Fried gator (and conch) are both over-rated. Give me a plain ol' grouper sandwich or spicy fried chicken any day over gator.

If we're getting married, you gotta try on some Spanx shapewear first. Then you're gonna need a Wedding Dress- SQUEEEEEEEEEEEE! An A-line or a sheath maybe...

the fact that you have turned one of the most iconic cursed items in d20* history into Spanx is the funniest thing I have read on this, or any message board. Ever. I laughed until it hurt.

What is it with West Coast breweries and way overhopping beers? It's kinda rediculous. It's not an issue of me not liking bitterness, either. I eat dark chocolate and black licorice and take my morning coffee jet black. And I can drink British IPAs just fine. It's West Coast IPAs that often taste like biting into pine needles. It's cringe inducing, and it carries over to a lot of non-IPAs from the region, too.

May not be an issue of overhopping, but rather of using different hops. Hops from different countries taste differently (at least, that's what the radio commercial says), so maybe you just don't like that kind of hop.

Anyone else catching Superbowl fever out there?
I am. I have a Broncos outfit. I have a couple cases of Bud Light (in the Superbowl cans. And I am going to prepare hand made pizza rolls with top quality mozzarella, pepperoni, grilled Italian sausage, and fresh red onion... and for the Veggie lovers they will be top quality cheddar, fresh broccoli, sweet peppers, and mushrooms.

There's another Super Bowl? Didn't we just have one last year?

Yeah; NobodysWife doesn't care for hoppy beer either, and she has the same complaint: Even at BevMo with several hundred varieties of beer, you might find a dozen or so that aren't over-hopped.

And not all of that dozen are good...

Is it that bad? And yes I know it's just alcoholic water but the food is supposed to be the star of the event not the beer.

Well, my feeling about it is that it's not quite alcoholic water, but "alcoholic water with an unnecessarily bitter and sour aftertaste". Even in our punker days when we needed plenty of beer cheap, we went with Mickey's Big Mouth Lager instead of Bud or Coors because they just tasted bad to us.

But to each his or her own...

You haven't had bad beer until you've had Milwaukee's Best.

It's all pisswater.

Wanna prove me wrong?

Have you EVER seen someone voluntarily drink non alcoholic beer?

If it were for the flavor, surely those would sell to more than sad alcoholics trying to hold off a desire to sate their desperation.

I rest my case.

Ok truth be told the beer was a gift to me from Budwiser and I wasn't going to drink all that Bud Light on my own so having a super bowl party seemed the smartest thing to do.

I absolutely HATE the Superbowl. Even before the construction absolutely screwed San Francisco's downtown traffic situation, I was pretty tired of [political rant redacted]. So glad I'm working during the game.

See, now THAT's genius!

We have a bunch of gamers who come over, bring cheap beer, and drink our good stuff.

So I stopped buying the good stuff.

"Where is it?"
"Well, since there's plenty of the beer you brought last time in the fridge, I figured I'd let you drink that 'til it runs out, then I'll re-stock."

Well, that sucks. Don't let it get you down, Drejk. Your stuff is good, and 3P publishers think so too, 'cause they've been buying it and publishing it. :)

We've been crowded out of Wayfinder by darn upstart whippersnappers! In my day, your submission had to go through at least two editors, uphill and backwards, both ways!

I'm still processing OA. Hopefully my submission with two psychic-themed archetypes will make it into this upcoming Wayfinder. If they don't make it in, Yesterday, you're welcome to use them.

Neither my critter (picklebug) nor my archetypes were picked for Wayfinder either. Not sure they'll be any use (or any interest) to you, Yesterday (or anyone else), but here the archetypes are: the mindkiller and mind assassin (scroll down past the vishkanya stuff).
