I am interested, thinking of making up a human unchained summoner.

I am thinking of going with a True Atlantean Zapper, it could work for either.

I too would like to join. I have all the required books.

I would be interested in any of them.

Here.

Universal Credits: 4d6 ⇒ (3, 2, 5, 3) = 13 1,300
Credits worth of gear: 2d4 ⇒ (2, 1) = 3 1,500

Enchanted Items & Mystic Gadgets: 1d20 ⇒ 20 You may choose any one of the results on this table.
Magic & Mysticism: 1d20 ⇒ 6 Your character has a knack for recovering PPE when the cards are right. Start with the Power Surge Edge.
Magic & Mysticism: 1d20 ⇒ 19 You may choose any one of the results on this table.

When it says you also get one roll on 'any' table except psionics, does that mean you can roll on a previously rolled table?

I too am interested in this. I am currently active in 2 other PBP games and can post daily.

Are we going with 12 or 15 points for skills?

No problem, I'm leaning toward either Ley Line Walker or Techno-Wizard.

Hello everyone. What is everyone thinking of playing? Are we only using the Tomorrow Legion's Player's Guide or can we use Iconic Frameworks/D-Bees from other books?

I'd be interested in 1e.

I am interested

Hello, I’m interested, thinking of a human Magus (Kensai)/Wizard with the Vampire template. 18 would go into DEX and 8 into CHA.

Stat: 1d10 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14
Stat: 1d10 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8
Stat: 1d10 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10
Stat: 1d10 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12

What are the creation rules?

Dotting

Congratulations to those beautiful few. May the dice gods be ever in your favor.

What is the current party makeup?

Dotting.

Welcome. I'd be okay with either Kingmaker or Skull & Shackles.

I too am interested in giving this a shot.

Current Concept:
A Noble Drow (1), half gold dragon (2), Magus (9) vampire (2), Archmage mythic path. Does that sound right?

Interested

Stat: 4d6 - 4 ⇒ (4, 5, 4, 5) - 4 = 14
Stat: 4d6 - 1 ⇒ (4, 1, 4, 4) - 1 = 12
Stat: 4d6 - 2 ⇒ (5, 2, 3, 5) - 2 = 13
Stat: 4d6 - 3 ⇒ (4, 3, 5, 5) - 3 = 14
Stat: 4d6 - 1 ⇒ (3, 1, 1, 6) - 1 = 10
Stat: 4d6 - 2 ⇒ (2, 6, 6, 3) - 2 = 15

1. Character Concept- Name, race, class what makes the character stand out: Flynn Psipher, Male Drow, Magus (elderch archer), If you’re going to do something do it right

2. What campaign trait you’d take from The players Guide Players Guide for Giant Slayer: Orphaned by Giants.

3. Why you're in Trunau..tie it to your campaign trait. He was part of the blackbows, a group of adventures that patrolled the lands keeping the borderlands safe.

4. What job do you have in Trunau? How do you make a living: Part of the town guard.

5. Have you played it before? and if you have can you separate your knowledge from person to character? Have not played before.

6. What makes you tick as a player? Why do you role play? I like the story that a group of players creates together.

7. Complete this introduction of your player that will be used in your first post. Looking down at his own hope knife Flynn Psipher hears the words of Chief Defender Halgra when she handed it to him “Those that are gone are not forgotten, for the hopes of they had live in us.”

11. All Players will receive a Hope Knife. An Engraved Masterwork Dagger, that hangs on a leather tether around your neck....what does the engraving say? Resistance is Futile

A quick question on the Business Associate trait do you gain the bonus $1,000 plus a bonus $500 times your level in starting funds or gain the bonus funds later in-game?

I too am interested. I'm in Central time.

Dotting. I will have something this weekend.

I have a human ranger I have been working on.

That's alright, take your time.

So for a few hours you should be in the void.

Xyndar would like to throw his hat in for pilot or gunner.

The ship combat does look fun

This is all some very creative stuff. I apologize, I haven't had much time to deep dive into everything that has been posted so far, but I plan on starting to review everything in more detail this weekend.

No worries.

To everyone: Which is your favourite part of Starfinder? And to those who haven't played it yet, which is the thing you're looking forward to the most?

I haven't played Starfinder yet, but have love the idea.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

How does a alchemist(vivsectionist)/barbarian/magus sound?

