Lay it on me; am ready :)

When 4th edition first came out, I posted it on Canonfire and here on Paizo somewhere. Now that we have highly sensitive people who cannot entertain the idea that someone could have issue's with that game or its creators I emailed it to you.

For those intrested, the Smallville episode guest starring The Legion of Super-Heroes airs tomorrow night, check your local listings for time and channel. The villain is the man with the atomic ax, none other than Persuader of the Fatal Five himself.

I don't watch Smallville (as I really don't watch tv at all), but I really enjoyed it. Definetly exceeded my expectations. Garth was pretty immature but that happens a lot with people of their age (rage of maturity levels). Rock was quite the thinker, leader, which I really liked as well, and I think Imra was best represented in appearance. I though Persuader would have a bigger role though. They made a reference to Brainaic 5, stated that there were other Legionnaires and invited Kal-El to visit someday. Loved the close-ups and emphasis on the Legion Flight Ring. I liked that they showed the Kal-El's influence over the Legion. Didn't care for the Legion willing to kill Chloe but they learned from Kal-El in the end that there is always another way to solve things; they made it their #1 rule (so good show of influence there). I really hope this episode flies, a spin off would really be the greatest thing. I'd give the episode an 7.5 out of 10.

I have watched a few years worth of smallville; it is not to bad; I kinda like it; just got tired of watching reruns and I dont watch a lot of tv anyhow;

so far; have seen aquaman, flash, green arrow, a cyborg I think is or might become deathloc; scores of guys with super powers I dont know as dc is not my thing. All and all; has been pretty cool.

Wow, you were up late last night (or very early this morning.) Smallville is one of those few shows I wish I had started watching when it came out. I missed everything so I fiqured.."oh well". I did get the Legion from i-tunes though so I can watch it again (also taped it in the vcr.)

Powers in the game are coming along finally, took a week of vacation to work on the game, got my groove again I'd say. Very productive all in all. Starting to think about making the Cosmos Screen pretty soon. Don't have much to put on it yet though (as far as charts go).

Just watched the episode(DVRed it) TWICE. Loved it, even the wife admitted it was a good episode, although she made fun of the outfits...

Wife: What the hell are they wearing?
Me: A wonderful, if unsubtle homage to their original outfits.
Wife: They look like VOLTRON uniforms!!!
Me: What?
Wife: Look at them! Black, blue and red! All they're missing is green and yellow!
Me: That is NOT TRUE(pausing to think about Colossal Boy and I-Kid's uniforms).

It was pretty damn good. Liked Persuader, and the (word of the day) unsubtle homage to Jason they did when they focused on his mask. WUVED IT!!!!!

Freehold DM, I took the outfits they had on to be this...

Each was wearing clothing they felt would fit in with the 21st century so as not to draw attention to themselves, just as they did in Adventure Comics #247. They added their symbols to the outfits in order to feel a bit more at home (though really that was added for the viewship of the episode). They had semi-matching jackets in order to look like a team.

Persuader was really good. I didn't think he'd be muscular enough, but I was quickly proven wrong once they showed a good shot of him.

I agree. I thought their outfits were very much akin to something someone from the 21st century would wear if they traveled back in time to the 11th century- stuff that they've seen in books and learned in discussions with historians mixed with their own personal style. I'm sure a basketball star who travelled back in time(for whatever reason) would want their number somewhere on their outfit if they were so far from home.

Just picked up LOSH #50. A dark, dark day for all. Or at least it would be, if it didn't end so happily. I thought I would hate this comic, mourn the death of Legionnaires old and new and look forward to a fourbooting. None of those things happened. Truth be told, I kinda LIKED it. Loose ends were wrapped up in a relatively neat bow with only the slightest suggestion of wish-fulfillment, and while not every Legionnaire was featured within the story, enough were that I got the feeling of a genuine Legion Of Super Heroes adventure. Maybe that's what this issue, hell, this run, was meant to be- an adventure. Something with a definite beginning, middle and end. I'll have to sift through all 50 issues of this version to see if that's still the feeling I get.

