Aravon gives a powerful lash to the concavion, further enraging the demon.
The other Starfinders, however, inflict no harm beyond providing mere annoyance.
Nevertheless, the concavion is displeased with their actions. So much so, that it walks toward the other Starfinders, raises a dark hand, and unleashes a line of entropic force upon them.
The attack manages only to damage the drone, but with enough force drop the AI to the ground, nonfunctional

Aravon got a hang of it. The demon was following him and every now and then smack him with powerful blows. Sometimes get caught them on the shield and sometimes he got smacked really hard. But when the monster stepped away and decided to attack his friends, the half-orc got angry.
He roared in anger and rushed forward raising his whip.
The whip cracks with a powerful explosion, like entropic energy, explodes with crushing the demon's skin and tissues.
The android's last shot goes wide.
But, it provides an opening for the half-orc, whose whip strikes against the demon with tremendous, explosive force!
The concavion howls, but remains standing and turns its head toward Aravon with confident determination.

Ray looks at the creature...."Why don't you go back to where you came from! he shouts (in common), as he touches the arm computer that you know contains Ellen. A bit of flickering white light surrounds his hand and he flings the spell from his cache at the demon. Three small white icons of a female face (in 8 bit graphics) flies towards the demon.
As the small icons fly forth from Rayburn's cache, suddenly turns its head in the human's direction. Though its face is featureless, the demon's swagger alters from confidence to surprise. The miniature graphics quickly surround the concavion, battering it from multiple directions until it collapses to its knees.
The concavion shudders. It ripples outward, and a hand seems to press against the dark matter within it. A rip echoes as the demon unhinges and breaks apart. Darkness swirls outward. The shimmering skin-like coating of mystical force surrounding Rayburn, Weylin, and Impex momentarily flashes brightly, causing the last remnants of darkness to dissipate.
With the botched ritual and the defeat of the concavion, a palpable sense of relief covers Enereth-7. Over your comms, you hear reports indicating that the Cult of the Devourer cell on the planet is shattering. Sensing defeat, those cultists no struck down in the fighting have begun to flee the planet, leaving the quorlus in relative peace.

Aravon had a angry face when the demon was falling down. After a couple of seconds, his expression softened and he slowly unmounted from Smiley.
He hid his Wip and shield and with tired eyes looked at Ray, Weylin and Impex. He simply nodded his head without even moving.
"We are still alive." He nods his head and quickly looks at Smiley if he did not get any injuries.
"No need to apologize Impex. Bad days happen, we got the situation under control. The planet seems to be safe. Let's leave this place..."
Says Half-orc leading Smiley out.

Ray smiles at Aravon as he walks slowly toward them. "You are are quite a mess there....we might want to get back to the ship and see if we can patch you up."
Looking over at Impex, Ray shrugs. "Maybe we need to take that rifle back to the Lorespire and do some tinkering....maybe the sights are off. I am not an expert, but I have a friend who loves their shirren-eye rifle enough that they told me that the smallest difference in sighting for close or long can cause issues in hitting."
Ray will attempt to find the other 'cultist' quorlu to take him back to their allies village.
Rayburn is able to locate the former-cultist, Veerlin, and return to the quorlu village. The villagers are pleased to see that Veerlin is alive and has abandoned the cult. They listen eagerly to Veerlin's tale and the words of the Starfinders that convinced her to leave the Reddened Eye cell. One group of quorlus is particularly impessed by your actions and send you an invitation for you to one day return to Enereth-7 as favored guests.
"That is, if we don't venture to your Absalom Station first." one of the quorlu adds. "Indeed, perhaps some of us will even join your Society."
Your assignment on the planet complete, the Starfinder fleet remains just outside the planet's atmosphere, monitoring the black hole. From one of the ship's comes a transmission from Venture-Captain Arvin.
"Your mission would seem to have been a success." Arvin says in a congratulatory tone. "What occurred with the ritual? And just how were you able to interrupt it?"

On his way he was patched and is feeling ok. His shied got a new dent in it, which will resemble Aravon this mission. He carried that slab of steel from the times when he was behind the shield.
They saved a world this time. Might not have the most important planet in the universe, but one day it might be. Aravon was at peace.
He nods to Arvin and tries to add things here and there when Weylin shows the video clips.
Venture-Captain Arvin scans the clips submitted by Weylin and listens intently to Aravon's explanation.
"These certainly merit more analysis." says Arvin. "But, for now, you are to be congratulated for taking out the threat to a planetwide threat and for defeating such a formidable opponent!"
