Yeah-- lots less meme-overdosing.
Although that's not to say there aren't ANY memes.
There's an early-game quest-specific assault rifle that makes me giggle (it's named for particularly Large Succulents), although I'm sad that you have to turn it in at the end of the quest or I'd keep using it for way longer than it should have been used.

Welcome to new people, grats to Cindy, Selene and others and.... wow.. I've been absent from this thread for a while.
...quietly shoves their copy of Pathfinder:Kingmaker to an unmarkedfolder to resist the urge to play it some more....
Hope everyone is doing pretty good and not getting buried under the worries of covid-19!

COVID 19 just put my big day on hold. Now the entire event is being moved to October because Georgia, mostly Atlanta, is being shut down. Washington isn't doing much better. I'm angry that this administration didn't take things seriously. To be honest, I don't know if it would have made a difference. I'm just hurt and I want to blame someone. If anyone was looking forward to the speech or updates, you will have to wait until the middle of October now.

Thanks, Cindy and Condolences on the delay.
Hopefully, the time will fly by.

Hope everyone is staying healthy, safe, and wise out there.
Wash the hands.
Maintain distance (3-6 feet is minimum).
Respect everyone else except those hoarding a-holes that are buying up all the toilet paper/hand sanitizer/disinfecting wipes to resell on E-Bay to make a quick buck.
We'll get through this.

October 16th can't come soon enough.

Thankies other me.
Having to quickly readjust my sleep schedule, the gym has a reduced hours atm (we're still packed regularly -_-)and just found out about it yesterday, luckily I was up early for some reason.
Hope everyone else is doing okay.

You still have gyms open?
They were closed three days ago here by the governor.
No such luck for retail drug/grocery stores, though.
Seriously, if you can stretch out your arm and your arm touches the outstretched arm of someone else you are TOO CLOSE!
Be safe and careful out there, remain hydrated, stay sane for a given measure of sanity.

All non-essential businesses are closed here. My workplace is covered, but profits are still down so much they're going to start furloughing people and cutting pay. With how slow business has been it's not much of a surprise.
I'm still holding onto hope that GenCon won't be cancelled this year since it would be my first and I finally have a friend who wants to go too, but idk how likely that is now. Crossing my fingers.
Stay safe, people!

I hope sanity prevails yea/nay on Gen Con.
Ironically, if it doesn't happen I'd maintain my perfect attendance streak since I started going to them...
Have a family obligation that same weekend this year and this year was going to be the first one I missed since I started going in '94...
Welp, this 'essential person' has to go get ready to be 'essential'.
Be safe out there, maintain six(6) feet from each other, wash your hands!
EDIT: Vixie, Hopefully you and your wife get better soon!

So here’s the more full details:
-My new roomie brought it in with her (nothing to be done about that, really).
-Wife got sick. Dry cough, mild fever (never really got above 100), eventually got some sinus problems.
-I got sick a few days later (my immune system is pretty strong). Same symptoms.
-Wife lost sense of smell.
Currently:
-Wife went to hospital regarding chest pains (according to some reports, Covid can affect the heart if you have preexisting conditions, and my wife doesn’t have anything confirmed but she IS a BBW). They’re checking her out now; I’m hoping she gets sent home before long.
-I’m at home to avoid adding any more Covid to the local hospital (and take care of the cats). Been extremely mucus-y today, but also I forgot to take my Mucus Medicine, so that checks out.
Since my job is 100% WFH-able, they don’t have any special Covid procedures in place, but I had a talk with HR today because it turns out I’m the first one at work to get it (FIRST!!!). They’re looking into what the company plan might be.

So I just came out as trans to my friends Gaming club thing...it is the largest group I have come out to and include people I dont know well or at all...so very nervous.
I plan on when the physical place opens back up to present as female there.
Sounds like you are making huge strides! That's awesome. Now that you have had a bit of time to think about how it went, how do you feel?

It went okay. Most people seem to be accepting...though that is sometime more from peer pressure than true acceptance so we will see.
I feel good about it though...

Sometimes peer pressure can work in our favor. I know that it has helped with some people in my family. My parents aren't happy with what I'm doing, but my two brothers and their wives aren't letting them criticize it or misgender me.
This will get easier and easier the more you do it and then you won't be coming out all the time. You will feel like you are letting people into your circle or even not caring as much about their feelings.

@Cindy: I find peer pressure acceptance to be mixed. In the immediate I guess it is good as you don't have to deal with negativity at first.
But those feeling still exist and it can lead to resentment and negativity in other ways. I also have found out some of my friends talk behind my back.
I prefer people are more upfront (hopefully polite about it) so we can discuss it.

You aren't wrong. I have found that sometimes those people who had resentments find out that they were wrong and they end up being some of our strongest allies.