In other news, I am working on keeping at least one of my promises- that of LOSH fanfiction. I was actually considering posting stuff here, as silly as that may seem, but I don't know if the good folk at Paizo would appreciate something so far off-topic. Still, I feel I would enjoy the criticism here moreso than anywhere else, so I may put something preliminary up. I have an idea what my first few issues/adventures are going to look like, but I'm trying to decide what person/tense they should be written in, or if I should try to describe things panel by panel. Ah, decisions...

I don't think this is going to be the end of the road for the Legion. Far from it, with Legion of Three Worlds out there. But I do think that the Legion will exist in some form or another by year's end. Any other thoughts on the matter?

Well I must say Freehold DM, out of the reviews of issue #50 yours is the most positive I've read. So far the reviews are coming in very poorly. I haven't read it yet, hope to get my issue on Friday.

As for your fan fiction you are missing a very important point. It is my personal goal to re-shape the entire Paizo forum and quite possibly company by slowly turning into a Legion of Super-Heroes forum/company. The seeds have been sown and now we must slowly let them grow. A little Legion here...a little Legion there...and slowly but surely, all these players of other RPGs shall convert to our life in the 31st century. So yes you should post them here. Truth is, perhaps you could post them on more than one site in order to get more feedback and multiple Legion audiences. I say the more Legion thread we throw up...the better.

Long Live The Legion!

I post my fanfic here, in the Bits of Legion business forum, but fanfiction.net also has a Legion category.

Frankly, I haven't actually looked at the FF.net stuff, so I have no idea how good it is...

This is a comic-book related forum, so I don't see any reason why a Legion-related fanfic wouldn't fit here, if you prefer our sparkling company to getting on stage in front of strangers for your fanfic debut. :)

Hell yeah, long live the g!%&&*n LEGION!

Just a little all-star humor there...

And yes, I do prefer your company to that of total strangers. This is the most welcoming site I've ever been to outside of the old days(read: VERY early 90's) of AOL. I'm not sure when I'll have something up but I hope to soon.

Super Speed, this seems like one really super power. I've seen the Flash tap several bad guys on the chin in what appears to be essentially one fluid action. I suspect Superboy, Supergirl, Mon-el, and Ultra Boy can do this as well but I would like conformation of this. Have they been seen doing this? If they can't, why not? Combine super speed with super strength and its a lot to consider.

Currently, I'm thinking about giving each character a number of actions equal to their Speed score divided by 3 (rounding fractions upward).

Feeble: Would get 1 action
Average: Would get 2 actions
Excellent - Astonishing: This is where most non-super speed Legionnaires would fall into, would receive 3 actions each.
Super: Such as the Flash (possibly Superboy, Mon-el, and Ultra Boy would receive 5 actions.

Alternatively, I could divide the character's Speed score by 2 in order to upgrade the number of actions possible.

Feeble: Would allow 1 action
Average: Would allow 3 actions
Excellent - Astonishing: Where non-super speed Legionnaires fall into, would get 4-5 actions when it is their turn.
Super: Flash, Superboy, Mon-el, Ultra Boy, would receive 8 actions.

I'm leaning towards the second option. One question I have though is would the Flash, Superboy, Mon-el, and Ultra Boy be about the same? I want to place the Legionnaires below the Flash because I think that it sort of undermines the World's Fastest Man if I don't. On the other hand, if they have the same power, they should be treated equally.

An action can be an attack, move, or defense. Thus someone with Super Speed who runs across an area and taps bad guys on the chin would use one action for moving, and the remaining actions for attacks and defenses.

If they forgo their ability to defend they must rely on their Luck (another attribute score) to avoid being hit. I would think that Super-Speed in itself would serve as a type of defense and therefore I may consider moving at Super-Speed sort of a free defense (it doesn't count against your normal number of available actions).

