Some how Typhus manages to set the golem alight as well as blowing another large chunk out of its hide.

Mage 1 summons up a orb of poison and targets Q10. The orb explodes on impact covering Ferdinand, Rennik and Typhus in a cloud of poison.

Rennik conjures an illusory wall to block off some of the ranged attackers.

Illusory Wall: I14, I13, I12, I11, H11, H10, H9, H8.

Effect: You create the illusion of a contiguous wall of solid material (stone or metal, for example). The wall can be up to 8 squares long and 4 squares high. The wall blocks line of sight for all enemies (but not your allies). When any enemy moves adjacent to the wall, you can make an attack (Intelligence vs. Will) against that target; if successful, the target cannot move through the wall on its current turn, but it can try again on later turns. On a miss, the wall no longer blocks line of sight or movement for that creature.

Xabulba, probably easiest if you roll those attacks: +15 vs Will.

Since 2 of them are already next to it, I'm guessing they need the check right at the beginning:

"I'm getting sick of these constructs. Let's finish this fight already." Ferdinand charges his spear with positive energy before hurling it once more at the golem.

Mage 1 skirts the corner of Rennik’s wall and pelts Rennik with a ball of force.

Arbalest 2 does an awkward 3 legged lope around the wall as well then fires at Ferdinand and Rennik.

Horrid Whispers centered between the arbalests.

1d6 + 9 ⇒ (4) + 9 = 13 psychic damage, and the target is slowed and takes a -2 penalty to attack rolls (save ends both). Aftereffect: You knock the target prone. Miss: The target is slowed and takes a -2 penalty to attack rolls until the end of your next turn.
Any that I hit also grant CA to the next ally who attacks them.

Sustain minor on the wall.

The crit only does max damage (15) - there is no bonus from my orb.

On the one that I miss, I activate my orb of deception feature to apply the horrid whispers to Mage 1 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (17) + 20 = 37 vs Will. If that hits M1, I also activate my orb: Power (Daily): Free Action. Use this power when an attack with this orb succeeds against the target’s Will defense. When the target makes a saving throw against an effect from that attack, the target must roll twice and take the lower result.


Rennik’s magic knocks over Arbalest 1 in a shower of sparks and the sound of grinding gears making it an easy target. Arbalest 2 only catches the part of Rennik’s attack that slows it down to a crawl.

The frenzied golem focus’ all it’s rage at mage 1 charging across the active circle and smashing the mage with rocky fists. The golem breaks the circle containment sending arcs of uncontrolled magic about the chamber.

The uncontrolled magic flaring around the golem’s feet causes its first strike to miss but the second hits with a solid thud sending the mage flying back ten feet into the center of the fourth circle.
The mage’s landing breaks the circle containment of the fourth circle sending more arcs of wild magic around the room.

The sound of timber supports cracking fill the whole building as the floor begins to move in a buckling motion. Small splinters of wood start falling from the ceiling.

Divine Challenge on Mage 2: You mark the target. The target remains marked until you use this power against another target, or if you fail to engage the target. A creature can be subject to only one mark at a time. A new mark supersedes a mark that was already in place.
While a target is marked, it takes -2 penalty to attack rolls for any attack that doesn't inlcude me as a target. Also, it takes 11 radiant damage and the target ally regains +9 hit points even on a miss.

I've been less than diligent is keeping track of my damage, but I just went back through and realized I'm at 19/92, bloodied and definitely need to take a second wind to heal 23 damage...

Typhus continues to ravage the golem egging on it's insane anger.
He however can't shake the effects of the mages poison.

Mage 1 struggles to get out of the range of the damaged circle but due to his slowed state can't make it saftey. He does manage to lob a ball of force at Flint.
