Flint darts over to Mage 2 and bloodies him with a deep slash of a dagger.
Mage 2 steps looking like a cornered rabbit ties to get away from the furry terror & the rightous paladin. Mage 2 screams out "Vol take you." and throws a glass vial on the floor. A black cloud billows up blinding everyone around him.

Typhus blasts the last mage burning him with it's power.
Between the rampaging golem, the ever increasing size of the fire and the sound of the tower collapsing around him drives the fight from him and replaces it with panic. The mage drops to his knees and starts begging.

Xabulba and all, RL has been crazy. My wife has gone into false labor a few times the past few weeks. I'm posting from the delivery room. This time it's the real thing. Back to the Game.
Flint lands another devastating blow on the angered golem. The golem even after all the damage done to it still looks sturdier than most brick homes.
Just as soon a Flint strikes a loud crash is heard and felt as the back end of a skyship plows through the towers wall. Any doubts about if the tower is coming down are dispelled as whole sections of the floors above come crashing through the roof.
The skyships crew throw 2 rope ladders over the rail and yell for Oddjob to climb aboard while they still can.
You need to make at least 2 athletics or acrobatics rolls avoid the falling debris and get aboard the skyship. Each failure will result in 2d10+10 damage from being hit by a large piece of falling debris.

Typhus glances skyward and lifts his head to the winds. "The darkness calls, but who answers? Who can avoid the thunder in the night?" He then explodes into a mass of swirling shadows and rises into the night.
Using Shadow Form: Assume a shadowy form for 5 minutes or until end of encounter. In this form, insubstantial, gain fly 6 and can’t take standard actions. Reverting is a minor action. Personal, minor action.

The athletics/acrobatics DC is only 15.
Malick can easily tuck a gnome under his arm and still get aboard.
Typhus in his shadow form can also get aboard with out any difficulty.
Ragna on the other hand has a burning cross beam fall on her as she crosses to the ship. damage = 2d10 + 10 ⇒ (8, 10) + 10 = 28
Ragna needs to make one more athletics/acrobatics check.

Ragna frees herself from the burning beam and manages to get to the ship while avoiding the rain of fire and wood.
The old adage 'Out of the frying pan and into the fire.' comes to mind as you board the skyship. On the ground dozens of archers and mages are firing at the ship and hovering above and to the port is a warship firing it's main lighting gun at you.
Inguard, the half-orc crewman, helps everyone aboard the Fluttering Petal and as soon as Ragna has hold of the later he yells "They're all aboard Captain." and you are thrown to the deck as the Fluttering Petal rises rapidly. A heavy thrum of power emanates from the elemental ring blasting you with unseen heat and force. Kayeron piles on the speed and maneuvers out from under the warship but not before it can drop half a dozen troops aboard the Fluttering Petal.