I was going to impose penalties to subsequent attacks and defenses; thus even though a character gets to attempt more actions in a round, each attack and defense becomes more difficult. If I don't do this I think those with Super-Speed will totally dominate the game.

Now that you have an idea of how I'm thinking of handling the number of actions in a round, do you think it will work with Super Speed?

Do Superboy, Supergirl, Mon-el, and Ultra have the same kind of Super Speed as the Flash, thus allowing them to hit several opponents when that players turn comes up in the game?

Would they be rated about the same as the Flash or should they be higher or lower in their Speed score? Remember, the scale goes from 1-19. I'm using 4-5 (average human), 7-9 (Average Legionnaire in non-super powered stat), and 15 (Superboy Strength) as basic measuring guidlines.

I do recall reading a comic many years ago 1977-1979 I'd say, possibly DC Present perhaps?) where Superman and the Flash had a foot race around the globe. I can't recall how the race ended but I know it was close. Anybody remember that story?

I agree it won't be the end of the road for the Legion. I just finished reading issues #49-50 and I had a lot to say about it. I wrote this post on the Legion World site (so Set you've probably already read it).

Here's my thoughts on issue #49-50 and the series as a whole.

Last night I read issue #49-50. I intentionally kept my opinion to myself unless I had something positive to say about the current Legion of Super-Hereos comic. After high school I stopped buying comics (I only bought Legion) but in 2005 I returned to and started buying the archive books, then moving on to the current series and finally back issues of other Legion comic lines.

My understanding is that the earlier issues of the current series were not that popular here on Legion World. When I read them I found myself laughing a lot at the humor that was interjected within and found it to be a welcomed change to the Legion comic I recall. I accepted the fact that characters would look different, possibly act different, that art had changed, names would be changed, and so on. I found the whole "Underager" idea silly and I thought the villain (Lemnos was it?) pretty boring/flat, but overall, I enjoyed most of the issues.

When they brought Supergirl back and I was thrilled. When it started out I loved it. I Liked seeing Kara (I still miss her and Superboy in my Legion). I accepted the fact that this was a revison and that things beyond my comprehension had changed with the DC Infinite Crisis thingy and so facts change on how characters meet and so on. Accepting it as something new I was ok with it. Supergirl's departure was a disappointment, I didn't like how everything was wrapped up so fast and neat at the end. The absence of Cosmic Boy I didn't like at all.

Then we moved on to the Jim Shooter issues. When I heard his name come up as the writer, I was thrilled. I thought to myself "This will be great". I thought things started out slow for the first couple of issues but I had faith it was building up to something awesome. I'd read the comments posted here by others and some I'd agree with, others I thought were greatly exagerated; some found nearly everything offensive. I tried staying out of the discusssions and debates because I wanted everything to turn out well and I do believe it isn't fair to throw arms up into the air and shout at the top of my lungs about things until I see the whole picture; so I waited.

As the series continued I found myself annoyed by the use of the futeristic swearing. It's not that I was offended by it, its just that it seem so out-of-place and came up way to often. These Legionnaires had way to much of a potty mouth. The implied nudity/sex bothered me as well because there was to much of it and I would have preferred it without. It didn't offend me morally, it's just that I would have liked the comic so much more if they had replaced the nudity with romance.

At this point I thought the plot was floundering and going nowhere. I also felt like I wasn't reading a Legion comic other than in name only. The Legionnaires spent so much time fighting with one-another, not just verbally but physically. I hated the attacks of Timber Wolf on the other Legionnaires. Had this been real and not a comic, that guy would have been kicked off the team so fast. I thought having him essentially look the other way when Projectra attacked Phantom Girl was horrible characterization and representation of what the Legion should be. He doesn't do anything about it, waits for Projectra to walk away, activates the emergency response on her ring, and walks away leaving her to bleed to death. Obviously he wanted others to find her or he wouldn't have done the ring thing, but still, him not doing anything about it and even worse, walking away afterwards had to be about the worst characterization of any Legionnaire I have ever seen. I guess I wouldn't want someone like that on my team much less serving as a protector of the planet and galaxy. Terrible writing and portrayal of what the Legion is all about.

