Can Rennick get out of the mist unhampered if he so chooses? If not, Malick can shift him out of there, with the tiny proviso that if he does so, Rennick will end up next to a zombie of some kind.

There are no zombies around (are you mistaking Flint or Typhus for a zombie?). M23 or N23 would be ideal. The issue with the mists is that I have to make a saving throw every time I move, and if it fails, I move in a different direction, so there is a better than even chance I could get out of the mists on my own, but a sure thing would be lovely.

I was thinking of Blindside Assault - the Commando Captain encounter power. It lets me slide an ally 6 squares to a square adjacent to an enemy. Wolf-pack is no use as you're not within 2 squares of Malick. Want to take the risk?

It's an effect, so it doesn't matter if he misses with the actual attack either. See below.

Effect: Before the attack, you slide one ally 6 squares to a space adjacent to the target. The ally can then make a melee basic attack against the target as a free action.

Theoretically the cure might be worse than the disease. All of the baddies are going to go before I get a turn, and I'm mighty squishy. I would say i'll try making the save again next turn. If Flint moves on his turn, which I'm sure he will because he'll want to attack something, I'll try to move one square into his space. That way if I fail the save, I'm not moving 5 squares further into the mists. (Incidentally, Flint could probably use that shift, since he's slowed, and you could move him into a flank with one of those flamey guys so that he gets sneak attack on that free melee basic, but that's just a suggestion.)

male human Resourceful Warlord/Commando Captain 13

Agreed, Flint or Mountain could both benefit from some Malicky goodness, but I just wondered if you wanted out badly enough yet. Mal has several juicy options available to him. If Rennick can get to the edge of the mist, Malick can Wolf pack him out. See how it unfolds.

Malick wrote:

An ally outside of the mist could use a power to shift Rennik out. Rennik could also use a power to get out of the mist, provided he still has line-of-sight. Someone could also toss him a rope to lead him out.

The mist causes disorientation when moving in it. One square inside equals partial cover, two squares equals full cover, and three and greater and you are completely lost. If you move in the mist and fail a save I roll a d8 and move you in that direction.

Another suggestion... The cold corpse to the north is slowed. If Ferdinand and Typhus attack at range and move away from him, we could force him to double-move and forego an attack, or if he has a ranged attack he only moves two so we stay out of his aura. He could attack or bring his aura to us, but not both unless he has some special movement abilities that we haven't seen yet.

I don't know if I can move. I was immobilized and haven't heard that I was out from under that curse.

The immobilization was an aura - it should have ended when the creature was destroyed.

I like Rennick's plan. If Malick wants to shift or move Flint over to N18 to provide flanking on both Flame corpses, he will gladly accept, I'm currently slowed so I'll have to be creative if I want to get over there on my own.

male human Resourceful Warlord/Commando Captain 13

OK. Malick will get funky with flanking when his turn comes up. He's also slowed, but he's got reach 2.

The immobilization was an aura effect. While immobilized you can only move with a teleport or moved by the effect of a power. Malik’s abilities to move allies around would work.

Ferdinand it's your turn.

Edit: Guys give me an attack strategy for Ferdinand to use if I need to play his turn.

I would say ranged attack against the remaining cold corpse (at-will or encounter) and move to N22.

Makes sense to me. Ferdinand is getting himself to college the next couple of days, he said he'd be spotty with posting.

Spoiler:
Care to sort out Tavar for me?

I couldn’t find a ranged weapon in Ferdinand’s inventory so I going to presume he has a backup Tratnyr and will throw it at Sgt. de'Dennith (I24).

Ferdinand charges his spare Tratnyr with Static Shock and throws it at Sgt. de'Dennith, missing him completely.

Sgt. Lasser (M19) and Pvt. Daermor(M20) turn on Mountain savagely beat on him with flaming fists but only Sgt. Lasser manages to hit once causing Mountain 9HP fire damage.
Two attacks each,

Square = Grasping Shadows (5 psychic, slowed)
Flint 31 (slowed)
Mountain 29 (slowed)
Lt. Galdal(cold corpse) 26 (dead)
Sgt. de'Dennith(cold corpse) 26 (slowed)

Malick 10 (slowed)
Pvt. Brandybottom(slavering corpse) 9 (dead)

"Just want y'all to know we're doing our best with that help you wanted. Flint, get yourself over here and put some work into ending the misery."

Blindside Assault. Before the attack, Malick can slide an ally 6 squares adjacent to the target (Sgt Lasser). The ally can then make a basic melee attack as a free action. That would be Flint, who gets CA.

Blindside Assault (AC) v Sgt Lasser (1d20+16=27, 2d10+10=18)

Using a warlord power that grants an ally movement also grants that ally concealment until the end of Malick's next turn. Flint has concealment.

