"Come on, only three more to go!" Ferdinand lunges at the skeletons as he reinforces Flint's armor.

Minor, end Resistive Formula to give myself and Flint 26 temp HP. Standard, attack S1 with Magic Weapon(adjacent allies get +1 attack, +3 damage, weapons count as Brutal 1): 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (5) + 18 = 231d8 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8

Flint stanches the bleeding wound given to him by one of the skeletons.

Ferdinand buffs up Malick but his spear thrust is turned aside by the superfast skeleton.

Skeleton 4 steps forward and jointly attacks Ragna with 2 scimitars along with the other two.
Skeleton 1;
Attack 1 vs ac, 1d20 + 16 - 3 ⇒ (5) + 16 - 3 = 18, damage = 1d8 + 8 ⇒ (7) + 8 = 15

Wow highest roll was 11.

MAP

Ragna is up.

male human Resourceful Warlord/Commando Captain 13

Malick healed Ragna, Ferdinand buffed Flint.

Keeping my divine challenge on skeleton 1 (marked, takes 11 radiant damage and the person it attacks even on a miss heals 9)
Castigating Strike against skeleton 4 1d20 + 18 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 18 + 1 + 2 = 29 vs ac, 3d8 + 12 + 3 ⇒ (8, 5, 4) + 12 + 3 = 32 skeleton 4 and 3 are subject to my divine sanction until the end of my next turn (marked, takes 11 radiant damage if they do not attack me)

Male Gnome Illusionist Wizard 13

Rennik sends a phantom bolt at skeleton 1

Phantom bolt 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (13) + 15 = 28 vs will. 1d8 + 9 ⇒ (8) + 9 = 17 psychic damage on a hit and it takes -2 to its next attack roll and grants CA to the next ally who attacks it.

Ragna looks "holy" at skeleton 4 before smiting it with her big sword.

Rennik follows up with an illusory bolt to skeleton 1 that rends the skeletons non-existent mind blooding it.

MAP

Typhus is up.

Typhus summons dire radiance at Skeleton 1. Because he can.

Dire Radiance: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (8) + 15 = 23 vs. Fort;
Damage: 1d6 + 11 + 2d6 ⇒ (2) + 11 + (3, 6) = 22 radiant damage. If it moves closer to me on its next turn, it takes 1d6 + 10 + 2d6 ⇒ (3) + 10 + (1, 2) = 16 damage. Range 10, target 1 creature. (RADIANT and FEAR)

Typhus' dire radiance scorches the skeletons armor but doesn’t appear to have any other effect on it.

Flint is up.

Guarded Attack(Dagger) with CA, 1d20+19=36 vs S4 AC, 2d4+9+3d8+4=6+9+17+4=36 damage and if the target makes a melee attack against Flint before SOMNT, Flint can make a secondary attack against it as an immediate interrupt.

Flint reduces the badly damaged skeleton 4 into kindling.

"Quit cluttering up the stairwell."

Malick turns his attention to S1, twisting his halberd through the thing's ribcage and yanking hard.

Viper's Strike (AC). On hit, if S1 shifts before the start of Malick's next turn, Ragna gets an OA on it.
1d20 + 17 ⇒ (13) + 17 = 30
1d10 + 10 ⇒ (10) + 10 = 20

Human Artificer/Battle Engineer 11

"Come on, just two more!" Ferdinand steps to the side and stabs at the skeletons.

Shift to M14 and attack S1 with Repulsion Strike(vs Reflex, Lightning damage and -3 to melee attack rolls until EOMNT): 1d20 + 17 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 17 + 2 = 252d8 + 8 ⇒ (3, 8) + 8 = 19

Malick cracks more bone with his halberd blooding skeleton 1.

Ferdinand trantyr glances of the skeletons armor everly marring it's polish.
Missed it bt one.

