Jackojare will not spend another RP to be back up at 1 HP. If I'm hit by another attack, I'll have 1 RP left and won't be able to stabilize. I'm saving my RP in case I get hit again, probably by an area attack, so I can stabilize again.

Did the elemental save against Id's dismissal spell last round? It wouldn't have beat up Jackojare if it poofed.

Sorry I couldn't post yesterday because of work, but I'd really like to resolve if the yellow elemental still exists (or even did exist over the last two turns) before taking my next action. It needed to beat a DC 22 Will save or be dismissed back to its home plane back from Id's last turn, and it looks like that wasn't resolved.

Ooh, sorry. I will edit hit points in upcoming large post.
Elemental Will vs Dismissal: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (7) + 8 = 15
Yellow elemental disappears in the portal. Slowly but surely.

I also found out that for the last Scaranis spell from gem - the save DC was 23, not 21 - so Tolar failed and could not move or bre. I will try to cover narratively my own mistakes.

Liberty's Edge

I little flashback for few seconds ago I will move Tolar's token to a place where he was hold by Scaranis, failing the last Fort to Psychokinetic Strangulation. Any way he missed all the attacks last turn. But I will return TOlar some hit-points "canceled" by earlier Dismissal.
Tolar rushsed after Scaranis and almost hit him once again, when Yellow security elemental reached out Tolar with his massive limb and grabs, resticting inside. Just a few moments later Tolar realizes he was exposed to magic and just lack of oxygen makes him hallucinate. He is 15 feet away from Scaranis, who landed near Jackojare body.

Tolar can not move and have to hold his breath. But can try to drop away this feeling. Fort save DC 23 every round.

Jackojare remains on the floor without movement.

Kait'Lax still supports assault agains Scaranis, my misses this time with a blast flying to a far wall.

Compucast continues execute his tactics of burning necrovite's flesh with acid. Scaranis Reflex: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (15) + 12 = 27... but Scaranis is too nimble.

Jackojare I guess will spend an RP to get back up at one, since Tolar blocked everything and I didn't have to respend 2 RP to stabilize again. He will then pick up his weapons.

Liberty's Edge

You suppose that electronencephalon should be somewhere here. But to check your hypothesis you need some rest. Scaranis body seems to regenerates nearly constantly. Kighsta thinks Scaranis can remake the shell within 24 interstellar hours.
Seems like you really should not necrovite alone for a long time.
BUt maybe you have 10 minutes of nearly rest. Regarding this place.
Jackojare in a mostly poor condition. Nearly everyone was is fatigue, and even after rest Tolar Buntu remains cursed.
I suppose even spellcasters spent a lot of resources.

But you preavil!

What next, boss?, - asks Kighsta agter your short rest. Do you mind I use PC's NPC this way? ^)

I see Tolar is dominated. Which typically lasts for days. Don't you normally get a second save against a dominate if your orders are against your nature (such as attacking your friends)?

I'm starting to grasp at straws here, as this is not looking like a good situation for us.

Of course this may be a non standard dominate that doesn't give that out clause.

Liberty's Edge

I am sure you can narrative your way out of this.
Write about Tolars feelings and thoughts for example.
Now I provide not really cruel commands, and Tolar seems to be fine about piking people around softly - nonlethaly.

I can provide a Will reroll if it seems reasonable according to narrative.

Moreover I feel some of you guys not really paying attention to what's happening in other posts. That make me sad a bit, but I understand also that the picture is complicated and probably my descriptions are poor. Anyway I would appreciate you read all the posts and try to imagine the narrative situation and if you face confusion or something need clearance -feel free to ask or discuss.

Interrupting a spell really possible. Especially during Full Round domination.

But even a standart action can be interrupted with AoO or failed save vs "counterspell" . Though, I believe target still need to be harmed somehow. If you try shoot Scaranis with cold - you wont interrupt his spell most likely as he is immune to cold.

Normally, you can concentrate even in a distracting situation, but if you’re casting a spell and you take damage from either a successful attack that targeted your AC or from an effect that you failed a saving throw against, the spell fails.

I am not sure how to rule the situation with no environmental protection in the Diaspora... environment. I believe even casting spell in cold vacuume could be problematic...

