Hello everyone. I'm Jude.
I'm a 26 year old trans woman living in Southern Appalachia. I've been out to my friends for a few years, and I am starting HRT next month.
I work retail, which suits me alright. I'm a people person.
I got into TTRPGs in my tweens, and they've stuck with me ever since. I have struggled to keep a physical home game going over the past two years. One of my old players recommended running a Play-by-Post game, which I had somehow not heard of before. I just got the new edition rulebooks, so I'll probably be looking to run a game once I've read them.

Don’t make it bad...
Side note, if any of y’all are going to be running/playing a PF1 campaign and are looking for a Fighter, I’ve got a fun build I’m trying to find a place to play in :D
For those curious, it’s a TWF doru and shield fighter with Shield Snag and Hamatula Strike at level 7, so she can pull off some For Honor-style executions :D

Hi. I know most of the regulars here as I’ve followed this thread since close to its inception but never commented as I always felt it not right for straight, cisgendered people to muscle in but anyhow....I’m not straight and cis.
Not really sure what I am yet but it’s been clear for a long time that it’s not that. I doubt I’ll have much to say here, but acknowledging my....whatever....in public seemed like a step worth taking and Paizo is pretty much my favourite place in the world. So there we go. Hi everyone.

Hello Steve. As somebody who came out late in life and such I agree coming out is a worthy step and Paizo is a great place. It is the one place I have where I feel safe to be who I am.

Welcome. And congrats for your courage.
I hope you will find your path. Here you will definitely find understanding and support.
The way you describe your feelings reminds me of older posts from Cindy Robertson (also a hugely great and brave person). Mentioning this here because I feel there might be worth in this connection.

All are welcome. Being inclusive means that we accept everyone as long as they aren't butt nuggets. You aren't a butt nugget so you are welcome.
I came out in the last few years and I'm almost 50 now. I'm still trying to figure out who I am. You're in good company.

Um, well today started out rough with some dysphoria as I tried to get ready for my day. I ended up going to my appointments at the VA fully as myself. I had a nice sweater on, some red lipstick, and a beautiful necklace. The first group I was in, the facilitator commented that the lipstick looked great on me. I felt confident as I went to my other appointments and even as I walked into the women's clinic to update an appointment I need to cancel for tomorrow (Star Wars wins).
I then met a friend at my favorite game store and took some pictures with some friends. Then went grocery shopping. One lady stared at me like I was a monster, but she wasn't going to take away my euphoria that I deserved.
When I got home I checked the mail. There was a card from my aunt. She made a hair tie from my grandmother's scarf for me. Very touching. I miss my grankie so much. Then I found the card from my parents. It was addressed to Bob, but when I opened it the card was addressed to Cindy. There is no greater gift than the unconditional love of one's parents.
I need to do my estrogen injection before I go to bed. I will as soon as the tears of love settle down so I can handle a needle safely.

Happy New Year, and a Happy Friday!
Here's to the New Year; may it be a damned sight better than the old one.

I'm a big fan. I think I may only have found her after the ban on politics and thus had less opportunity to bring her up.
Learned a lot from her.

Just to clarify my initial post, I would like to avoid getting Into It™, in terms of the twitter reaction to Natalie's comments, and focus on the content of her (mostly past) videos. I realize it is poor timing, but I think the videos she made are entertaining and might be very helpful for understanding issues. I don't think discussing twitter wars helps anyone, and would like to avoid any drama from that spilling into these forums.
If everyone is OK with it, I would like to keep the focus of any discussion to the content of the past videos, and not drama surrounding the individual.
