Looks like there was some last minute pullout but FGG almost hit a Quarter million dollars for the Frog Gods. From what was made the Frog Gods will Use it wisely ;->

Everyone give yourselves a pat on the back for helping out the Frog Gods.

When I get some paychecks rolling in I will be ordering some stuff no doubt! People just love the epicness of the books Frog God makes. They put their heart and soul into them and they are not rushed products just to make a quick buck. Fans like fine chiseled detailed descriptions and mass amounts of content.

A massive success for the FrogGods. I raise my thick glass of murky frog ale in celebration for this Kickstarter that kicked some A!

1,003 backers too! Wow! Superbooster charge at the end there!

998 backers with 82 seconds to go.

Ruemere

Woo-hoo! Just over the line at 1001 backers! We'll get at least that many nights of entertainment out of this project!

1002 backers. Project funded.

Cheers and congratulations!

WOOT! It's 11:59 PM on Dec 31st 1999, right?

Whatever! Yay FGG!

Very nice!

I have to say, an average of $240 per backer is pretty impressive: compare with the Shadowrun kickstarter - which, while larger at $1,800,000, was 36000 backers - a relatively measly $50 per backer.

Now I just have to find the time, someday, to run the megadungeon for my group :P

And the countdown is no longer in hours, it is now listing minutes. Right now showing 108 minutes remaining. Can we do it? I've pimped this on d20pfsrd.com and on the Facebook and Google+ pages ... oh crap I forgot Twitter... going there now!

Thank you!

Lets get those 1000 backers!

As for the highest funded goal: We know we already have it even if KS doesn't show, let me explain: I spoke with Bill and when we close and we have sent out the survey and tallied the shipping costs we will make a public announcement here (and everywhere) of what our total finally came to with shipping. Then we will see who the winners of this thing really is.

I had a feeling that might be the case. I don't suppose those works will reflect on kickstarter...

We will post it on kickstarter. People can take it for face value. We'll show you ours if you show us yours kind of thing.

Mom just pledged! LOL

Go Mom! :D

Thank you, thank you, thank you everyone. I'm off to open a bottle of wine and hey look, it's almost 5pm here. After I'm done celebrating I'll get on that survey. Give us a day or so.

Tonight, my tabletop group is going after the Cloister of the Frog God (new level you guys will see in the book).

They're gonna die.

Skeeter, surely you can end ANY sentence about RA with that line ;)

A truly magnificent effort. Well done everyone that pledged. I am sure the product will be amazing, and wish I had been a financial position to get involved.

Extra congrats to Bill, Skeeter and everyone at Frog God in delivering this to market. Now a whole new generation of characters can die horribly.

*DON'T GO DOWN THE WELL*

D00d, I CANT WAIT to get my hands on this book and the assorted trinkets!

Oddly enough I might be as excited for the custom dice as I am for the actual book. I was REALLY hoping but seriously doubting that we'd cross the 1K backer mark. I'd resgined myself to the fact that we we'rent going to make it.

So glad to be wrong.

Awesome effort by all involved. Congratulations!!

Woo, just woke up and hooray for 1k+ backers! More dice for me! Shame it seems we hit the quarter mil but then dropped back below. Ahh well, can't wait for surveys and all the other fun stuff :)

A question: What the Eff happened during the last hour? Seems we had a major pullout (several grand)...

Did one of the $x.000 backers 'jump ship'?

Frog God Games

I asked a distributor to drop his pledge to save the 9% amazon commission

Ahh, that makes sense I spose. Amazon and Kickstarter do take a fairly sizable portion off the top don't they?

According to calculations there will be...

math:
385 + 79 + 9x2 + 2 + 2x2 + 3x5(min) + 6x10(min) =
563(minimum) non-signed/numbered copies
math:
13 + 2 + 126 + 123 + 5 + 3 + 13 + 5x2 + 10x2 + 11x2 + 8x4 + 12x4 + 2x4 + 1x4 + 4x4 + 1x4 + 2x5 + 1x8 + 2x5 + 3x6 + 1x16 =
511 signed & numbered copies, & 2x5 + 3x6 + 1x8 = 36 genuine leather covers from this kickstarter, for a total, minimum (due to the brick and mortar store purchases which could have been larger) print run of 1110 books :) I'm sure it'll probably jump to 1500 or so with whatever Bill's been holding back.

Noooooooo....

That's not enough. :(
So much for getting copy number 664. ..

Gratz Frogs. Too bad we didn't get you the top spot, but I'm glad we did this well.

BTW did we hit the goal for hardback copies of the expansions?

Sad Hermit

Spoiler:
I read this and thought for a split second "Donna will enjoy a set."

