What's a chain breaker? I am unfamiliar with that weapon or it's source material.

Edit: You also need to have the point blank shot feat before you take precious shot. Sorry I noticed you said you haven't played this guy in a long time so I did a quick glance to make sure he's up and ready. Unless you got it from a ranger thing in which case you can just ignore me :D.

Chain Breaker is the name of his +1 earth breaker. I get Precise Shot without point blank shot because of my Archery Combat style.

You can get early entry with a race that has a level 3 SLA. SLAs count as being able to cast a spell of their level for prerequisites.

Right, the next two are recommended for slow advancement. This level was number III, Splinterden. Next up is IV, Godhome. It got pretty good reviews, so let's see what you think of it.

The next one is also 3-5, so I'd have to sit out two. Man, in the old days it didn't matter what level you were, you could play whatever you wanted as long as you were the minimum level of the scenario. When did that change?

FAQ re Early Entry:
Spell-Like Abilities, Casting, and Prerequisites: Does a creature with a spell-like ability count as being able to cast that spell for the purpose of prerequisites or requirements?
Yes.
For example, the Dimensional Agility feat (Ultimate Combat) has "ability to use the abundant step class feature or cast dimension door" as a prerequisite; a barghest has dimension door as a spell-like ability, so the barghest meets the "able to cast dimension door prerequisite for that feat.

Edit 7/12/13: The design team is aware that the above answer means that certain races can gain access to some spellcaster prestige classes earlier than the default minimum (character level 6). Given that prestige classes are usually a sub-optimal character choice (especially for spellcasters), the design team is allowing this FAQ ruling for prestige classes. If there is in-play evidence that this ruling is creating characters that are too powerful, the design team may revisit whether or not to allow spell-like abilities to count for prestige class requirements.

Re Jelani: I am fine waiting for Jelani if he wants to wait. That said, he does scare me tremendously with his incredible combat prowess coupled with his -1 Will save. I do hope your next purchase is a Clear Spindle Ioun Stone to put in your Wayfinder, and also that Asuna has a way to get you back under control quickly should you be turned against us. :)

My current plan is to sit out two levels then, if that's the best solution we can come up with. I'd be fine with delaying leveling up as well, but that's probably illegal or something.

The next chronicle gives 1856/3711 gp (slow/fast).

I'm fine with holding the spot for Jelani. Would you consider running a pregen for the two levels you have to sit out? That way you'd keep up with the story and character development, and you won't have to be inactive for 2+ months. The new ACG pregens are pretty interesting.

There's pregens for most classes at level 1, 4, and 7, that you can use as a character in a pfs game. So, for a tier 3-5 game, you can use the level 4 pregen. You'll get a chronicle that you can apply to any character (in the right range). The pregens can be found under player resources on the pathfinder society page.

You must start with them as listed, but what players sometimes do is sell their stuff and replace it with something else. It makes more sense at lower levels, though. I'm fine with calling Crowe 'Jelani', and I appreciate the continuity

Okay, Chronicle looks good and I'm ready leveled and ready to go.

The only issue I have is that in the dropbox none of the first pages show up with the "Land Rush" chronicle sheet (when I look at the sheets of everyone who was here for level 1), so I've never been able to see what I can buy with that.

I'd like to see that if you get a chance or if someone else can post that.

My shopping list is much smaller.

Purchasing a wayfinder (not sure why I didn't have one yet for this character and enchanting my mw alchemically silvered morningstar to +1.

I can now cast 3 level 2 spells, and I can cast lvl 2 spells 4 times a day.

Cure Light, Cure Mod, Lessor Restoration, plus channeling positive energy at 2d6 a pop 5 times per day. If you guys die, I am doing something seriously wrong.
