Mostly posting to give an update. I aquired the materials, but last week was very intense in real life and I was forced to focus on that. So the 'picking up' part may be delayed a bit further. Apologies and thanks for the patience - mostly wanted to check in and let you know I'm here and things are progressing :)

Also just gonna point out that of my !70! special abilities, 2 have identical names but different functions (this will increase to 3 at level 7, and 4 at level 11)

I just came by to bring you some Blueberry Pie and he kind of tags along since his unfortunate run-in with those burnybones! I'll...just leave the pie on this Tiefling. I wasn't planning on Eschatologist. In fact, I was thinking something closer to the Fey. XD

Just so no digging in her profile is needed...Yin is a Nightmare-Creature living in the Dimension of Dreams, in a subplane bordering the Shadow Plane...I'd very much like for her to get a cameo, at least ^_^

Usually, you'll want to actually address someone, rather than talking amongst yourselves and then staring expectantly at someone. XD They might think you're pretty weird if you do that.

It also taught me the hilarity of incorporeal undead swarms. Weak to Channel Energy... and not much else. XD The party did not have Channel Energy.

I still have nightmares. Which is good, all things considering. Also, it was fun, even though I would have preferred a Kaiju Kitten over the Robot.

Is it me, or is this the latest in a long line of games where the GM vanishes part way through recruitment? Usually gestalt or other unusual rules games where re-using the same character is usually difficult.

Personally, I don't really feel happy with the outcome of "drive her away"...because that equals "get back to lair, heal up, terrorize some other place"...basically it feels as if we did not accomplish anything relevant here.
Unless the epilogue includes us tracking her to her lair, then ambushing her during her sleep and ending her. Thats fine(with me), too.

Also, I need to scour Dalaston for survivors. There's some pregnant woman half-dead and with a killed daughter out there. Need to find her before it's too late. Foresaw it so.

which is plenty sufficient as answer since she was close to 600 feet away before moving.
When I asked for her stealth check, I rather inquired if Adam was able to see anything without specifically looking(assumption take 10, if he was keeping track of her).
Also, Perception takes non-visual cues or indirect cues, too. E.g. at the time she moves, she may cause "jet wake" flying low, or disrupt smoke from a chimney or a bird flying that would cross her path but gets "blown" away, or even try and heal herself with a breath weapon again, which would all be options to try and prepare on...the question to you, as GM, is if such signs exist, if it is reasonable to try and shoot her with a prepared action when we can pinpoint her location...or if thats a non-issue because we completely lost track of where she is.

@others...if she uses a run action, we can never catch up. Do we have any way or idea of finding where her lair is? Maybe deduce a likely location from her direction, knowledge about dragons, knowledge about geography, knowledge history, to consider the other city she depopulated, her dragon kind and possible lair locations? Does anybody else have shadow walk or the like(basically any fast-movement option to get ahead of her)?

I can take a single shot with miss chance, I suppose.

Then again, maybe her stealth check is crappy.
Being in motion and invisible is not such a great bonus, and Adam has an Awesome Perception Check.

Can he still see Horranath? What's the result of her be invisible stealth check?

I think we can wait.
We could have tried to see if the Truesight is range-limited which could make Greater Invisibility a good option, but honestly, I doubt it. With our size, Horranath knows our position...the only thing she could not do for a round is target us with a ranged effect, but thats too much of a gamble.

Haven't seen other options in your spells right now, but since i'm on vacation, I only quickly skimmed them.

Regarding the Cannon...how does it not need MORE offensive power...this is a custom Anti-Dragon Robotic Gladiator designed and called to battle Mythic Foes. It NEVER has enough offensive power ;) (Also, I suspect since it's destructive in nature, Oneidros and me were responsibly for creating it...2 lords of Umbra working in Unison to create something that unravels existance itself. I'm surprised it's not a Dragon-Bane Gun-Arm.)

Hehe, ya, as said, I'm all fine. I do hope you don't take it the wrong way. I tend to ask that kind of stuff, but I'll accept the call, if I do write more, its just to explain my thoughts, not to argue. I already made my post in Gameplay :)

Seeing how things turn into a Ranged Duel, Yin focuses the last of the magical strenght and lets the power flow into Adams Gun Arm, feeling it empowering through their shared vitality.

well, it also means my saves plummet to 10 less each...which admittedly has little effect at the current state, meaning I totally understand the call.

But usually if something like a feat that is a basis for a build gets nerfed, there is an option to re-pick involved. not my fault the errata regarding it just came up ;)

It could also be made a point for the open Feat slot, which of course would allow grabbing the most advantageous thing, but only once, after which it is locked in and can't be changed to something else. Of course, since we are in the final battle, thats also a moot point ;)

I just figured in combination it may be sufficient to sway you to allowing it, but no worries- then Greater Magic Weapon it will be. Sitting on the fist with Antimagic Field will do nothing if we stay at range.

On another note, one of my Feats got Errata'd recently...Divine Protection.

I think the usual modus operandi in that case is to allow free repick? If so, I could fetch Reach Metamagic, and use my third action to Cast a Reach(Long) Telekinetic charge the Dragon, if Barrett wants me to, and GM allows the repick.
Or we can keep playing the ranged Game, in which case Greater Magic Weapon on the Gun Arm.... All up to you guys.

Don't forget I even have a free feat slot I am playing without because I failed to put it in there after recreating characters...

If you plan on going with Ranged and Greater Vital Shots, I would Greater Magic Weapon the Gun Arm, yes.

I think I may still be sleepy, but why is Adam at 227 HP?

It would seem thats 32 less than he had before, and would fit if his fast healing was "calculated" for next round.

but I think, in fact, he should have 258 HP, having taken 31 damage, and healing 30.

While I should be on 170 HP, having taken 31 and healing 5.

Or does it not apply in this case? I figured if stuff like charm or death effects are called out in the text, magical things are included in shield other as long as they deal damage and it's still an attack dealing HP damage.

Could have misunderstood that, but wanted to ask regardless-

Hency why I took Ray of Exhaustion. Funny thing, it makes you fatigued if you make the save.

I have Greater Magic Weapon, yes.
While many of the buffs and debuffs and de-debuffs(Break Enchantment/Restoration etc...) I have are not applicable, I would still have some things left to give Adam.

Greater Magic Weapon, Shield of Faith, Mage Armor, Prayer, Enveloping Darkness...(and thats just some legit ones I can affect him with without generosity by GM).

Honestly, I'm simply hindered by the 3-action limit. Maybe Oneidros could "gift" me his so I can keep buffing Adam :)
Can easily say since he knew he would be of no use due to lack of spells, he pumped that much more Umbra into Adam to make sure I have juice left for the battle ^_^

For the record, I did also not expect a giant robot/dragon fight.
I fully prepared for a Giant Kitten/Dragon Fight.
(As in, a House Cat with templates and advanced to CR 25...the way nature intended)