This was all to different from the original series for me. Now I understand that such changes were intentional and that's fine, what I am saying is that I never warmed up to those changes. Then we get to all the rumors and in house issues with DC starting to come to a head. The comic is cut short by what 4 issues? Not good.

I had hoped that with things not working out with Shooter, that DC would have let him finish his story. Even though I didn't enjoy his run (other than a couple of issues); even though I liked where he started to go with a plot, and then ended up hating the direction he eventually took it, I thought, "Let him finish before you bring in a new writer." It turns out that DC decided to pull the plug on the comic totally, another call I didn't like. I had hoped another writer would come in and hopefully turn the comic into something I was liking a lot. Guess it wasn't meant to be.

So much of this series I didn't like. Plots were left daggling and unfinished (not completing the Projectra plot I thought was the worst thing). I don't really care if they bring her into the Legion of 3 Worlds as a bad guy now (I'd rather they just forgot about this series entirely). I'd rather they just let it go at this point and not bother to wrap up loose ends in another comic.

So here we are, even though I didn't enjoy Shooters storyline overall, we come to a crash landing. DC most likely changed the ending considerably. I found the whole data ripper concept "ok" up until it was clear there was no villain behind it. "SPLAT"! Not having a conclusion to the Projectra plot "DOUBLE SPLAT"! The constant fighting between Legionnaires "THREE SPLATS AND YOUR OUT"!

So where does this leave me? Well I don't plan on going away again that's for sure. The entire time between high school and 2005, I regretted not buying Legion comics and keeping up with it. I remember waling into the store and looking at them on the shelf, seeing how everything had changed and I figured I was so far behind the times that I'd let it go. I also felt kinda silly buying comics again, so I didn't. I won't make those mistakes again.

My patience with Legion and DC may be longer than others but that's most likely due to the fact that I've been gone for so long. I'll continue buying what Legion is out there and enjoying what I can from it, leaving the rest behind. I'll continue working on my game and eventually include these different versions of the characters as well.

So regardless of how this series ended, I do believe another will rise from the dust. My hopes are that rather than restart the series over again I would like to see DC simply start new adventures, using the original characters and saying "These adventures take place between these two points in time of the original series. I would like to see the DC company look forward and backward into the original series and direct their stories to line up with the eventual history that has already been written. I don't care anything about how the Crisis things changed the DC Universe and how it affected the Legion. I'm simple, I just want good stories, no long story arcs (3 issues per story, with the 4th issue sort of a spotlight on a couple of characters, then moving on to another 3 comic storyline). Yep, I'd be happy with that. Do I expect this? "NO" of coarse not. Do I expect DC to do better than this last series? "Absolutely". Do I expect DC to learn from thier mistakes? "Of coarse I do".

Oh boy, its Sunday late afternoon and I'm actually going to play. About time.

I had a nice, long response to what you wrote all ready to go, except THE F()W)($)(*ING POST GOT EATEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111111111

Long story short, while I don't agree with everything you said, I completely see where you are coming from. Me, I like the futuristic swearing(raised on Shadowrun)& sex (I don't think we'll ever agree on that one, but I understand that you wanted a younger Legion- I may switch up ages in my homebrew to address this issue for you. Also, what exactly do you mean by romance?) although I can see how someone wouldn't care for it. Thank you very much for pointing out that not all of the storylines were wrapped up- how did I miss the T-Wolf thing! To me, he took a gamble on Apparition surviving her wounds, and went off to make sure Projectra didn't kill anyone else...but with the series ending prematurely, we'll never know. To me, the last three issues were another case of a writer moving in a certain direction and being forced to slap an ill-fitting ending on because someone upstairs *cough*DiDio*cough* decided it wasn't profitable. Maybe I whipped out the rose tinted glasses and looked at it a bit optimistically because I knew the end was near. Still, like you said, it wasn't all bad, just not stellar. Either way, our stuff will be better :-D

What do I mean by romance? In the adventure comics, I was more than happy with seeing characters spending time on dates, having dinner, a walk through the park that sort of thing; I'd like to leave the rest to my imagination. I don't find it offensive at all, I just prefer the lighter side of things because that's what I grew up with.