Ferdinand's tratnyr is magical, so he doesn't need a back up. He can throw it and it will return to his hand. Also, any chance he moves to N22 after his attack? That way he can take advantage of the fact that Sgt. de'Dennith is slowed.

The tratnyr may be magical but unless it has the returning ability it dosn't return to the owners hand.

The returning property doesn't exist in 4e. PHB p 232 explains that any magic light thrown or heavy thrown weapon automatically returns to its wielder's hand after a ranged attack with the weapon is resolved. If you want to houserule it differently, though, you can. I would suspect that Ferdinand may have planned that way in his build, though.

You are correct sir.]

Ferdinand's attack hits de'Dennith blooding him and cusing a tempory weakness (-3 to damage until Ferdinand's next turn).

Flint, don't forget the Malick freebie (basic melee).

Male Razrclaw Shifter / Dhampyr (Half Vampire) Trickster Rogue / 12 (Shadow Assassin Paragon Path)

Melee basic attack (short sword) with CA, 1d20+15=29 vs flaming corpse AC in M20, 1d6+7+3d8=26 damage. +2d6=9 more damage if that flaming corpse was at max HP before this attack.
Flamboyant Strike (Dagger) still with CA, 1d20+18=26 vs flaming corpse AC in M20, 2d4+13=19 damage. Shift to N19 if Flint hits per power, and shift again to N18 as move action.

Save vs Slow, 1d20=4

Flint hits with both of his daggers cutting only slightly into the abnormally dense skin of Sgt. Lasser.
Sgt. Lasser’s only reaction to the attack is his continual plea, “Help me…help mee…

Mountain takes a swing at Sgt. Lasser as well, using the slight advantage gained by Flint's distraction to attempt a strong blow to the creature's face.

Crushing Blow against M20, challenge is staying on the other one.

35 vs AC, +2 bonus (included) from flanking.

22 Damage if it's a hit. +5 damage (included) from using a mace.

Man, invisible castle loves me for d20 rolls, but isn't that fond of me in the damage roll department.

Is the slow save ends? I forgot to roll for Malick if it is. Just in case ...

save v slow (1d20=3)

... he fails.

Typhus backs away from the advancing corpse (shift SW 1 square), raises his rod and says, "Undead thing! I curse thee by the light of the Cold Star!" (Warlock's Curse) and uses his Dire Radiance Power vs J24:

Attack: 1d20+13=26 vs. Fort

Damage: 1d6+10 +2d6=21 Radiant Damage

Male Gnome Illusionist Wizard 13

If Typhus's attack killed Sgt de'Dennith, then disregard and I will do something else. Since the corpse wasn't bloodied, though, I don't think it did.

Rennik determines to plant himself where he is, feeling decidedly more stable standing in place than he was when he was trying to find his way out of the mists. He can still make out the combatants, so he unleashes a psychic blast on the approaching corpse.

Vanishing Act on Sgt de'Dennith:
1d20 + 13 ⇒ (7) + 13 = 20 (vs. Will. Includes the -2 penalty.)
3d6 + 9 ⇒ (6, 3, 3) + 9 = 21 psychic damage on a hit and Rennik turns invisible again.

Typhus calls down pale lavender light which scorches Sgt. de’Dennith causing his features to run like water. de’dennith is now blooded.

Rennik quickly follows up with a stab of mental energy causing de’Dennith’s melted visage to crack and splinter.

Save ends slowed and immobilized.

Mountain is surprised by the first three of the attacks thrown at him. The creatures moved much more swiftly than he would have thought. He anticipates the last blow aimed at him bringing up his shield and absorbing most of the blow.

Using Unbreakable to reduce the damage by 10. Also, if those are versus AC, I've got an AC of 29. That would make it so only one hit me...which I'd still use Unbreakable against since all the strikes did more than ten. Though I could see that being reflex or fortitude, possibly.

"Let's finish this gentlemen. Dennith, time to go home."

Malick spins on his heel and moves between Typhus and Ferdinand, jabbing his halberd towards Dennith.

"Great, great. Let's try that again shall we ..."

Absent-mindedly, he reaches into his pack for a coil of rope.

"I know you're there someplace Rennick. Care to join us?"

1d20 + 16 ⇒ (4) + 16 = 20 - Viper's Strike. If Dennith shifts before the end of Malick's next turn, Ferdinand gets an OA on him.

That would be a miss then.

I'm guessing that throwing the rope would be a minor, but can you confirm DM.

Throwing a rope is a minor action but roll a 17 (15+2 for mist) or better to get it to Rennik, add dex.

Mountain slams his mace heavily at the still standing creature. His blows seemed to be hurting the thing, but not enough for his liking. That last flurry hat him could have hurt is more than one had hit him, so he aimed his blow to give him a slight defensive edge.
