, T & E, Krista, Jillian & Johnny-Boy, John, Mathias, and Rob from Lone Wolf, and everyone at North Texas and PaizoCon. All you guys helped keep this book on the rails even when it didnt look like it, and all the effort is much appreciated.

I hope you like this book half as much as I love/hate it! lol

SG

I forgot a bunch of people. Ill buy you a beer.

I think that the part that I'm most excited to see (right now) is the town of Zelkor's Ferry. I'm hoping it has that 'Hommlet and Moathouse' feel before we get to the big daddy dungeon...

Hmm, I'm still anxiously awaiting how much money actually raised, but I spose that will have to wait until postage and the like is done... Too much waiting!

I've finalyl finished the legal appendix and triple-checking the names in the back of the book, got the adds in, my former page count did not include a couple of appendices so the final page count for the Pathfinder version of Rappan Athuk is 672 pages.

And it's uploading to the printer now (39% done).

WOOT!

Word form the High Frog on the Mountain is we will make GenCon with the book.

Because Chuck is a stud.

And no, don't ask me when the pdf will be ready for download, i don't know such things (really, I have no idea, I don't deal with that side)

So, Skeeter... about that download.

Sorry, low Will save.

Seriously should be soon, I think. But then I knows even less about it than Skeeter. So...

Frog God Games

The S&W version is quite finished yet and I don't want to make the Pathfinder version ready for download before the S&W version is ready.

Kthulhu - S&W version is coming in at 496 pages.

Hey Chuck, just a quick shout out. I am a big fan of your layout style. The black and white paper coupled with your heading fonts is very evocative of gritty adventure and it really works for the kind of content FGG puts out.

Sure I love Paizo's very colorful PF work too, but Paizo material has a different 'tone' from FGG material at times.

Keep it up!

Sovereign Court

Grats to all the Frogs...can't wait to see this final product, and looking forward to the new S&W Kickstarter!

Wow, that's about a hundred pages smaller then the ToH. I just hope my shelves have endurance.

This thread needs some love. Any update on the S&W book? Done? Nearly done? PDFs available today???

Hey, a guy can dream, right?

I did it! I held out on asking about the pdfs until somebody else did first! I didn't think I could, I almost posted this morning, but then I didn't!

Whew.

Thanks, Wolfthulhu :P

Now Chuck, about those pdfs <ducks the internet brick Chucks throw at him>

P.S. Oh, and my players were also asking about timing for the Player's Guide pdf; any chance that'll be out by the end of August?

But Skeets, Wolfthulhu started it! <DJF rolls a bluff check to throw Wolfthulhu under the bus, or dragon, as it were>

I'm sorry Wolf, but these FGG guys look like they're gonna wrap the pdfs around greatclubs and give 'em to us in a decidely unpleasant fashion!

Skeet's just slinking around to get behind you both.

You know... if you just... released the PDF then nobody would be asking about it.

Dark Sasha wrote:

SG doesn't slink.

SG

PS SG does occasionally bow in the Face of Greatness, but only in Texas.

I'm totally getting a T-shirt made up that reads 'Skeeter Green don't slink', just to see the looks of total confusion on people's faces.

You guys gotta remember, the FFG people are still diligently working on getting the books and materials ready for production and distribution. Not to mention handling all the shipping orders yet to be figured out via paypal.

Oh yeah, and those pesky day-jobs...

The 40 year old husband and father in me agrees with you totally SRD, but the greedy gamer in me just wants to continue raging against the cruel fates that continue to conspire against me everytime I hit F5 on the Bytes Interactive site and see nothing new... : )

Now I'm wondering if it'll show up in the eZine subscription section, like the Tome of Horrors Complete and Slumbering Tsar, or if it'll be in the 'Files ready for download' section like all of the 'one-off' stuff I buy from FGG? That would totally be my luck to find out that the file was available for download, but I was just checking the wrong section!

Dark Archive

Crap, I've never used Bytes Interactive before.

Will I have issues getting access to PDFs?

Should I set up an account now? I don't see a register section on the website...

If you have ever bought a PDF from the Frog God Games website, an account is setup with PayPal associated email login and site generated password. I am not sure what happens if you don't use PayPal. I guess Bill has to call get you a login setup.

Dark Archive

I've never bought a PDF directly from FGG before...

Here's hoping I can get one set up from this kickstarter?

Maybe I need to order something from their website?

Bah, now I'm paranoid.

Setting up your personal download space is on their end. You will get an email from Bytes Interactive which includes your access code and a link to their site where you will input that number along with your user name (typically your email address). Once you've logged in, it is a simple matter to select the product you want and wait for it to download.

At least this was my experience, and I don't think they've changed it since I used it.

Hmm... have these mails (to get access to the pdfs) gone out already?

Since last week, I seem to be cut off from Kickstarter Update mails...

The last update I saw mentioned that the book was at the printers. No word since then. The date on that one was July 17th.

Guys, the S&W version isn't finished yet, when that's done, I'm going to work up both PDFs for Pathfinder and Swords & Wizardry.

The S&W version should be finished sometime next week.

In the meantime, I've been working on the other goodies.

Shadow Lodge

Great. Thanks for all the hard work, Chuck. And upon release of the PDFs, I promise not to ask what else FGG has brewing for at LEAST a week. :D

I say we release the pdfs and put a lock on anyone's name that starts with a K and ends in U, and has a thul in the middle.

One day, one day my friend....<pow!>

SG, you forgot the rest of that saying.

Chuck, I am confused by this. How can the S&W version not be finished, yet already have been sent to the printer?

Grand Lodge

The S&W version isn't finished, the PF version is.
