| Sir Percival de Looupe |
Just thinking with only 3 in the party, Halstadt is both the healer and the the fighter type, with Mouse the skill king and hopefully devastating damage, although seems specialized in ranged. Sir Percy's spells currently do no damage, but were designed to make life easier for the fighters by buffing or debuffing. So the tactics may need to change with just the 3 of us, and it may not be the best thing for us all to be single classed.
With Halstadt being the frontline fighter and healer, we really need a way to keep him from dying, so I was wondering whether to take a level in cleric, so that we have 2 characters able to heal, thus if Halstadt goes down, we have the ability to get him back up again.
I also thought Halstadt might benefit from 1 level of fighter, to give access to heavy armor and more weapons.
Just some thoughts....
If I went for a level in cleric, I would have to change my stats and put something into wisdom.
So what do you think guys?

I don't think you need to worry, as I said in the main thread you will be supplied with a pair of NPCs fighters as muscle. This will actually make a fighter buffer get even more use out of buffing spells, the two NPCs will be able to fulfill that role, so Halstadt need not become a fighter, nor you a cleric.

@Halstadt: Whichever you want, I'd wait to buy it until after the job is received, so if you do go bane you'll have an idea what to expect. I reccomend Marcus get the flat +2 because he needs the damage boost.
@Marcus: Actually, I think you forgot to increase your BAB. The rapier should hit on a +12 = mwk +1, Weapon Focus +1, 5 BAB, 5 Dex. A +2 weapon and flanking will bring that up to +15 which gives you a good 80% of hitting.
Similarly the shortbow should be +5 Dex, +5 Bab for a +10 total, +11 within 30 ft. for 1d6+1 damage. I strongly reccomend you buy a mwk composite short bow, it'll give you +1 to hit and damage for only about 400 gp. So that even with rapid shot both shots will hit around 50% of the time.
Finally anyway you think of to increase your will save slightly will stand by you, very few saves are worse to fail than a will save in terms of losing control of your character! Those are just suggestions however, and you always have friends who can help you out, and both Percy and Hal can remove magical effects.

I'm still not used to Pathfinder, sorry. Like right now, I'm at work trying to figure out what BAB stand for..lol. I will adjust the scores during my lunch today or when I get home this afternoon. Sorry for the ignorance.
edit- HA...got it! Base Attack Bonus. Right?

Yup! Sorry for the confusion, I know your not familiar with the system, and while I don't require you to be super-powered by any stratch of the imagination, I could see that it was frustrating to miss frequently in the sahugin fight.

Question...if I wanted to make my cold iron rapier a +2 cold iron rapier, do I have to purchase a new sword or do I just pay the money to make it a +2? Also, if I wanted to add Keen to it...is that a seperate amount (8000+what ever keen costs) or would it be 1 price for the whole thing?
Thanks

I'm gonna be away after Friday early morning (UK Time - GMT+1), returning Sunday evening, feel free to BOT Sir Percival during this time, so it doesn't slow the game.
Thats fine! I don't expect this fight to last to much longer, that fireball decimated (Or rather demimated them!)
