Whoah! My woman's brother would have a geekgasm for that. Where did she get it?

That's the thing, she got it at WalMart.

Congratulations. I'm closing in on a nice round number myself.

Wow, a lot of pointless insanity there.

I am so totally bad father. My three year old was having a meltdown because I wouldn't let her have a Capri Sun at 6:30 in the morning, so Iavein and let her have the Capri Sun. What am I teaching my daughter?

That if she attacks you at 6:30 am you are weak? Its all good man, its good for them to occasionally win a battle. Just hold strong on the important issues.

You are a good daddy, and you know it! :D

Hello from Bridgewater Academy folks! I figured today I would stay more in the background and just watch.
Lucky you guys this means I hunted down internet so that I could grace you all with my presence. ;)

Oh, shoot. I had just written a really long post pleading with David to stop being such a terrible dad and explaining to him what terrible consequences this behavior was going to have for them in the future, and I saw Solnes beat me to it with her sunshine and ponies post. Oh well, <delete>.

So after yesterdays hunt for caffine and eventual coffee run I managed to get up early enough to have coffee at home. Yup, I walked into the school with my Tim Tam cup full of sweet creamy caffine filled goodness. ;)

You know you look forward to my sunshine and ponies demeanor. Its ok, you can admit it, I was going for sunshine and ponies. ;)

You horrible man. Giving her a capri sun. Everyone knows Ecto-cooler is where it's at!

So after being in his class for two days I am finding more and more that I can not wait to be a teacher with a classroom of mine own. These kids are adorable and I just love watching them grasp a concept and get so excited. :)

OK people, its time to hit the boards, I need entertainment. :)

Or not, I am going to wander and see if I can make myself useful for someone. Talk to you guys in just a few. Don't cry..I'll brb...honest. ;)

Heh. She wanted to be the bad parent posting in the back of the room, but cuteness, the only natural advantage of the small child, lured her into their little clutches. Next, she'll be like David and start passing around her coffee mug to all of them.

Do they still make that?

Just added Richmond University, University of Denver, and University of St. Thomas in Minnisota to my list of schools to apply to.

I have a buddy who teaches at St Thomas in the religion department.

Getting ready to settle under the covers and read while getting warm post.

But first, Urizen...T-Shirt was bought at Good Old Wally World. :D

Oh really? Hm. I may have to see if they're selling them online instead of pulling my hair out combing through the racks at various locations. I mean, it is Wally World after all. :P

I'll just take the latter.

Say no to the Olsen twins? Do tell.

So you like your pig liver, huh?

Never been a fan of them. Not enough meat on their bones and they seem hollow, empty, and souless on the inside just by looking at their eyes.

Cool. They have their law program pretty mapped out so I wouldn't get to spend much time in the religion department.

That's the thing, she got it at WalMart.

At least knowing that, the shirt should be anywhere between $6 to $14. Now I really got to look.

$9.50 for a 2X.

I'm now caught up and caffinated to work post.

David Fryer wrote:

Yowza! That's a steal. Just need a 1X, so I'm definitely going to look when I get a chance. Unless someone has their Walmart-Fu Search handy.

Dark Archive

Anyone else ready for the day to be over?

*shrug*

My search on Walmart was futile. I can find SuperMan, Batman, and Justice League graphic Ts, but no Marvel. Hm.

But I did find some cool cookie monster shirts; always been my favorite seasame street character.

Mac -

A friendly reminder that you need to post your GL ring pic so we can have a geekgasm and bask in its awesomeness. It'd be cooler if it was your actual wedding ring. :P

So cold. SO very, very cold. Although now that I am inside the nice warm house and I have put on some nice dry clothes, I am at least finally starting to warm up. It's a sodding miracle I didn't get frostbite.

Well, to work on catching up on what I missed now. :/

Hey, Lynora. Get yourself some hot tea. :)

Hot tea+ food+ blankets = happier Lynora. It seems I did get a touch of frostbite on my legs after all. :(

But at least it's not serious. Should heal up in a day or two.

Yikes. Sorry to hear that, but at least you didn't get "bad" frostbite.

Heck, I didn't know there was "good" frostbite.

Really??? I'd be looking for two pairs of XLs. One for me and one for my woman's brother. I got your address, just tell me what the $$ is including shipping if you can indeed get it. I doubt I'm going to find it at a price better than what Wally's offering.

Her brother became unemployed right before christmas and it's been a bit of a downer with his woman working part-time at Old Navy and trying to feed their three daughters. It'll at least put a smile on his face. He was happy when I got his kids a Wii game and the Incredible Hulk for him to play for Xmas. :D

Anyone else not seeing taig's avatar?

Will do, I'll check this weekend, after I get paid, and let you know if I got 'em. :)

Schweet! I'd likely send a cashier's check so you don't have to worry about availability of funds. As I work for a financial institution, I can bypass the fees. :D

Any idea as to the cost of shipping? I don't do it often myself, but since they're t-shirts, it shouldn't be that heavy. Toss 'em into a big bubble wrap envelope or something...
