Khezial Tahr,
The fox armour could work for you, but the reason I was thinking about it and suggesting it to Terry was the Charisma bonus. Which could work for your character too; he's got a little of the fast-talking rogue thing going on. On the other hand, the otter armour screams rogue or mobile fighter. Don't know how much mileage you'd get from the swim speed, but the 5 minute Dex bonus is pretty sweet.
Anyway, I decided against the armour for Effan, afraid of losing spells on the armour check. You and Terry work it out if you want it. (I'm not sure he really does.)

no i am back , i am sorry to all again for the lateness of my returns, but i am slowing catching up on what i need to be doing.
It's cool. I've been having a hell week. My only vehicle needs an engine(oil light never came on and apparently the minivan ate the oil without any smoking, dripping or other signs) that I can't afford and isn't covered under warranty apparently.
I had my sewer back up into my downstairs bathroom. Badly. Had to have a new sewer line put in.My daughter is sick.
My wife found out that "she has done an outstanding job at work this year and that is why she won't get a pay-cut" and should be happy about no raise, taking over 2 other people's complete job loads in addition to her own job because of "restructuring due to the economy"...but her higher-ups will still be getting their bonuses luckily.
I had a landscaper take offense to my parking near my daughter's school for pickup and when I was extremely apologetic, he decided to ream me out with a ton of foul language (outside a Catholic school with kids getting into cars)and rudeness because he must have felt some power at my apology, and when I offered him the option to apologize back to me for the rude behavior or eat a fist....he chose option B and I obliged. Luckily I don't think that's gonna go any further but I am sorely disappointed in myself over it.
I got a parking ticket in Wilmington while working because they were gonna sweep the street and posted a sign saying from noon to 4 not to park there.....I got the ticket at 9:30AM.....pay $25 or take a day to fight it and still probably lose because I have no evidence? Option A, dammit.
All in all, this past week and a half has totally tapped my already depleted reserves, increased my credit card debt by 4Gs, and is tearing me apart mentally. What the f~!@ is next is my only question.
I may not be able to post for the game over the weekend but I do intend to get this PBP rolling again very soon. Please bear with me, guys. It's gotta get better soon or Fakey's gonna find a bridge! ;)

Bad run of luck there, Fakey. Your wife's case is why I hate management in general. They take care of their own but not the working troops. Got bagged the same way on a parking ticket in Boston. The meter said 2 hour parking til 8 pm. The street was posted resident only after 7 pm, but I missed that sign. I was pissed, but it wasn't worth the lost work to fight it.
This is just a game. Get to it when you can.

Seems bad luck is the only thing in great supply during these times. Pray you get the other side of the gold coin. Or atleast a bit of a brake to help you out.
I think we in the game can all take a wait as your life comes before any game no matter how much fun.
Agreed. Game's a game, life's well... not so obliging.
I too have been told that I am not getting a raise, and I should be happy about it (considering the alternative). Moons gotta go to waxing soon though :)

Thanks for the understanding guys. I should be be good to go now. I managed to get past most of the weird crap for now and I can pick up the game again and keep us moving along nicely, I think.
You guys rock.

That's a shame, Terry. You'd think that insurance companies would buld be behind new (hopefully more accurate) tests because then doctors could pinpoint treatments instead of trying something then waiting a week or three to see if it works. Hope things work out for you.

A question about bloodline levels: according to Unearthed Arcana, bloodline levels are to be taken at third, ninth, and twelfth levels for major bloodlines. Since Keegan's base class (scout) was not updated in the PFRPG rules, it is somewhat underpowered compared to the core classes (dead levels and such). Do I still need to take the bloodline levels?

I don't know. He's had things pop up we've discussed briefly in the thread before. About the time this absence started he told Aubrey's RotRL game they might need to run his PC for a while. (I lurk there. I'm a fan. Especially the Fakey-Heathansson realtionship. Funny stuff. )

I am so sorry guys.
I tried to drop out of the PBPs that I was playing in until I can get my stuff in order, hoping that by lightening the load I would be able to still run our PBP.....but it doesn't seem to be working out.I had a few unexpected, giant expenses pop up(bathroom sewerpipe replacement and flood, a new engine for a 2006 Caravan that I still have payments on, several uncovered, autism doctor visits for my son and a slew of medicines/supplements that have hit for several grand just name the really big ones) that drove my credit card bills up to where my family an I are having real trouble making ends meet and have me counting the days until I can get both kids in school and start working(fun time to try finding a job!) to help the finances and not totally screw our credit up or lose the house. On top of that my wife has decided that we aren't friends anymore, I guess, instead of circling the wagons and leaning on each other for comfort.
In short, my life is in shambles.
I am hoping that once I get working and iron out a schedule I will be able to devote the time back into our game that it needs (map updates is what is really slowing me down but also keeping track of things and having my head in it has been difficult too without time to get up to speed).
I hope you guys will bear with me. I love running this PBP and I really enjoy the players in it. If any of you need to bow out, I understand and wish you well. I can toss out a couple recommendations for replacements if desired.
But I haven't given up. I will have time again in the next few weeks to get back to business I pray. SOMETHING has to start going right.

Don't sweat it, Fakey. We're all rooting for you. As far as I'm concerned, the game can wait until you're ready to go again. Good luck.
If you need an ear to vent to kenner_tim(at)yahoo. I check it every 3 or 4 days so don't expect an immediate reply. Again, good luck.

Hey, Fakey, just picked up on this. Sorry to hear about all your troubles - it never rains etc. Hang in there and certainly Dravite will be available to you whenever you get things back together in my game.
