Wow. What a morning.
Tiff with the wife in the AM leads to a discovery of several extra dollars in my account that we both had been waiting for, so we leave for our days only slightly peeved at each other. Hop on the six machine to get to work, and I'm not even riding for five minutes when I discover a man on the sidewalk motionless. There are a few people around him, and 911 has already been called, but I can't just leave the scene without making sure things are okay. I suggest the man, who is in his dotage, remain on the ground and have one of the people nearby put her handbag underneath his feet to keep his legs elevated. He has a torn lip and his left hand is stiff and bloody, but I think he'll be okay. I ensure that he will not be alone and head off to work. I arrive, pondering that mini-venture, and discover that my coworker has taken off sick, so I'm in charge of...well..everything except for the group meeting and dinner tonight. My supervisor rushes off to handle something immediately after telling me this and the secretary disappears, leaving me in the eye of the hurricane of activity that surrounds me. Did I mention that this is all happening before noon? And that I have to go to a meeting for the second job tonight? Ye gads...when it rains, it pours.

Thanks for making the connection. I'm sometimes absurdly pleased with my own ideas, simple as they may be. Ravenloft being filled with undead would be the negative consequence of the death of the death goddess (cf. her hatred of undead).

Yeah, when I read that performing thread necromancy was a bannable offense elsewhere, I realized just how happy I am posting on the Paizo boards. :)

Yeah, it's something that will get you booted hard at L5R forums. Which is one of the reasons I post rarely over there. Moderation there is an iron fist wrapped in a ccg glove.
