@DMZZ - I am slowly working my way through the apps. With 40 of them, it takes a while and there are only so many in a row that I can do a good job evaluating at one time. I usually get through 3-5 each time I get a chance. Down to 8 left right now. The other campaigns are a nice diversion to clear my mind.
@Shifty - I only lost 6 with that group gone. But my other campaigns have also slowed down this weekend.

HoR - Rise of the Runelords is about to go to book 3.

Im gonna read the last 10 pages or so of HoL but if anyone else has a plot hook for an entrance then Im all ears.
I'd love to Shifty :) I tried making a character (Well mostly made a character) for Sable's Bloody Kisses game but what overwhelmed on how much back story and what not I just didn't know nor have time to figure out in order to play the game, so I withdrew my submission. If this is something I can jump into easily, I'd absolutely love to have a second game to play. Classes start back up August 20th but I'm only going 3/4 time (9 credit hours) so it shouldn't be much of a problem.

@Perry - I let the guys know about the PFS session. They are all happy about the Star Trek convention (which had me eyerolling... except about Janeway. I'd go for Janeway. And then seduce her... totally worth it) so will see how they get on with PFS play etc.

The character generation for HoR is something DMZZ can fill you in on, but happy to have a hand in helping you build from there. Luckily this is a game you can jump in on, and there are plenty of ways for you to end up in the group.

Just go ahead and roll your stats:
You roll 7 times 4d6 - always drop the lowest die from each roll and after that drop the lowest of the 7 rolls. If your summed-up stats then equal 75 or more you have a char.

Either of those is fine. Im not familiar with the Sczarni family in the story though. I only read the last 10 pages and about another 5 pages spread throughout. I am familiar with the good captain though.

To be fair the only character Karlan has come close to completely disliking is the pyromaniac gnome. But that might have a lot to do with his desire to burn all the evidence.
It did not have to be evidence for the pyro gnome to want to burn it, just flammable - or possibly flammable.
Should I take a second favored class? And if so, what works best with Sorcerer (or what would work best for the HoR group)?
Reckon you'd probably just go straight Sorc.
On a side note, unless you were attached to picking a second class, I'd take an alternate trait ie
•Arcane Training Half-elves occasionally seek tutoring to help them master the magic in their blood. Half-elves with this racial trait have only one favored class, and it must be an arcane spellcasting class. They can use spell trigger and spell completion items for their favored class as if one level higher (or as a 1st-level character if they have no levels in that class). This racial trait replaces the multitalented racial trait.
Same with the Skill Focus unless you have something in mind.

OK, aside from the uncertainty as to whether the bloodline "class skills" get the same +3 bonus as her sorcerer class skills... I think that Alana is finished. The bloodline skills get the same +3 class bonus as long as you have at least one rank in them.

OMG, you're right. I forgot I added an ability point to Dex for my level raise. I'm actually keeping track of two sheets for her one in a .docx to save to my comp and one on here. Looks like I updated the one on the document but forgot to over here. *Sigh* Otherwise, everything OK? And are you super duper proud of me for doing most of it all by myself :P