Important thing, because Scaranis obviously wanna get rid of the shaman.

I'd also notice that I won't be able to play next scenario legaly, at least in the nearest future - lack of exp.

So, the question is if you are ready to play with me GMing next scenario unless we find another solution. I'd better play, but seems like I have to GM next one.

I wouldn't mind getting in a game of 2-24 Cornered Rat.

We can also do Band on the Run for something sillier - it uses level 4 pregens but can be applied to any level character.

Compucast and I can't both run 3-06, so that's probably not the best idea.
No real preference between the other three options.

I can run 3-06, but don't need. How many xp will you be on after credit for this scenario Kirill?

Liberty's Edge

O think I need 1 exp to reach 11 lvl, and iimidiately add Adventure Path chronicle to become lvl 12.
So one game to go to Fleeting Truth continue.

3-06 or Band on the Run.

I've just finished GMing a run of Band, but I'm happy to GM it again if nobody else wants to run it. The only real advantage of that is that is plays pretty quickly and we could get started on it while we finish up here.

What I meant is that Compucast and I can't both run 3-06 at the same time, and I at least would have to use a pregen anyway since my only character who would be in tier is the one who played it before.

Same issue for Kailt'lax.

If you would prefer to GM it that is fine. From playing through it, it certainly game across as each individual encounter was quite complex. Are there enough other takers to make a legal table?

Sadly as I'm only level 10, haste has expired. Gosh this combat has gone on a long time, can't remember running out of haste before.

Does this lich look like he is almost gone? I thought we had it before those extra elementals turned up - being able to use a full round spell as an action from those controls is a massive advantage. As it is, it looks like we are on the verge of a wipe. Next round I'll go down to the elemental, and it looks very much like everyone else is also only one hit from unconscious.

I'd hate to see this encounter on high-tier!

Liberty's Edge

Well, I am sure you will handle this.
Honeslty, I believe rule of fun is mostly general. I also tryin to use some logic, which scenarios sometimes lacking of.

Not sure if I overstepped combat CR rules, but when you destroyed dragons and Scaranis unleashed all the security cold damage, I've decided to use monsters you conjured, but did not destryed, as an additional security measure.

---
As for upcombing scenario, we forgot about #2-24 scenario as an option?

I understand that it's problematic to run 3-06 so that everyone recieve credits for it, right?

--
@Tolar
"A creature immobilized in this way cannot move and must hold its breath". So the most general idea that this is Transmutation spell without additional tags. The most optimisticaly I'd say that Tolar immobilized and taking damage, but somehow can breath. Untill rolling successful Fort save, Scaranis stops concentrating or spell duration ends...

I don't need 3-06, so can sit back for a scenario if the group wants to play that and Kait could run it.

But a quick band-on-the-run run would probably be the easiest way to mechanically get you the xp required.

Yeah, if everyone needs to catch up, something can be dmed in between and I'll sit out a scenario too if I've already played it.

Liberty's Edge

Thats a bad tendency. Groups falls apart this way often, when they skip a lot of time, or someone drops for couple months.

I think I will be able quickly gather 1 XP. Actually my fellow who we play adventure path together with, promised me to run #3-06 via Roll20.

As for now I will press on with a necrovite untill the end. Meanwhile find a solution so that we continue this arc. If you survive :)

Liberty's Edge

I will give others some more time to post.
But diffinitelly post tomorrow, even if I have to bot someone.

If you thought we are at the end of scenario - there are still some things to do here.

Also I will play this Sunday to find necessary exp for Joe.
SO we we can easily continue trough Fleeting Truth after shis scenario end. Remind me, we already decided who willGM the next arc adventure?

Id-Sinitis was the only other person who said they might be interested during recruitment, but that was four months ago and things change. I have no problem either taking back over as GM or staying as player.

Same as Id here. I'd probably prefer to play, but okay with GMing if we want to pull straws.

Liberty's Edge

I'd say ID Sinitis was real star of this battle. He overstayed everything with tactics and a bunch of luck.
That's a good GM necessary skill ^)
Tolar was another example but soldiers durability is another story...

I enjoyed lsat scenario but sometimes new person really shoud step in.

Anyway, if we have several volunteers - we can just roll a dice to decide
