@Ferdinand – The golem is a variant of earth golem’s used to protect important items. It is capable of ranged attacks as well as melee. They have been known to go berserk and attack everything around them if they are damaged enough. Anything more specific you want to know?

Rennik’s illusions cause the golem to stager back under the assault of illusionary burrowing animals.

Divine Challenge Golem: You mark the target. The target remains marked until you use this power against another target, or if you fail to engage the target. A creature can be subject to only one mark at a time. A new mark supersedes a mark that was already in place.
While a target is marked, it takes -2 penalty to attack rolls for any attack that doesn't inlcude me as a target. Also, it takes 11 radiant damage and the target ally regains +9 hit points even on a miss.

Ragna shifts to the side of the golem and tries to redirect its attention with a wicked slash.


Ragna shifts and strikes dislodging smaller rocks and pebbles from the golem’s side.

The Golem in response unexpectedly explodes showering Oddjob in dirt, moss and razor sharp rocks.

Flint crawls through the moving dirt and rocks to get into range to throw his dagger at the slowest mage.
His dagger makes a high arc and lands with a solid thunk in the mages shoulder blade followed by a small squirt of blood and yelp of pain.

Angered by the knifing Mage 2 conjures up a black smoke ball that he throws at Flint. On impact the ball explodes into a poison filled cloud that covers all of Oddjob. The cloud fades fast but leaves a lingering miasma on those damaged by it.

The golem is strewn about the floor and reforming. It is insubstantial until it does reform on it's next turn. The Golem will reform within 5 squares of its last postion.

Staying low and restoring himself a bit, Malick crawls into the room and tries to pull the nearest Arbalest over, ready for demolition by Oddjob.

Activate dwarven armour and regain a surge of hp (free action)Crawl to K14.
Use AP. Mage grants CA to Malick to end his next turn. Paragon effect for using AP
Malembranche's Pull v Arbalaster 2. On hit, slide it to L13 and it is knocked prone.
1d20 + 17 ⇒ (11) + 17 = 28 - hmm. If that hits, then
2d10 + 10 ⇒ (1, 5) + 10 = 16 and Arbalest slides and is knocked prone
Still have minor and can heal someone if anyone is in a bad way.
1d20 ⇒ 18 - save v ongoing poison.

Oops. Sorry. Attack should be at +15, so that's a 26 and even less likely to hit. Forgot the -2 for prone.


Malick crawls forward and hooks one the Arbalester's 3 legs with his halberd unbalancing the construct, he then pulls at it forcing it to hop in a semi-cicrle just to stay upright. The Arbalester only manages to keep upright for a brief time before collapsing in a heap at L13.
The Arbalester has surprisingly light armor.

Typhus stands, brushing off his clothing. He sneers at the Arbalest 1, curses it and points to the sky.

Eldritch Blast: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (2) + 15 = 17 vs. Reflex;
Damage: 1d10 + 9 + 2d6 ⇒ (5) + 9 + (5, 3) = 22 damage. Range 10, target 1 creature


Typhus is preventing from standing by rocks and dirt flowing to the reforming golem.
Typhus' aim is off and misses the arbalest.

Mage 1 conjures up a snake made from ice that zips forward and wraps itself around Ragna attempting to simultaneously freeze and immobilize her.
attack vs reflex, 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (18) + 16 = 34, damage = 2d12 + 6 ⇒ (8, 8) + 6 = 22 cold and target is immobilized.

Arbalest 2 kicks at Malick and then scuttles away.Moves to H12, Malick gets an OA.

Rennik's 'dust' burns the mage and smolders in his robes blinding the mage with smoke.

Ragna is up, you can't move or stand and can only be moved by teleport or a pull/slide power.

The Golem reforms infront of Flint and tries to squash him with a boulder sized fist.

Flint is picked up by the hit and tossed back 10 feet.

Flint runs up to the golem while remaining on all fours and cuts off it’s pinky toe with a well placed dagger slash. For the first time the golem appears to notice the damage being done to it as it lets out a deep rumble of pain.

The second mage blindly fires off a magic bolt in Rennik’s general direction.
Attack vs reflex, 1d20 + 16 - 5 ⇒ (2) + 16 - 5 = 13, damage = 2d4 + 6 ⇒ (2, 1) + 6 = 9

Rising, Malick gestures frantically to Ragna and points out a promising position opposite Flint, before attempting to distract the golem with an attack on its ankles.

"C'mon Flint. Innards on the inside for you. Other way round for the enemy. Remember it."

Move: Stand up.
Standard: Blindside Assault (AC). Effect: Before the attack, you slide one ally 6 squares to a space adjacent to the target. The ally can then make a melee basic attack against the target as a free action.
Shift Ragna to K12 and she gains concealment (PP feature) and makes a basic melee attack on the Golem with CA from Flint.
1d20 + 17 ⇒ (8) + 17 = 25. Looks like that hits nothing whatever.
Minor: Last Inspiring Word on Flint. He can heal a surge and may either make a saving throw or take an additional 3d6 ⇒ (6, 1, 4) = 11hp.


I made a mistake on Flints attack, the attack should have missed the golem. However if Flint stood and attacked he would have hit. I’ll leave it up to Flint if he wants to stay prone and miss or stand and hit.

@Malick – that’s three times I overlooked your save vs poison, sorry.
Also how do want to shift Ragna? Do you shift him up around through the circle or down around past Flint.

@Ragna go ahead and make your OA and regular attacks as normal

Flint only thinks he cut a toe off the golem but it was just a loose rock.

Ragna follows Malick’s commands and gets into the right position where she can unload a flurry of attacks. Unfortunately the golems rocky hide turns all of her attacks.

Ferdinand’s throw flies true striking the arbalest in it’s gears giving it a awkward limp.

Typhus flame causes heavy damage to the golem burning away it’s soil like skin and fusing some of the golems larger stones together.

Mage 1 moves forward and fires a bolt of force at Ferdinand.

Arbalest 2 fire bolts at Malick and Ragna.

Rennik attempts to ensnare one of the arbalests in a magical sphere, reflecting its attacks back to itself.

Mirror Sphere vs A1. 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (5) + 15 = 20 vs Will. 1d10 + 9 ⇒ (2) + 9 = 11 psychic damage. On a hit: The first time the target makes an attack roll before the end of its next turn, it takes damage and is subject to all other effects of that attack as if it had hit itself. Any resistances and immunities of the target do not affect the damage it deals to itself in this way. It still attacks the original target normally.

On a hit, it also takes -2 to its next attack roll and grants CA to the next ally who attacks it.

Rennik snags arbalester 1‘s clockwork mind causing damage but also weaving a silvery glamour that reflects it’s own image over everyone else’s.

The golem stomps at the pests at it’s feet. Basic attack on Ragna and Flint.
Ragna, attack vs ac, 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (19) + 18 = 37, damage = 2d10 + 6 ⇒ (3, 5) + 6 = 14

Flint being the vicious brute that he is slashes deeply into the golem’s sensitive mossy nethers. The golem howls out in a mixture of pain and shock from Flint’s dagger assisted violation.

Mage 2 fires a force bolt a Malick, “Die, rebel scum!”
Attack vs reflex, 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (19) + 16 = 35, damage = 2d4 + 6 ⇒ (3, 2) + 6 = 11 force

Arbalester 1 moves to line up some straight shots on Ferdinand and Typhus.
