I'm sad. Urizen won't play in our traps, or stand still long enough to get punted. *sniff*

Heck, if I were there, I would do it for free. One dollar would be all gravy on top. :)

You need a higher caliber of co-workers CH.

I know... He won't come to our thread either...

Sorry, Cosmo, I'm not trying to cause trouble, it's just a perspective check for me. I think everyone finds my insertions into conversations at least charming if not always enlightening, so when I see that similar behavior enrages people, I start to think I'm enraging people all the time and just clueless to it.

Go ahead, CJ, we've been virtual friends long enough: hit me with your best shot!

CrimJ: I'm in a good mood.

David: thanks for the assist. I was off doing research at that point, thanks to CH.

Hmm... Gravy on top...

Maybe that's what it needs.

Ah, the moment has passed. There were so many ways to run with your statement that my brain broke.

That was uncalled for Mairkurion

Spoiler:

;)

I know, I'm such a jerk. But I have such warm feelings towards [almost] every single person on these boards. I should try not liking people so much.

LOL! I guess some people don't think a $1 is worth having botulism. Bunch of wusses. ;)

Go to the civil religion thread you will find a reason to dislike someone.

I was at my in-laws summer house on the Cape and unknowingly made a sammich with expired mayo (3 months past). It tasted bitter so I checked the date and threw it out. Thankfully I didn't get sick. Fast forward to Christmas and I go to make a sandwich at their other house and jokingly make a show of checking the date and it was three years past!

Jeez! I wonder why they bother buying mayo if they never eat it?

The worst part? My stepfather-in-law ate the 3 month old mayo even after I pointed it out to him! He did throw the 3 year old stuff out though...

Go to the civil religion thread you will find a reason to dislike someone.

And now you know why I *won't* go back there. Imagine if the same group of people were talking about automobiles and you were a mechanic or the brain and you were a neuro-surgeon and you'll have some idea of why I can't go over there.

Some of the questions are very basic.....automobiles: how do you change the oil.

I love those types of discussions. They can be very valid, and informative.

The well, I don't know if it is a car even though I just drove it around the block. Those drive me nuts.

That seems the best part of yesterday and today. I really feel for Moff since he is still worried about his friend and then takes his time to deal with this and in someways hateful, silliness.

I can't do it.

So...Mairkurion is basically a religion unto himself? I've been eating/seasoning my morning tea with a GOD?!??!

With all new beliefs it takes some time to nail down the specifics. Like is Mairkurian Earl grey or Green tea?

Not a god, Freehold, just an expert.

I've also been thinking about people who object to threadjacking. It's one thing if people come in and say, "I had popcorn for breakfast yesterday" and then you post, "Getting back on topic." But when your post actually addressed things that came up in the course of the discussion, or is tangentially related, responding, "Now to get back on topic" is kind of passive-aggressively ignoring someone's attempt to help the thread out. Unlike when I blatantly attempt to take control of a thread for my own transcendent purposes...that's totally different.

I'm green unless you ferment me. Then, I'm an awesome, taste-bud kicking, black.

You can be fermented? Big deal. We Jacks are fermented most of the time. It just happens in a different way. ;) *hic*

Remember, I'm a green man. Apologizing for infusing or smoking leaves is like apologizing to mere humans for killing and eating mammals. Enjoy the bounty of which I am the pinnacle. Also, I've awakened one of my favorite plants to get the bad taste out of everyone's mouth, so don't be surprised when it shows up.

Guys, guys, there's plenty of ways to enjoy Mairkurion without being Mairkurious...

Delicious. AND nutritious!

Heh. Apparently I'm not only Freehold's god, but he's a panentheist.

There sure are. It's bcause we have lives outside of "game theory" ad mathmatical equations that prove how superior we are.
