In this blog, we aren't going to try to sell you anything. We won't ask you to spend even one thin dime. Instead, we are today going to revel in the glory of Wayfinder #2, the Pathfinder fanzine written by the fans, for the fans. And I have to say after browsing through my PDF that this issue may even be better than Wayfinder #1, if that's even possible! This group of Pathfinder fans has put together 82 pages of awesome content that will cost you nothing to peruse. Zero. Zilch. Nada!

There's a lot of good stuff in this edition of Wayfinder. There is the Ritual of Stardust, an encounter at a Desnan ritual, by Elizabeth Lieb. Our own Crystal Frasier designed and illustrated some cool beasties for those in the frigid north. An article on the berserkers of the Linnorm Kings by vagrant-poet gives you a few new feats and a new rage power. There are four sidetreks set in Northern Avistan. Then it's back to Crystal for an article about the Crystalhue, an annual celebration of the goddess Shelyn. Ryan. Costello gives us a cool article on Kellid festishes and Hal Maclean looks into drugs of Golarion. Jason Sonia gives us a bunch of new achievement feats. An article by Set about thematic channeling will give you a ideas for customizing your cleric's channeling ability based on the deity they worship.

Done? Not even close. zylphryx gives us the Gunslinger class, and David Fryer gives us the Svartalfar, a new race. deClench offers the Dawnfly, invoving a couple of CR20+ creatures for your epic level games. A cool article from Arazyr on Darkmoon Vale campaign traits follows, with a collection of sorcerer bloodlines right on its heels. Another new race from The Eldritch Mr. Shiny follows, along with two new beasties! Taste of Golarion includes five Golarion-inspired recipes to experiment with in the kitchen. Ask a Shoanti is back giving questionable advice, and a crossword puzzle by Tom Baumbach rounds out the features! This volume of Wayfinder ends with an excerpt from Fat Jozka's Burnt Offerings stage play, illustrated with photos! That's a lot... yet I didn't even mention the fiction and poetry!

So what are you waiting for? Download Wayfinder #2 now and see how amazing Pathfinder fans really are!

No mention of Guy Humual's short fiction? Or Arron Miller's art?

Oh well

I guess everyone else's stuff was worth plugging

We didn't mention *anybody's* fiction, poetry or art (except Crystal's self-illustrated piece)... heck, just listing all of the rules-oriented stuff took two long paragraphs! If we had spotlighted every contributor, that blog would be three times as long. Everybody's name is in the product listing, though!

Don't worry—you're *all* our favorite kid.

Whoa, why did we have two threads created instead of one?

You both must have created a thread linked to it at the same time. This one has more posts, so I nuked the one you started. Sorry!

Vic, that's the second time you've done that to me! Does my service as your herald get me nothing???

EDIT: My post isn't there to be copied and pasted over here! My brilliant words lost for all time!

I vote for Mairkurion {tm}'s thread, I come across as less whinny in that one.

THANKS HUGO AND EVERYONE ELSE!!! ~stops my yelling as people stare at me as if I were a bit wierd~

See as I was reading through this blog thinking "Oh boy I might actually get mentioned in a blog entry" and then I get to the bottom and I see: "yet I didn't even mention the fiction and poetry!"

And I'm thinking "Damn . . . why did I write fiction again?"

Yes, yes, it's an honour just to be a part of this fabulous fanzine, don't get the idea that I'm not pleased as punch to see my story amongst so many other great pieces, but it would have been nice to have been mentioned. I realize that most people skip over the fiction. That it's essentially filler but you could have at least humored us poor fiction/ poetry contributors. I know we're what people flip past to get to the crunch but I (like the others not mentioned) did actually put a bit of effort into my piece. Anyways I accept the snub, we're pretty much the technical portion of the Oscars, but you should have at least mentioned all the artists . . .

This thread is not connected to link at the bottom of the store blog entry; it would be nice if it was so people could click straight from the store blog to here.

Guy: at least your words were preserved for posterity and not eliminated from circulation. Like, say, my compliments to the Wayfinder crew for producing a winter issue whose theme correlated with the season.

Continuing with my Oscar comparison you were just played off by the band. Next time keep your comments under two lines!

Seriously I don't know why Vic kept my comments but deleted yours. I'm sure yours were congratulatory but mine look like sour grapes. Oooooh, speaking of sour grapes: I see now that Guy Humual isn't even mentioned in the product info! Guy only appears once in the mag itself, and anyone who knows me from the boards is really going to need to be paying attention to see "Guy Humual" squeezed between my real boring name.

Kind of funny because I didn't even include my real name with this submission.

Drow

runs into thread.

Spoiler:
leaves note suggesting Guy to get a k00l avatar so people can remember him easier. picks up bowl of sour grapes.

runs out of thread.

There are no Humual-ish avatars though :(

Rat

But Guy

As a poet in the Wayfinder # 2, it is our job to be shameless self promoters.

That being said I encourage you long shanks to take up on some gnomish culture and read Word from Many Roads by your one and only....Mousefeet.

By the time I realized there were two threads, this one had three posts, and the other only one. Survival of the most verbose.

For the product page, I just copied the credits straight from the masthead page of the PDF.

Looks like that was anchored to your now nonexistent thread. Gary's fixing...

The Green Faith

Thanks, Vic. From this I learned:
1. Keep making posts to my own thread.
2. Pay a LOT more attention to the Technical Director. A LOT.

Sounds like Superman watching Lois Lane from outside her window creepy. Creepy.

Man in Dragon's Breath

Nah, it'll be more like a spiritual presence.
