So what are everyone's plans for this weekend?
Today we are taking the kids to a friends house for pizza, wings, salad, and a lil splashing around in the little pool. Haven't seen her all summer, shoudl be fun. An then tomorrow I plan on cleaning up a bit, finishing my final, and storming Fort Ranick. Then on Monday...nothing bt hanging out and gaming....should be awesome!!
Going to give my wife a break from overtime by going and picking her up at lunch and taking her out for Korean with my stepson. Labor, indeed.

Let's see, I'm the ONLY web person working at my company and we're re-launching our entire site on MONDAY. Guess what I'm doing this weekend. (Oh, and before you ask, I'm on lunch ;) )

Well, in about a half hour we're heading over to a friends' house. They're having a joint birthday party for the two oldest foster kids. So that will take the whole evening. And then tomorrow we're driving over to my father-in-law's house and spending the day there. He lives on a lake so the kid always loves going to visit. Monday will hopefully be a quietish day so I can get laundry done and have at least two dozen talks with the kid about acceptable behavior at school. Not that any of it will stick, but you know, I have to try and all that.

Oh, and did I mention that I'm currently running a very high fever? This weekend sucks royally. Last night I was so bad I was hallucinating. (Disclaimer: this is not uncommon for me with fevers over a hundred.) I've taken tylenol and this has helped some. The extreme chills have let up anyhow. Why do I always get sick when we have to do lots of social stuff?

We are going to grill hot dogs and bratwursts tonight and then grill some chicken on Monday. Plus we are taking the kids to the county fair on Monday and watching NASCAR tomorrow. Other than the county fair it is a pretty normal weekend for us.

The pork was so hot and spicy...oh man!
Kimchi can be all kinds of picked little edibles. They're like the Korean take on tapas. I tried all of them, but when the soup and BBQ pork arrived is when I really set to eating.

Never been to a Korean BBQ before. When I lived in Long Beach I did frequent the only all-you-can-eat Cambodian buffet that I have heard of. I wonder if it is still there.
