So, I've been listening to the audio of the Pathfinder Adventure Path seminar (thanks Graywulfe), and apparantly the city of Katapesh, where Legacy of Fire is going to be set, has Tiefling Prostitutes.
This is good. I want one in the modules. :D
I know that there are Tiefling prostitutes in Riddleport. I'm not to that particular part of the audio segment, myself, but that's my guess.
I strongly support the idea of tiefling prostitutes. And I especially like the idea of having them included in an art order at some point in the future.
I'm not involved in any of this*, but I can join the chorus I suppose. ;)
*well, there's one minor thing for later in the path, but we -really- don't want one of them as a prostitute. I'm not really sure how that would work on a physical level. Yikes. *shiver*
Ah this takes me back to the good old days of Planescape: Torment, and Annah and her tail, and the various ponderings and musings about said tail as the game went on...

I dream of a time when a tiefling can be a paladin and an aasimar can be a prostitute and none would bat an eye...
Said dream also involves that paladin redeeming that prostitute several times a night but that's a discussion for another forum.

An Aasimar prostitute would be a natural fit. They are usually very beautiful...dare I say 'pure'..with their +2 Charisma. Furthermore, they have decent common sense that can allow them to avoid the seedy streets and stick to the classy brothels, thanks to their +2 Wisdom.
A Tiefling paladin is also great. Showing themselves as an example of redemption for others.
No eyes batted here.....except for that Aasimar lady of the night. She's giving me the look alright...

Of course, it's too late to squeeze in some hot tiefling men into the art order, so you might wanna wait untill we get to AP 5. You know the one I'm talking about...

I am prepared to defer my gratification to AP 5 for the full art treatment, but would not turn up my nose as a mere textual mention in AP 4.

I would have found out if you mentioned it or not, quality is quality. It was all over ENWorld and you would have been after me to run an AP for you eventually. Stalking me with those beady eyes and slavering jowls, your fingers writhing together like a greased brace of worms as you breathlessly stammered, "Pathfinder...Pathfinder... Must...Have..." like a robot-building Renfield.
You'd be twitching outside under my window in no time, your torment only broken by an unnatural rigor that froze your limbs and held you rapt every time I stuck my head out and whispered, "Paizo." Or "Calistria and Zon-Kuthon" but I prefer not to think of that latter possibility too closely. ^_^

Isn't AP5 the one you guys said were going to be "standard fantasy fare" to launch the Pathfinder RPG alongside?

And what's not "standard" about prostitutes? Things must be way different at your work.
Man, what is with this place. On another thread I actually used the phrase "fiend-touched booty". But as far as tiefling prostitutes go, that's tame in my book. My PCs got under the skin of a perpetual villain who responded by buying the building next to theirs in Sigil and setting up a tanar'ri brothel. We shall not speak of what happened between that poor, poor kobold PC and that glabrezu hooker. XP

Paizo lured me here with honeyed words, quality, 3.5 loyalism, and a willingness to make product in the PG-13 and up range. It has nothing to do with stalking you.
That's just an added benefit. ^_^

Yeah, I'll definitely echo this point. While I'm not looking for outright porn (which tends to distract from the game, and well... anything else), I've developed a certain distaste for what I term a 'puritanical mindset' with regard to sexual themes or topics. I find it silly to stick our heads in the sand and pretend it doesn't exist, or influence things - if not outright hypocritical.
Thus, seeing PG-13/PG-17/and up rated stuff definitely strikes me as far superior towards a more 'puritanical' mindset. Paizo has done a good job, in my mind, towards this end.

Amen. It's not going to harm the game to see a fuller portion of the human condition involved therein. The kind of content-restrictive codes that the comics industry and TSR in the old days used to use never really protected anybody from anything anyway. No one was ever endangered.
'Explicit', 'graphic', and/or 'sexual' are not synonymous with 'gratuitous' and 'pornographic'.
As long as the art order is for male tiefling prostitutes we'll be good.
