This gives me hope that maybe we'll get a Ruby Phoenix battle card pack.
But, if this is out in October I'll 100% be done running Ruby Phoenix before the battle card pack comes out.
On the one hand, this is great as all the official art for all the creatures in an adventure path should be available. On the other hand, this is quite a delay from when the actual adventure path comes out, which is a bummer.

I'm guessing this is potentially a one-off to go with the hardcovers they're doing of Abomination Vaults, but if they sell well enough they may be added to other APs as they come out
I really hope these become a regular thing for APs. I love using battle cards so much I make my own for creatures and NPCs that don't already have them.

I think it's clear that this case it's special. It's the best/fastest selling PF2 AP they had, and it's getting a compilation, and those often get a bit more "premium" content.
I wouldn't hold my breath for similar decks for other APs. :X
(TBH, I'm actually surprised that this is part of the sub. I wonder if we'll get people complaining about that.)

Given they've shut down the pawns line, I hope they do bring these out for future APs. I wouldn't mind if they went back and did older APs too.
I suspect these are cheaper to produce than pawns, which was probably a consideration in shutting down the pawns line.

Will this include just the AV specific monsters or also standard monsters in AV that are in other Battle Card sets?
"Every monster from the Abomination Vaults AP" sure sounds like every monster from the AP.

Yea, that's what I figured considering there are 200 cards in the set. I'm not a big fan of purchasing 150ish? duplicate cards. I guess I will pass on the AP specific sets.
Delve Deep!
What untold horrors await in the sprawling megadungeon of the Abomination Vaults Adventure Path? This box contains 200 cards detailing every creepy aberration, sneaky hunter, and subterranean horror. Each card features a beautiful, full-color image on one side and that creature’s statistics on the other for quick and easy reference. Show your heroes what they’re facing while keeping the stats you need close at hand!
I wouldn't think so-- the premium module already has full art from the hardcover alongside with custom made tokens for the monsters. That's ignoring that this is a separate product

This still good for a December 14 release date?
I don't have any inside Paizo scoop but I did receive my notice today that these are shipping to me. That points to yes, I think.

There's no mist stalker battle card. Looks like they missed one.

It's under Elemental, Water.
I saw that finally. Heaven forbid they put it under M for Mist stalker. You know, the actual name for the monster.
Same thing happened when I was looking for Grothlut. I was looking under G for the name. But it was under F for Fleshwarp. The monster type, not the name.
Why do they have to make it harder? Other monsters are by their name.
Belcorra is under Belcorra. Not ghost, Her monster type. Very inconsistent. Either have they all listed by name, or by type. Don't mix it up.

I have seen the post about missing jpgs and created a ticket.
Any progress on this ticket? Abomination Vaults is one I want to run and wanting the actual JPG's for the cards instead of having to take snips from the PDF for my planning.
I understand that Mister Beak underwent some adjustment from the original Ruins of Gauntlight to the Abomination Vaults hardcover. Do these battle cards reflect that change?
EDIT: Mister Beak appears 'adjusted' on Archives of Nexus, with phantom pain as an alignment spell. Still wonder what its battle card says, though.

I ran this Saturday. The cards have the revised version of Mister Beak from the hardcover.
Spoiler:
The revised version was still pretty brutal. A critical failure on Phantom Pain and a good roll on 6d4 nearly put down one character, and the persistent damage dropped him. So it's still a dangerous encounter, just not as bad as a death effect. If I hadn't already bumped them to level 2 it would have been bad.