I'm glad you enjoyed the story and series, I wish I had more than I did. I've been out of comics for many years and they have changed considerably since I was little; so for me there might be a "getting adjusted to" time. I still yearn for some of the old. I definently want shorter storylines; a 12-15 month storyline is waaaaay to long, when trying to keep track of it in a monthly comic; although it is kinda nice when I buy the graphic novel version.

What I do like about the newer style of comics is that the plots are more detailed and technical. Mr. Shooter's version of the 31st century was sci-fi and that I really liked. I got some of that in the mid to late 70's as well, but this stuff goes well beyond that. So that's a plus as far as I'm concerned.

So our stuff is going to be better? I hope your right. I know yours will be.

By the way, we played Legion of Super-Heroes tonight. Things worked out pretty well. Invisible Kid was able to take down Charma because he kept making his Psyche rolls against her power. Phantom Girl's about to square off with Grimbor the Chainsman. This all is taking place on Takron Galtos.

well, there are several ways to think about the action you described of hitting several people. Instead of considering it a power of speed to hit several people; think of it as pure mechanics; how would you buy a power that has the effect of hitting several people in an area.

Area affect and tie it to your punch; so you can punch in an area affect and tie that to strength if you like for damage; area effects can be bought with advantages and limitation such as hits some targets and not others; hole in the middle to simulate a circle; all kinds of things. This is just an example of what I said about a year ago about not over complicating a power by what it looks like with how a power function. The fact that these speedsters do it is just helps tie the powers together for an elemental framework called speed.

my read of your hitting multiple targets is mechanic; area affect power; hope this helps as thinking out of the box can simplifiy your game from getting to complicated.

I like your idea. I'm going to give this some thought and do a Super Speed write up using this direction of thinking; see how it turns out. I like really like the idea of considering it a area attack. It has a lot of potential to move play along quickly. I will just want to make sure it includes the right variety of outcomes that I'd like rather than it all worked or nothing worked outcome.

I'm not worried about the game being to complicated in the long run. Personally, I like rules but one of the goals was to move play along faster than D&D and my Top Secret/S.I. did, but at the same time retain much of the depth the Top Secret/S.I. had after I finished rewriting that Players Guide. Other goals I set out for myself included: Fast NPC creation for everyone but villains and major henchman. So far this is looking pretty good so far but I have tons of ground to cover so we will see what happens. One of the main things I hated about D&D was trying to create an NPC or modify a moster, way to time consuming. Perhaps I was merely inept at it and others could whip a quality NPC out in 3 minutes or less, but not me. I don't mind character creation taking a long time or villains and major henchman because they will be around for a long time and should have great depth to them.

So far mechanically, the die rolls are faster than the other games I've mentioned. The slow part is the familarizing oneself with the ideas/rules and not over evaluating every little thing as well as making things up on the fly to handle things not covered yet. Example: How exactly Charma's power worked and what the effects were when she was defeated (but not unconscious) by the hands of Invisible Kid. Example #2: Would Grimbor's chains have any effect on Phantom Girl?

Handling this sort of thing took more time than the dice rolling, so that was good.

hehe you know me; just trying to help give a new perspective and way to think about powers and how they fit into a game mechanic; glad you liked it :)

hehe try to make a character or some npc for rolemaster sometime; whew; that is the worst; especially since there are so many character classes. Just making a level 2; 5; 10; 15; and 20 th level fighter takes hours. Talk about feeling under appreciated as a gm; after you do an adventure for that game your to sick of the system to play; well; almost hehe.

