Small cavalier. Who rides a giant toad. Bestiary 2 has the giant toad with hallucinogenic skin poison, I'd use that.

Microsoft Word 2007

Ah, I thought you might have been, but I wasn't sure if you had some custom software that formatted everything nice and neat for you. Its all done yourself :) Thanks.

That's easy. Paladin/Shadowdancer.

I have one on file, but I don't have my PC right now. Otherwise I'd link to it. :(

Dragon Age 2

O.o What type of weapon is he using? It's longer than a sword, and is like half blade, half grip... odd, that, but interesting...
It appears to be a cross between a sword and staff, seeing as Hawke can cast spells and in the Dragon Age world (at least what was presented in the first game) only mages can cast spells and he definitely casts spells.

That would be the Staff of Parthalan. To imitate the weapon you could use a spear, or perhaps a a variant two-bladed sword: Staff of Parthalan 1d6/1d8 x2/19–20/×2 B or S double.

Yes, the main antagonist from the movie.

Aka the Smoke Monster? I'd say a Lawful Evil Wind Oracle would do the trick. Gaseous form is about as close to killer smoke mode that you can get. But enough Lost requests!

to chime in on Hawke's weapon, I'd say it's an Usriev which was introduced in MERP.

The entire gang of Scooby Doo. I'm thinking.

Fred: Paladin
Daphne: Sorcerer
Velma: Rouge
Shaggy: Cleric or Druid ("Whoa man, these plants are like medicinal man...")
Scooby: ???

They could ride around in a pimped out magically animated green and blue wagon.

This actually sounds like a fun beer n' pretzels game.

if anything Daphne is the "rouge" but velma's either a wizard or archivist bard- knowledge checks

Shaggy is a druid and scooby is his animal companion.

I would like to see a Gnome Alchemist/Wizard multi-class.

That almost sounds like an awesome prestige class!!!! Possibly Alchemist/Illusionist, and one of their specialities are those flash bang smoke clouds that you throw down when you want to disappear. Kind of Cape of the Montebanky.

A monk that wears(and is proficient with) armor. That way, when if he gets imprisoned, and they take the armor away... >:)

Sovereign Court

I once ran a one shot where a monk was imprisoned within full plate.

It was hilarious.

Conjoint twins where one is a Necromancer and the other is a Paladin.

This would make an interesting pair of NPC's.

Let the hilarity insue.

I was considering asking for a Rogue/Paladin mix, I think the above would be similar.

Goblin alchemist complete.

TACTICS: Buff up AC via spells. Take flight, pelt enemies from long range with tanglefoot bags, stink bombs, and explosive bombs (between his far shot feat and the touch attacks, his chances of hitting remain good even at a fair distance).

With his other defensive buffs (protection from arrows, resist energy, and brooch of shielding) there isn't a great deal of options for the PCs when it comes to retaliating (magic ranged weapons and dispel magic are the only things that come to mind).

STYLE: Sojo is a crazed goblin alchemist who carries a volatile tank of fuel on his back, which he replenishes each and every day. He has also constructed a series of tubes running along his left arm to form a large mechanical "claw" (treat as a magical punching dagger). With this mechanical pack and clawed arm, he can form explosive balls of napalm for hurling at his enemies as well as noxious smoke. When in combat he has been known to release his fuel in controlled bursts in order to take off like a rocket (simply his fly formula reflavored).

What do you think?

Sorry I took so long. I put a lot of work into getting the portrait just right. What's more, I had to buy a new laptop and get all my old software reinstalled.

The quick skirmisher character will be a short while longer.

Mahorfeus was on it, I was indeed talking about the Smoke Monster. Johnny Cash would be a high level Bard with the Badass archtype.

How about an Oracle of Ogoleg

It's a place, not a god. If you mix up the letters, you'll see the inspiration.

Dark Archive

It might be overly similar to the skirmisher, but I've been trying to stat up a character concept inspired by Infite Sword Mifune from Soul Eater. (Amv, but it at least gives a concept of the character)

I'm thinking polearm-wielding Mobile fighter, but would be curious to see how someone else put him together.

