Woo!
on this page: https://paizo.com/starfinder/warframe it says $8.99, but here it says $9.99, one might need a fix.

Bungie, take notes - this is how to be badass. I personally think a Destiny crossover would be a better fit (literal space magic and godlike beings and whatnot), but cool nonetheless.
This was only made possible because Luis Loza was able to reach out to Digital Extremes last year and got the ball rolling. I'm sure if Paizo had a way to contact someone at Bungie who were interested in doing a similar product, something from Destiny could happen!

I am beyond excited for this, even got me back into Warframe.
Looking up, I might have said the same before but that was ... a couple dozen hours of Warframe ago, even broke down and bought the skins for the protoframes..
We love to see this! Thanks for supporting our friends there!!

I can save Maya some time and tell you the answer right now. Like most of our adventure products, this assumes you have the core books already. You will need Player Core and GM Core to fully run this, though all of the enemy stat blocks are already in the adventure.
I appreciate the answer. It doesn't affect me personally, but I had wondered if a crossover adventure would be streamlined enough to be run by itself, but at the same time didn't want to make assumptions.

By way of sanctioning, I know Adventures no longer count for Organized Play. I also realize that this book is set outside of the traditional Starfinder setting.
Do character options appearing in this book (feats, spells, equipment, ancestries, etc.) appear valid for Organized Play character options?
I know nothing about Warframe and won't likely play the adventure for no Organized Play credit when it doesn't include any Starfinder official lore or story I need to keep up on.
But if there's going to be an Ancestry or some feats/spells/equipment or something that are only accessible by owning the PDF, I'll get it just so that I'm not missing options.

Not sanctioned for Organized Play but still usable info for your own other Starfinder adventures!

I take it this is not canon to the Starfinder Universe, right?
Nope! Also, to note, I heard that the product WON'T be released under the ORC license, so all content in it will use standard copyrights (and thus any stat blocks probably won't be in AoN or any other online SRDs).

That will make it harder to run on Foundry, but not impossible, just more prep, still quite unfortunate.

Yeah, that's what happens when working with IP licensors, and the more they do it, the more we will see how much Paizo is an outlier on that front.

Why is it yesterday the PDF was listed as available today and physical pre-order as unavailable, but today the PDF is unavailable but you can now pre-order the physical book ... though there's no release date? And no way to add it to the cart....
It might be a time zone's issue, while it is afternoon on release day here, Paizo workers might still be drinking their first coffee. I would give it some time, even if the physical version is a surprise and maybe a mistake.

Fair point. I just wouldn't expect something to change to 'unavailable' and not just still be listed as before. (I am assuming that the lack of ability to add to the cart is a time zone issue as they are Pacific US.)

I have asked! A couple things here:
1. Our website does not allow for pre-orders for digital goods, which is why the PDF says unavailable. It will become available at the time of product launch.
2. The time of product launch is 9:01AM PT! This is in a little less than 30 minutes from now. Both versions, physical and digital, will be available then.
Crisis averted!

Actually, having downloaded it, while I appreciated the alterations to the existing flip maps used, I really would like to use them for VTT use or print them but all the graphics in the pdfs are pretty rough-looking. Likely while the thing is under 3 MB.
Can you maybe ask if we can get an updated version, this is looking rougher than I am used to from Paizo, and looks a bit ... unpolished for what I hope to be a good partnership.