The remaing skeletons shift to flank Ragna and attempt to end her divine compulsion over them.
Ragna get's an OA.
The skeletons slash at Ragna using all four of their blades.
1st, attack vs ac, 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (11) + 16 = 27, damage = 1d8 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10

1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10 - Perception

Scimitar wielding skeletons occupy Malick's mind.

OA Virtuous Strike 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (15) + 18 = 33 vs ac, 1d8 + 12 ⇒ (5) + 12 = 17, and I gain +2 to saving throws
percp 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10
Enfeebling Strike against S1, 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (18) + 18 = 36 vs ac, 1d8 + 12 ⇒ (7) + 12 = 19 the target takes -2 to hit against me and -4 if it attacks anyone else due to my mark
1d20 ⇒ 14 save

Ragna lashes out at the skeleton in two quick motions, before steeling herself and shaking off the drain from the minor cuts.

Male Gnome Illusionist Wizard 13

Perception 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 17

Phantom bolt on S1 (or S3 if S1 is dead). 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (18) + 17 = 35 vs will (-2 if it's against S3 because I only have CA against S1. 1d8 + 9 ⇒ (8) + 9 = 17 psychic damage on a hit, and it takes -2 to next attack and grants CA to next ally who attacks it.

Ragna attacks bring skeleton 1 to the brink of collaspe and Rennik finnishes it off with a bolt of concentarated thought.

Ragna, Rennik and Malick don't notice anything other than the combat.

Flint cuts down the last skeleton with a deft strike.

Flint:
You can hear and feel a grating and scraping coming from behind the doors like large stones are being dragged across the floor.

As the last skeleton falls the sounds of alarms being raised filter in from the outside indicating that Capt. K and crew are making their way to the Fluttering Petal.

Give me the order you're going to enter the control room.

Yup. That would be my fingers getting ahead of my brain. Or something.

Did you ever think that maybe the horses were evil and deserved to be scared?

Agreed, I have been stepped on by said evil horses

Bad Horse

I used to ride a lot and have the dentures, broken nose and leftover displaced shoulder muscles from a greenstick fracture to prove it. Smart horses tend to evil.

"You all hear that low rumbling, sounds like serious boulders being dragged, possibly to block the doors, we better hurry."

As you burst through the double doors you are greeted by the sight of a 10 foot tall man carved from stone and animated by glowing runes covering its body. Off to either side of the round room two heavy arbalests turn under their own power towards the doors aiming pool cue sized bolts at the party. Two human mages also turn their attention towards Oddjob, arcane power leaks from their wands in anticipation of the upcoming fight.

Does this count as a different encounter from the last one? I want to know if my/Flint's temp HP has worn off.

Male Gnome Illusionist Wizard 13

I believe we are in the same encounter until we take a short rest. Isn't that the definition? That would mean you keep your Temp HP but our encounter powers don't reset, which makes this gnome grumpy. I welcome the challenge though :)

No rest for you.

Radiant Sigil on Ragna's weapon(She heals 3HP with each successful attack and always does Radiant damage, she can end this with a successful attack to daze(save ends) the target and spend a healing surge), then attack the golem with Magic Weapon(on a hit, each ally adjacent to me gains +1 attack and +3 damage, weapons gain Brutal 1): 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (17) + 18 = 351d8 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 12

Also, Arcana, what can I tell about the golem? 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (3) + 16 = 19

Malick digs a deep divot in the golem while giving a quick pep talk to Oddjob shoring up their defenses.

Ferdinand follows with a smaller divot after boosting Ragna’s sword.

Typhus is up.

Typhus will level an Eldritch Blast at the Golem, while cursing its un-existence.

Eldritch Blast: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (20) + 15 = 35 vs. Reflex;
Damage: 1d10 + 9 + 2d6 ⇒ (10) + 9 + (2, 6) = 27 damage. Range 10, target 1 creature.

Edit: CRIT! 31 points of damage!

Typhus blows a large hole in the golem sending fragments of rock about. The golem although doesn’t even seem to notice the damage done to it.