My Rolemaster experiences are very limited (less than 8 games I'd say). Chart after chart after chart was my impression. I served as a player but didn't get much out of it. I've never been a fan of games that don't allow lesser NPC's to be rolled up at a moments notice. Short cuts built into the system I can understand but games that are level based like D&D, then class, etc. really take the wind out of creating a lot of half-way decent NPCs in a minimal amount of time. Sure there are some players who will disagree with me on that and tell me a quality NPC can be rolled up in 3-4 minutes in D&D, but oh well, glad they can do it, I wasn't able to. Guess it depends on what your looking for. Top Secret/S.I. had generic thugs, agents, terrorists, etc. of like 3 different degrees of compentancy. The only thing is you had to accept that each is the same. Any important NPC you hand created. I was ok with that for Top Secret/S.I. so I figure I can go that route again, plus I'm intenionaly building in some short cuts for the mass amount of little guys. So we will see how it turns out in the long run.

I completely grok the sentiment. I feel the same way with respect to the vast majority of Marvel comics that are out there nowadays, especially the X-Men...god, what happened to them?

I'm glad you enjoyed the story and series, I wish I had more than I did. I've been out of comics for many years and they have changed considerably since I was little; so for me there might be a "getting adjusted to" time. I still yearn for some of the old. I definently want shorter storylines; a 12-15 month storyline is waaaaay to long, when trying to keep track of it in a monthly comic; although it is kinda nice when I buy the graphic novel version.

I think graphic novels are quickly becoming the standard for the more serious comic collector. Perhaps it's because of the ease of storage, or maybe America has really gotten into the tankobon format. I'm old fashioned in that I love going to the comic book store weekly to hang out with the kids(yeesh, some of them even look up to me...), but as I start to run out of longboxes I regard graphic novels with much more of an appraising eye...

This is one of the few times the future looked like the future, not the present in weird outfits. I liked that too.

So our stuff is going to be better? I hope your right. I know yours will be.

I don't think I've ever been complimented so highly on this or any board. Thank you so very much- you literally made my day! I pray I will exceed your expectations!

This is what roleplaying games are all about. Not which system is the best or which setting is the coolest. It's about taking the game and making it your own, turning the very concept of an RPG itself into something wonderful. I envy the people in your game, Eileen- maybe you can create a post (or better yet website) cataloguing their adventures?

Good point, that's what that thread is for. I know I'd read it, but putting it up on your own website would probably get more people from Legion World and other parts of the internet involved, although that may or may not be a good idea.

The rules for advancement are reasonably complete. If anyone is interested in giving feedback on them let me know. I'll probably email them to you because of length should anyone be interested.

I know nothing about starting or running a website.

Would anyone out there be interested (willing and bored enough) to read some of the rules I have. I'm looking for someone who would actually read the information and not simply skim it over. I'd like to get feedback on mechanics and the overall Legion feel of the game. I would email you a chapter at a time. Freehold DM, Set, Chris, would any of you have time and be the least bit interested in a feedback review? Anyone...Anyone...

Hey, sorry it took me so long to post on this thread, I got caught up in comiccon stuff and work has actually been surprisingly work-like of late. I've more or less been coming home and passing out on the couch, waking up for a few moments to stumble to bed, and then waking up again a few hours later to shower and go to work again for the past few days. This is the first day I've been up and running in something reasonably approaching normal on a non-game night, and it feels great.

Yes, Eileen, I would LOVE to see your rules, especially since I found yet another MSH book lying around the house the other day. I think I'm up to speed enough to offer you some real criticism- unlike a certain other thread I could mention...

I FINALLY picked up LO3W #3 and I am loving it. The body count is getting a bit high for my tastes(is Invisible Kid II dead?), but it's still quite good. Seeing the two *other* versions of the legion halfway through the comic show up to kick some ass was great, as is the constant bickering between Brainiacs. As usual, I'm looking forward to picking up the next issue- I think this is far and away better than the monthly comic.

Finally, I am still working on the Legion fanfiction. I'm thinking of listing it under the Projects part of my rpgbomb page so I don't lose momentum. Worry not, however- I still plan to post the stories themselves here for all to enjoy.