How about a young half-elf who cares deeply for the woodlands? After falling in with an evil and cunning druid using the guise of "restoring the wild lands to their former glory," the young half-elf is sundered by a cleric of the god of cities/civilization and is left to die while the cleric and her allies dispatch the druid. The half-elf, bleeding and broken, is saved by the very forests she fought to protect and is restored to life.

Now crippled and bitter, the half-elf seeks vengeance on the cleric and her cohorts. She wields the very essence of the wilds in her magic, completely unaware that the druid she took companionship with was actually an evil mastermind bent on destroying the cities of the realm.

(Nature Oracle with the Lame curse.)

The best characters are interesting both mechanically AND conceptually.

I do as well. Sadly, when questioned about a loophole in the rules, the boards answer "ask your GM".

Statting up a character in one's free time implies that there's no GM behind your shoulder.

The athiest cleric or Paladin is my reaction to rules stating they can draw power from a philosophy.
I had one character who was an elf ranger who lost his memory. He was named John Doe and he vanished because they killed Return to Raven's Bluff.

I have 3 1/2 GMs at the moment (I say "half" because I technically left one GM's game and now only play as a guest under her at rare occasions).

I like this character. The claw and rocket fly spell are nice reskinning touches (I love those). There seems to be a discrepancy though, in the combat stat block and the inventory list for the melee weapon (a +1 spiked gauntlet is listed as a weapon and a +1 punching dagger in the inventory list and character description).

As far as the build goes, only suggestion i have on the build is putting in a few ranks in Perception. With barkskin he's got a nigh assailable AC for his level, a defensive powerhouse.

Also, did you make this portrait yourself? It's pretty cool, makes him out to be an anti-social, fatalastic/grim, and conniving sort (good for a goblin character).

Interesting. It is supposed to be a spiked gauntlet (that way he is armed but retains functionality of his hand, plus he cannot be disarmed--which thematically fits a robotic claw). Sorry about the mix up.

I LOVE reskinning characters. It's a fun way to make them more interesting while also maintaining balance.

I did not make the portrait myself. I did however edit it extensively. It used to be a gnome. I recolored it and stretched a few features to make him look more menacing.

I don't know about you, but the Nature Oracle always felt very dark to me. Druid is all about harmony with the natural world, singing & dancing & other hippy stuff. The Nature Oracle doesn't seem to be protecting the natural world so much as she is wielding it; reading the entrails of dead things (including enemies), destroying and unmaking the evils of civilization, feeding from the life of her enemies, and whispering her sweet madness into the very souls of her "companions." It's just awesome.

Sure. I didn't work up a full sheet for this one because I see it as more of an NPC than a heroic PC. So without further ado...

***

An abusive drunk is a man who let the vice of alcohol get the better of him. Such men are always violent and are prone to a variety of other disorders. Many become so incapable of living a normal life that they mus be locked up in an institution of some kind, such as an insane asylum. The stats below are of the pugilistc version of the village idiot (see the NPC gallery) with the alcoholic addiction and schizophrenic conditions applies.

Schizophrenia A schizophrenic character has lost his grip on reality, and can no longer tell the difference between what is real and what is not. These constant hallucinations cause the schizophrenic to appear erratic, chaotic, and unpredictable to others. Each time a schizophrenic character finds himself in a stressful situation (such as combat) he must make a Will save against his insanity's DC (typically DC 16, see the Sanity and Madness rules). Failure indicates that the character becomes confused for 1d6 rounds. Additionally such a character suffers a –4 penalty on all Wisdom and Charisma-based skill checks (included above) and cannot take 10 or take 20.

TACTICS*
----------------------------------------------------------------

Round 1) Drink dwarven fire ale and stumble towards imagined enemy, going into a rage (as per the rage spell) and suffering from 1d2 constitution damage.
Round 2) Charge nearest target and attack with club or fist.
Round 3) Continue attacking until target is killed.
Round 4) Repeat steps 3 and 4.

* Only use these tactics when not under a confusion effect.

A summoner who's eidolon is called The Doctor. The Doctor has a bypass respretory system so he cannot be strangled. His 2 hearts explain his good fort saves. If killed he comes back looking different(Regeneration). He should have a good use magic device so he can use a wand and call it a sonic screwdriver. The actual summoner should be based on a companion.

As a bad guy the Eidolon would be named The Master and the summoner would be a humanoid. Possibly a Drow.
