My money is on the Bull-man.

I am a packers fan, and therefore dislike the vikings, so I am with the bull-man

Har-har.

I think most people use the word affair when the relationship is both romantic and sexual. (Although, back in the day, a love affair wasn't necessarily extramarital, but could mean any serious romance. And making love included wooing. Go figure.)

When people say, "It meant nothing," they mean, "I had an itch and she was available to scratch it at the moment. The moment is now gone. Let us all be very adult and French about this....ghawn ghawn ghawn!" Or so I hear.

Yeah, Jane March was a very convincing Lolita.

I think "It meant nothing" is probably the worst thing you could say.

I've always like the story Lolita.... untill I had a daughter that is.

are you making fun of me leaf man

Because if you are

Spoiler:

No BOOBIES for you

Moorluck wrote:

At first, I thought the movie was just a soft-porn excuse to show hot teen action. But I've decided that the narrator and her younger self are not the main character in the story. Instead, she's going back and revisiting a relationship that she was too young (and screwed up) to recognize for what it was, until it was lost. Whacked out? Yes. Illegal in many times and places, yes. But he is the main character; he is the lover. It's saying something about a noble, though imperfect, character who is unrecognized for what he is because he is the Other, and because of the corruptions of colonialism. I was even more convinced of this when I found out the book is autobiographical. And it's okay, again, cause she's French.

So, to sum, your daughter is not French, and don't let your family be screwed up so that she is screwed up and then screws a guy 12 years her elder (in the book, 17 in the movie). No pressure.

Oh I still like the story, just not in the same way as before. I used to think it was a very sexy thing, but as an adult I see the tragedy in it..and the beauty of the story as well. If that makes any sense.

ok, ok, I will help everyone out, Boobs shall be set free, and I shall increase my strength to help the waves out and create the epic baywatch beach run possible, or should I stop blowing at the beach so the boobs will want to shed the bikini top that encases them? opinions

Sounds good, David. I wouldn't mind moving to the DC area, if I could find an affordable area that I like, or could afford an area I like...

Why I never! She is not even near being as big a tramp as I am!

And she's a good bit dumber than me to boot.... but then she's dumber than a boot too. ;P

RPG Superstar 2012

Yay! Packing for this weekend's trip. I'll probably be offline after this post, until Monday (barring some time I can sneak away while I'm at work).

Speaking of which (Monday, that is): Happy Birthday, Moorluck!

Moorluckian b-day spoiler:

Spoiler:

If someone could re-enact the Marilyn Monroe "Happy Birthday" song for Lord-President Moorluck, that would be awesome!

And speaking of work: I decided to take the lateral move at my existing company.

And speaking of nothing in particular:

Spoiler:

BOOBS!

SUU won their first game of the season. Sure we played a team that was a junior college just two years ago, but a win is a win. Particularly after the pasting that Air Force gave us for our season opener last year. San Deigo State, here we come.