What's going on in your lives, Legionnaires?

Of course I want to read them, do they come in As-best-toes?

Sigh, Lost Again! I don't get it? As-best-toes?

Were you talking about my rules or Freehold Dm's fiction?

Is this project still on? I've checked your RPGbomb page and didn't see anything up yet.

I've never been more honored than I have been right now, knowing that someone is visiting my RPGbomb page. Thank you, Set.

Yes, the project is still on. I've been a bit delayed in that I have recently taken on a second job(read: my DREAM JOB) doing sex research with a local college. I quite literally just started last night, and I spent all nights leading up to last night worrying over how things were going to go with the new job. My friends laughed at me saying that I was about to kiss my social life goodbye, and I laughed at them for a while- until I realized just how long I was going to spend communting to this second job! I will take my laptop with me, so I hope to have something up in this thread soon in the coming weeks as I reconcile my writing with a considerable workload. The first thing I've been working on has been the rather comical soundtrack, and a slew of e-mails to Eileen on her LoSH RPG. Don't worry, it's coming.

In that case you might want to cross over and be Magneto since he spent an awful lot of time with a scantilly clad and depowered Rouge in the Savage Land years ago wich makes him the only man to...well you know.

And I agree with the X-men statment, except recently the stories getting real lame...*ticked they killed Boom-Boom the way they did*

Oh yeah in the latest X-force the Leper Queen just puts gun to her head and Bang kills her while Tabitha just sits and cries what BS is that. Not even to mention the depowering of Jubilee.

*clutchs his older comics to his chest*

That is complete and utter BS. I didn't mind depowering Jubilee, I really liked her, her new powers, and her new perspective in New Warriors before it got cancelled. Still, Boom Boom dead? That's just messed up.

Yup even shows her layin there with a bloody hole in her head on the last page.

Okay, 15 more slots to fill and I will have the soundtrack up for the Legion of Super Heroes! In the mean time, here's a preview...

Triplicate Girl: “The Signal In The Sky” by The Apples in Stereo from the Powerpuff Girls Soundtrack

Phantom Girl: “Been Caught Stealing” by Jane’s Addiction

Timber Wolf: “Bark At The Moon” by Ozzy Osbourne

Wildfire: “The Flame” by Cheap Trick

Tyroc: “Scream” by Michael Jackson

How can you not pick 'We Are Family' by Sister Sledge? I mean the songs' got a lyric, 'I got all my sisters in me!' which is what Triplicate Girl is all about! :)

Freehold DM wrote:

This doesn't feel right to me. Something about disconnection or one of the songs about a ghost watching over people like Ghost in These Walls or I'll Be There might be more appropriate.

Ooh, awesome song (my favorite by them), and, given the angsty nature of his relationship with Dawnstar, kind of fitting as well.

I must listen to the wrong kind of music, I don't recognize any of these. Perhaps I should check Freehold Dm's songs out on you tube.

Of coarse you don't recognize the songs, you listen to the 80's pop rock crap all the time.

Evil Eileen, you are in error.....Beep...According to Science Police regulations you are in violation of anger management....Beep....I will procede with immedient therapy with you.....Beep...Let us begin with your early childhood...Beep...

I always got a Triplicate Girl-esque vibe from the PPG, so I thought it was fitting. We Are Family is good, however, I think that should get an honorable mention, attributed to you, Set.

In terms of Phantom Girl, yeah, it's hard. There just aren't that many songs about intangibility out there. Still, this one pays homage to her larcenous past(at least I think it was semi-larcenous). If you have a song that you think works better(I don't think Ghost In These Walls or I'll Be There work), please send it my way...she was a toughie! I think I will have "Come on Eileen" in there as an honorable mention for our dear Prophetess.

Glad you liked The Flame for Wildfire- it IS angsty, but it's also kinda what he's made out of. I'm still trying to come up with some more songs for the harder ones out there. Not too many spots left though, so it should be up soon.

I would have thought Spirits in the material world for Phantom Girl.