:
Round 1
Mutagen as a standard action (+4 alchemical bonus to STR)
Rage as a free action (+4 morale bonus to STR & CON)
Round 2
Cast Enlarge Person as part of an attack
Maybe sneak attack as part of attack
Round 3
Become enlarged (+2 size bonus to STR -2 DEX)
Cast Bull's Strength as part of an attack (+4 enchantment bonus to STR)

Thats +14 to STR in 18 seconds.

Xyndar of House Illambra

5 things about my character’s concept/background:

Spoiler:
1. Xyndar was born into a minor drow house on the planet Apostae around the time the Kasathen world ship Idari entered the then Pack Worlds.
2. He spent his early years as a page in House Illambra.
3. When he turned of age he was trained as an Intelligence Operative and was stationed on Absalom Station. Where he met Duravor, though he was sent to gather information on the Starfinders, he became friends with this friendly dwarf.
4. During the Swarm wars he spent his time on Apostae in defense of Nihgtarch with the rest of the drow males.
5. When Apostae fell into the Collective his entire family was taken out into the Silted Sea and thrown into the sea to die.

2 goals for my character:

Spoiler:
1. Xyndar dreams of having his own intelligence network throughout the Collective.
2. When Xyndar was being trained as an Operative he over hear about an artifact called “The Sphere” and how it could answer any yes or no question with near 100% accuracy. He would like to find this artifact (yes, it’s a magic 8 Ball).
3. Finding out why his family was put to death.

3 memories

Spoiler:
1. Being left for dead in the Silted Sea with the rest of his family. Since he had an operation during the Swarm Wars that augmented his lungs, he was able to hold his breath, in the airless environment that is the surface of Apostae and make it to safety.
2. The freedom as an Operative on Absalom Station away from the matriarchal society that is drow life for the first time.
3. Growing up and being told that he’s not worth the air he breaths and that he’s just a no-good male.

How I meet Duravor Keel:

Spoiler:
• House Illambra sent Xyndar to Absalom Station to gather information on the Starfinder and was told that a dwarf by the name of Duravor would be a good source of information. Though soon after meeting the friendly dwarf and getting an earful of his mining exploits they became friends.

Why I’m going to Absalom:

Spoiler:
• After his family was murdered Xyndar thought where better to hide and gather information than the belly of the beast, besides no one looks for a dead man

My reason to side with the Voidwalkers over the Collective:

Spoiler:
• Xyndar has a history against the Collective and the enemy of my enemy is my friend.

Dot. Question on a race I was think of a Drow (page 42 of the 1st Aline Archive) Operative if not I'll go with Elf. Otherwise I have two ideas:
A) Android Mechanic Priest, overly encouraging weak organics to add more and more cybernetics so they can become closer to Triune.
B) Elven Operative Outlaw, who is being framed by the Collective for things he didn’t do in the Swarm wars.

I am going to be running the old WotC D&D 3.5 Edition "Expedition to Castle Ravenloft" adventure very soon for a group of players. We are using Pathfinder instead of the original rules.

I was wondering two things:

1) If anyone has done this before and if so what effect it had on the game/adventure.

2) Those who are familiar with the adventure and Pathfinder could offer some ideas, insight or general observations about the virtues and pitfalls of choosing to run this adventure using Pathfinder.

My group is running a "Swashbuckling Adventures" game. For those who've never heard of it, it's AEG's attempt to adapt their 7th Sea RPG to d20 and while most people are more fond of the AEG original, my group is very familiar with d20 and finds SA to work just find for our tastes.

Except for one thing. "Standard" SRD classes pale in comparison to the classes presented in the SA core. However, the classes presented in PF offer a great alternative. In the course of playing, I've integrated alot of the rules changes from PF into the game. Basically if anyone has a rules question, instead of defaulting to the SRD Core Rule books, we look to the PF Beta.

The "Race Determines Bonus Hit Points at 1st level" rule is my new favorite. In games of high-adventure and swashbuckling this leads to character willing to be a bit more heroic at low levels. Leaping from a high window to make a narrow escape is no longer something people refuse to do for fear of a meager 1d6 or 2d6 falling damage.

Also, the Rogue is more of a Swashbuckler or a Dex-Focused combatant, and my group loves it.

Also, new Multi-Classing options and condensed skill lists are playing out great. Makes combat quite a bit more cinematic.

That being said, not everything is Peaches n Cream. Grapple still seems particularly awkward. This has slowed down many a drunken pirate brawls.

In short, based on the playtesting I plan on using Pathfinder as my "default" d20 Fantasy. Whether I run 7th Sea, Ravenloft, Dark Sun or any other fantasy d20 games, Pathfinder will serve as my core.

I'll keep everyone up to date as the game continues.
