I just had a look, and it looks like I misreported the level 4 session (I reported it as Danu, but gave it the wrong pas number.). I'll contact Jesse. There's another mistake I made in reporting :(
The recommended starting level for this floor is level 5. If you're over that, you probably have to take it slow.
@Jelani: Slow advancement gives 1.5 xp (basically one character level per two modules played).
It's tier 4-6. What level are you now?
I fthat is true, you're level 7. Did you count the chronicle that was intended for Danu, by any chance? Because I still have to ask Jesse to change that one...
If not, then your character is definitely out of range, which means you'll have to play Crowelani (or Kyrelani, Valani, Lemani, whoever you like) for one more level.

This could be a pretty tough fight - Thistle will shout out his weaknesses as soon as he can. Doesn't seem fair to prep ahead of time since we couldn't do it in character with the thing sitting right there. Unless someone else has know:planes... then just one less person to have to tell what we should do :)

Yes, I am taking the fast track. I just did the math, and assuming we are still playing by then (I hope so!) I wont take the slow track until level 11 I think... That should put me at level 13 for the 16th level of the dungeon.

Here is a question I mentioned a little while back but didn't need an answer at the time.
Can I "catch up" on the land grab chronicle sheet? The way I read the chronicle, you can buy 1 hex for every chronicle sheet you have. So theoretically I should be able to buy 6 hexes now... right? If that is the case let me know, I will post on here what hexes I get.

Ok - Leveled up to 6. Updated my tagline as well to a new format my other PFS group is using - the idea is to make it easier for the DM to find information. Let me know if you like it Mr. Kludde, I will be happy to give you the template I use for it. (and give credit to GM Damo for coming up with it)

The last chronicle I have for Jelani is Level 3 of the tower. You have reported him as also completing level 4, but I don't have a copy of the chronicle in my file for some reason. Except level 2 was played by Skaarr, not Jelani according to my memory and to Dropbox. His PFS number is 12663-3. So that was reported wrong.
Then level 3 was Jelani, which I have a chronicle for.
Levels 4-6 were played with Crowelani, and the credit given to Danu. Danu's PFS number is 12663-4. His sessions tab shows level 5 and 6, but not 4. Soo level 2 and 4 are assigned to Jelani. But level 2 should be Skaarr, and level 4 should be Danu. Make sense?
Level 1: Skaarr -> Correct
Level 2: Skaarr -> Not Correct (now on Jelani)
Level 3: Jenali -> Correct
Level 4: PG (Danu) -> Not correct (now on Jelani)
Level 5: PG (Danu) -> Correct

Emerald spire reporting has been chaotic lately. Please ignore the 'Player has already played' messages, they're a legacy thing/bug in the reporting system.

DM Kludde - I forgot to mention, remove curse cost 150gp (spell casting service). I will make sure that gets accounted for on my chronicle sheet from the last level.
Also - sorry I haven't been able to post as often. I just moved this weekend about 3 hours away from my home to take a new job. Started this week, and still trying to work out a ridiculous amount of details between house hunting, mortgage searching, etc, etc... I am doing my best to keep up, and I think things may be settling down just a bit. (to a dull roar...)
Hopefully this new routine I am getting into will hold, which will let me post more often.

I just realized that Paizo has put an end to the early entry for prestige classes they had allowed last year. My character is no longer legal, since I can't enter ekdritch knight until next level now.
I'm guessing this allows me to change some things up without problems...do you want me to go ahead and do that?
I must say I haven't followed it much. Do you have a link for me, or some reference? What do they say on rebuilding, because usually they grandfather these things.

Last year they updated the FAQ to allow early entry to prestige classes with spell like abilities, including in PFS. However, they went back on it and changed the FAQ.
I am not sure how to proceed at this point, hence the question.

Only if the pre-requisite calls out the name of a spell explicitly. For instance, the Dimensional Agility feat (Ultimate Combat) has "ability to use the abundant step class feature or cast dimension door" as a prerequisite; a barghest has dimension door as a spell-like ability, so the barghest meets the "able to cast dimension door prerequisite for that feat. However, the barghest's dimension door would not meet requirements such as "Ability to cast 4th level spells" or "Ability to cast arcane spells".

I don't really have more information than that they made the change. I just wanted to self-report so I wouldn't run into problems later.
Frankly, my preference would be to have this grandfathered in.
I'll just wait to hear from you, though. I'm hopeful we will make it all the way through this tower, which would be pretty much all of Caranthir's PFS career, and I have no intentions of using this character elsewhere.
So just let me know what you want and I'll comply.

My guess would be rebuild when it comes to PFS, normally they only Grandfather things in that will be made legal again or with a boon.

(The pity of the matter is, though, that the rule change was dated June 2013 - before we started the Emerald Spire run...)

Yay!!! I'm super happy about this, and I was getting worried not just the pain of de-leveling and then re-leveling, but whether the whole character concept was going to work how I wanted it to. That's a huge relief. :)
