WOOT! Brainstorms! ;)

I was trying to keep track of some stuff, but I was notoriously BAD at it. (Sorry) -_-

I did manage to find most of the last few piles of loot in the thread recently(ish), but I think by now we have either distributed it, or sold the last pile so buy/build what we wanted.

I can go through and take a look at my 'Loot list' that I had started, and if needed I can get it to you (somehow) :)

Thank you oh organized one! :)

No worries. We can always say you have sold everything to this point. That’s fine. But if there are any ‘party’ items I’d like to get a tally of them and who has them

Sovereign Court

Male hu-man Paladin

Oh I sure am glad that Karrin took out that giant after using her cheesy 80s lines on him. You look really stupid when you do something like that and then don't beat up the bad guy.

DO NOT STICK FINGERS IN CAGE

She’s a little DPS machine, for sure.

LOL,
Yeah, few things more embarrassing than using your 'final blow' lines, and the guy is still standing afterwords. ;P

I mean, ARNOLD never had that problem! ;)

I'm back from the boondocks.

Saw the DMPC post-- still fighting the same giant?

Yeah one left of the harassment party. Alessia is behind battling that one.

OK, sounds good. The fly spell lasts 10 minutes, right?

Yup. You’re effectively good for likely this entire battle

Wow.
I did NOT know about the Furyborn weapon enhancement. Nice.

Unless your on the RECEIVING end, of course,... :)

I really enjoy weird builds, and Alessia was pretty much built around two sets of odd feat interactions:

Furyborn enhancement + Hammer The Gap = escalating attack and damage bonuses

Undead traits (damage reduction & immunity to fatigue) + Bolstered Resilience = double-stacked DR with infinite duration

Oh I know a certain wizard who is SO hiding behind her a LOT more often!
:)

That is cool.

Granted, both Blayze and Karrin have more hit points, but a 32 AC + DR 6/- is pretty damn nice.

Shadow's Status

Much as I'd like Hamar to go toe to toe with a Giant, he's a Scout not a toe to toe fight guy!

I dish it out more prolifically when moving versus standing still!

Male Shadow's Status | Human Scout 6/Barbarian 1/Dervish 5 | HP=67/114 + -2 Levels| AC=23 (Variable) | Init. +6 | F +8 | Ref +15 | Will +10 | Per +19 (Darkvision)

Not quite as epic as this but you get the idea....

This scene is crazy :-)

Anyone else think it's a little odd that the ball of mammoth friendship is made of ivory?

Pure "DM Monkey Madness"
:D

Well, a giant peanut certainly wouldn’t work ...

So far it’s been fun. I think I calculated the encounter well. It’s probably the longest you all have been in combat rounds. Usually you’re done in three or less ...

Heh, yeah, we can dish it out once we get rolling.

Too bad some of us can't TAKE it as well as we give it. :P

(Yes, I'm talking about Squishy, I mean the wizard.) ;)

I like it! Seriously, whens the last time you played or read about an encounter with Giants AND mammoths? (And I mean, in hindsight, why wouldn't you?!?) O_o

:)

DO NOT STICK FINGERS IN CAGE

I had considered having some saber tooth tigers along for fun, but .....

Wait TRIP wasnt enough? You wanted to add the POUNCE?

Thats it. NEXT PbP, I'm TOTALLY taking the shapeshifting druid again. ;)

DO NOT STICK FINGERS IN CAGE

Ok folks, apologies for the delay. I’m going to post up some stuff today

No apologies needed! :)

LOL< talk to the Game-monkey!

I have no idea what splat book it came out of, but MOST of the wizard 'battle-centric' spells are also on the Magus list, so,... ;)

FOUND IT! A Kobold Press contribution

It is basically a double-strength Mage Armor spell, But 4th level.
I forgot about it's SIDE effects! Like:

Allies within 30 ft. and with line of sight to the caster receive a +1 morale bonus to saving throws and attacks.

Additionally, the elf lord’s battle armor may provide a +2 circumstance bonus to Diplomacy or Intimidate checks, depending on the visual appearance selected at time of casting.

:)
I luv this spell.

Yeah it's pretty awesome.

I have a couple of favourites that are stock standard for classes I take. This now gets added to the list (not that I play Wizards often, but I've been known to play Sorcerers). lol

I was glancing at some of the 3rd PP stuff yesterday, (SOme of it is original, some of it is re-flavored from 'old' 2nd ed stuff that vanished when 3rd ed came out!) ;P

Ever get the urge to to make a caster (Wiz or Sor or whatever) based solely on completely thematic spells? LIke most if not all of your spells focus on one theme only? (And I do NOT mean 'fire', burning hands + Fireball, etc I mean the cool or unusual or 3rd PP spells you dont see often.)

Some time I'll have to actually try it. ;P

Those 2 giants at the end of the 'path' on the map are still there?

Just checking before I pick the next spell! :)

DO NOT STICK FINGERS IN CAGE

oops. no those are the ones you killed

LOL, luv it! :)

So NOW I see them! :)

At this point Hamar is just going to direct the Alpha Mammoth to chase down the Old Giant and his Dire Wolves, I bet the Mammoth and his Herd want payback even without further prodding from me.

Pat:
The Barbarian is here to find a device that frees him from mind control, when this combat is over, Hamar is going to destroy that magic item or try anyway as he's no stomach for this type of abuse, especially of wild animals. Just an FYI ;-).

How many rounds until Alessia catches up?

I’m going to have to sit down and figure all of that out. You are flying, and iirc that’s 60’ / rd. You could cover the first map from where you are in about 1 rd, then about 2 Rds over the next map to reach the camp. I think. I’ll get firmer numbers tonight

DO NOT STICK FINGERS IN CAGE

I’m sad no one chuckled at my Back to the Future reference.

Oh I chuckled!
I just didn't POST my chuckle,...
(Unusual for me, I know) ;P

If it makes you happy, I DID get a vivid image of a giant doing a spastic dance surrounded by lightning. :)

(Think any bad guy in DragonBall Z, or the villain in Despicable Me 2) ;P

Sovereign Court

Male hu-man Paladin

I just assume that lightning bolts generate that much electricity. That's how much Back to the Future is integrand into my psyche.

The latest (and final) season of 'Agents of Shield' is about them time traveling through history to stop the bad guys. Making the usual 'AoS' mistakes.

I keep thinking that they could learn a few things from Back to the Future! ;P

I only saw the first season of Agents of Shield-- when you say "making the usual mistakes," would you say that they're better than, or worse than, the Stargate Atlantis team in terms of making obviously terrible decisions?

Sorry for the delay. My other games I can update between other things, but I need a solid hour at my tower PC to get this one set up. I am hoping tonight.

DO NOT STICK FINGERS IN CAGE

Shit is sorted. Those returning to the main area have their clocks.

Oh in the first season they were positively BRILLIANT compared to later seasons. :P

Think 'Original Series Star Trek Highly Intelligent Officers make Bad Decisions for NO Apparent Reason' type of things. (IE= BAd writing trying hard to be creative)
;P

IN this last season, so far they at least seem to be TRYING to be 'smart' in their decisions, but are actually faced with genuine, tough choices & dilemmas to navigate. (Think, 'IF you could go back and kill Hitler, would you?' type of choices.)

SO far they have hearkened back to what made them fun in the first place.

IMHO, of course, and the rest of the season is still TBD, so,... ;)

DO NOT STICK FINGERS IN CAGE

Lol. I think so. I’m going to give Blayze tonight to post, then we’ll assume she’s just holding action and we’ll move to the next round

And yes, Aged Wizzie has been watching too much 'DragonBall Z' lately, why do you ask??? ;P