Glad to see the frogs made it. At least now I'll have a set of dice to use if I run a PFS scenario with a high lethality rate.

Kiss #0706 bye-bye.

It would have been nice to continue the legacy of continuous numbers.

Honestly I hope Peanuts figures are wrong.

It's entirely possible Killer DM :p I'm just going off the number of backers from each level of the kickstarter.

1. They had said that they would be counting the totals for anyone who signed up for the life of the subscription: IE, there's more than a year to get to the magic number.

2. But in case that wasn't comforting enough, Blonde Frog did confirm that they have already reached the goal number for the extra levels to be a hardcover.

There is always hope for more signed books.

May all your players go down the well!

I've spawned clones...

Had to happen sooner or later, I suppose.

701, I hope to read about your running of RA and the many deaths it brings.

706... Not until after I have claimed a few of your poor PCs.

Grr meant to make a pledge last week but was busy with work. *Question* If we didn't participate in the kickstarter, is there still a way to get a hardcopy? I clicked on Rappan Athuk under products on the froggod page but it only leads to the kickstarter page.

The main goal of the Kickstarter was to get the books into game stores so yes ther is a good chance that you can get a book. Other online sources should have them once they are released as well and if all things go as they have up to this point Paizo should have them as well.

Shadow Lodge

I'd also wager that Paizo purchased a few. Of course, you lose out on all the cool Kickstarter swag.

You will be able to purchase a hardcopy by the time these books have returned from the printer. So expect August. I cannot say for certain if preorders will be made available after the kickstarter deadline.

Liberty's Edge

Thanks for the replies lady and gentlemen, especially during the holiday. Like I said, I meant to pledge last week but working in Accounting, end of month can get a bit busy. As for the swag, I meant to donate in the $150 range or a little more but didn't get to it. Either way, it's great to see how successful the kickstarter was for RA. I still have hardcopies of the first book for 3rd edition as well as copies of a few other necromancer adventures. Too many players think that having a pc survive until campaign end is a granted and I'm glad that necromancer and now FFG are dedicated to the challenge of 1st and 2nd edition :)

Shadow Lodge

The survey has been sent out, but...the order of the questions seems to have been BADLY jumbled. Apparently Rappan Athuk 2: The Middle Levels comes in sizes from XS to 5XL. The Survey is somewhat unworkable, as-is. There are questions that are asking me to to choose Pathfinder or S&W, and I have no idea what product they are actually asking about. The three sections of the survey don't exist.

Hopefully one of the Frogs will see this, because in all honesty, there are several questions on it that I simply cannot answer because I'm not sure what exactly it's asking.

Odd, I haven't gotten my survey yet. Maybe yours was sent by mistake?

Shadow Lodge

Well, I think they might be sending out surveys by pledge level. After all, I have quite a few more questions to answer than someone who pledge $40 for a PDF.

Grand Lodge

Pathfinder Adventure, Rulebook Subscriber

I don't think the surveys are sent automatically, as I've seen variance in receipt on other kickstarters I have participated in. I haven't received mine either.

Frog God Games

We've notified the Froggie overlords to see what the deal is.

We are setting up the survey now and sending out over the next few days but please know kickstarter is extremely limiting in how we can set it up. On our end the questions all appear to be in the correct order so I'm not sure why it did not go through correctly on your end. I will contact Kickstarter and see what is going on. Please have patience with us as we step through this process. Feel free to send your answers to Bill directly as kickstarter does not allow me to resend any surveys.

Frog God Games

Kthulhu, can you send me screenshot of what you're seeing to greg[at]talesofthefroggod[dot]com? Thanks.

No survey here....

Frog God Games

Only a few of the upper end backers should have recieved a survey as yet.
It may take a bit to get this straightened out. The Kickstarter Survey process is far from efficient and Blonde Frog is trying to work with them to get it operational. Bear with us.

Also, this is a holiday for most folks in the US.

Shadow Lodge

Greg,

Sent a PDF of the entire survey, as it appears on my end.

Even if it came down to just shooting an email with my preferences, I could handle that, as I've kept close track of what all I should be getting throughout the entire kickstarter process.

*waits semi-patiently for his survey*

So now that the Kickstarter's over, do we know approx when we'll be getting access to the PDFs? You normally seem to release those after it goes to the printer, would be nice to have something to tide me over...

*fidgets and twitches*

Frog God Games

They ain't done yet! :D

My survey read sensibly, but didnt really encapsulate everything I needed to say. It's going to be a pain if you guys have to wade through 1003 emails separately.. :/

(Together with 1003 follow-ups, probably.
