Take on the role of an elemental sovereign, shaping the very nature of reality in this fast-moving board game!

2 to 4 players take turns to draft and play colorful (and colorblind-friendly) hexagonal tiles to match specific patterns and meet their own secret objective. With several dozen pattern cards, variable objectives, and a game state that's constantly in flux, you'll never play the same way twice. Simple setup, easy-to-learn rules, and a short play time of around 30 minutes means there's always time for one more game…

Fun with great replay value.

5/5

Every time I play this game, it goes differently. The combination of secret objectives presents new challenges, and the communal resource management makes for fun interactions. Thematically, it feels like you're playing in the Pathfinder setting, but doesn't require any insider knowledge to play or enjoy.

We recently introduced our 6-year-old to the game, with the elemental sovereign cards and objective cards removed. This made the game more accessible and was just as fun.

Fast and fun

5/5

Got a chance to play this at a local con. After learning the basics it played out quickly, and is a fun game that while basic to pick up, clearly has a lot of depth. Add on the top notch design and illustration, and I'd definitely recommend Elemental Stones for board game night.

Excellent Board Game with Pathfinder Branding

5/5

Me and my group had a wonderful time with this board game as it is a fairly straightforward game to teach and plays out at a pretty good pace. I had a few hiccups explaining the game, but I think I would be able to teach it much better going forward.
It feels like there is a good amount of player interaction with our first few games. Players can affect one another, but it feels less from direct sabotage and more toward players working on their own plans.
I do wish it could support one or two more players, but that is only because of my common group sizes. This game works very well for 3 players at the very least.
The one complaint/comment about the game though was that the Pathfinder branding feels very ancillary for the product. Not that we wanted more, but that the game is great regardless of the branding.
I look forward to being able to play this more going forward.

HUZZAH!

I love boardgames, and games with tile laying elements like Carcasonne & Azule. I saw it was to be demoed at PaizoCon, but can't make that one.

I've been liking all the content in PF2E that I've gotten, so I want to buy it, but can't justify $20+ shipping for a single game. Is there a way of getting some bundled shipping if I can add to a high enough order total like $100 or something? Or should I ask for a local gaming retailer near me to see if they can order it and mix it with their upcoming purchases if they can get a better deal?

I had fun playing this at PaizoCon Online. It is both easy to learn and play but also has depth available for those who like to strategize. I am looking forward to introducing my friends to the physical product.

Will this ship as part of October subscription content or November? The Release Schedule says this is a November release but this entry says October (I guess it technically says both at different spots). This is in my Sidecart and I try to make sure I have $100 worth of items coming every month (subscriptions + Sidecart) for the shipping discount. I just want to know if I need to add anything to my Sidecart to reach that $100 minimum for October.

Hello!

This product is slated to ship out with the November release products with a street date of 11/15. However, due to the way our system reads dates, because we need to start authorizing November subscriber orders and preorders by a certain date (10/26) the website also displays "preorder expected October".

(I know, clear as mud. Sorry about that!)

Very sad. I am really looking forward to playing this and sharing it with friends.

Thanks for keeping us informed.

Is this an "in universe" game that is played by people on Golarion? Given that it looks like it is just five elements, I'm guessing that if so it would normally be played in Tian Xia?

A good, quick game sounds very fun though, I'm glad to see some people got the chance to play it and speak well of it. Sometimes we want a game but don't have the spoons (stones?) for a full blown evening of Arkham Horror or whatever.

Elemental Stones is referenced in Highhelm. That’s not to say it is not played in Tian Xia.

Any chance we get to see a bit more of the game soon so we can preorder it? It allways takes some time to get it here in germany.

Yes! It should have arrived in the warehouse now so we are planning Twitch and blog previews in the new year.

Does the existence of this video imply a Tabletop Simulator version is coming too? Because I’d gladly pay for that, I don’t got friends nearby to play the physical version with

(If not, I’d honestly love that for this game and all the other tabletop games)

I asked during the stream. They replied that the custom module was handmade to playtest it, so the quality is not up to par to distribute.

And there was no plan to make a distribuable version yet.

Is there a recommended age range for this game? Many games list on the back of the box recommended number of players, ages, and expected play time. It would be nice if the store blurb included this information.

Unfortunatly this looks a lot like Cascadia without the great graphics.

Don't miss the Organized Play Accessory Perks & Promotional Boons for Elemental Stones!

Board game: Proof of ownership (instruction booklet or similar) of a Pathfinder or Starfinder-branded board game, such as Goblin Firework Fight, Elemental Stones or similar. Licensed products such as Pathfinder Munchkin qualify. For board games, the owner always gains the benefit, but if the game is played within 24 hours of an RPG session, all players who participate in the board game gain the benefits.

I disagree. The whole point of this game is that there's a high degree of interaction. Everybody uses the same board to score, instead of everybody having their own little board to fill out, and only sharing the drafting pool - like in Cascadia, Azul or Sagrada. There's a lot more interaction here, it looks like.

Only commenting because I've had enough of those "play your own little game along side everybody else" type games, and found this refreshing. :D
